Today, I wanted to show you all a new concept I have been experimenting with for the last year. I call this concept slow improv, and it will definitely help you play cleaner on guitar. It's a very simple concept of slowing down your improv track as well your own playing so that your muscle memory can take in the slow and accurate licks and patterns you play overtime as opposed to taking in sloppy rushed techniques. Doing slow improv will save you so much time from not having to go back to clean up your technique. Playing slow let's you hone in on correct technique, it gives you the headroom you need to implement newer techniques much easier. Slow improv combined with intentional practice is definitely how you play cleaner on guitar.
