I like the eyes on the Roomba. Judd has a dry sense of humor. Love it. Two cameras. Twice the adventure. Jaquie, it's nice to see the closeness you have with Harlow not just as a service dog. I notice she really makes you smile. Judd was busy.
Harlow is too cute! And you take such good care of her. I'm a dog groomer, so I think it's awesome when people dedicate time to grooming their dogs. A tool I really like using on Goldens is an undercoat rake, or something of the like. I really like Andis's deshedding tool (you can get it off of Chewy). Since you brush her regularly, you wouldn't have to use that often, but it works wonders and gets rid of sooo much dead undercoat. Love you both!

My son (8) has non-exercise induced (allergy induced) cough variant asthma.. he can randomly just have a full fledged severe cough as if he had the flu come completely out of nowhere. When that happens he uses his nebulizer to take treatments of albuterol and pulmicort along with his qvar inhaler and a nightly pill of singulair. Luckily this isn't a daily thing but when he gets any kind of cold or allergies or anything that triggers his reactive airways its treatments 24/7 👎🏼 but I'm so grateful for the medications because they sure do help him a lot! ❤️

My pup won’t let me near his feet no matter how much praise or how many treats we use. We have to take him to get his nails clipped at the vet. Grooming him (we have to do it completely ourselves, including bathing and shaving, otherwise it’s $70+ every 4 or 5 weeks which is unrealistic) and it’s always a 6 hour long process over the course of a few days. It’s such a nightmare and I don’t know what to do to make it easier lol. I LOVE the eyes on the trash can, by the way 😂
Just Gina my dog was the same, she hated her feet being touched and would bite. You could try touching your dogs legs then the top of the foot and have someone give them rubs or treats. It will take a while but now my dog has no problems with her feet being touched and held!
My Rosie (pup on the right in photo) has to have her nails done at the vet as well. It's the only place I feel safe taking her as she fights and bites anyone doing her nails. So having two vet tech's holding her as well as me trying to to distract and hold her head (she is muzzled but has a tendency to swing her head) while the vet does her nails is the only way i will have them done as it is such a hard process. She is a rescue and has some issues, this just happens to be one of her biggest triggers.
The fact that you only like wearing Mossimo shirts because of your sensory disorder came up in conversation with my mom yesterday. I dont know if you got used to other clothes because I watch your videos in random order. My mom wanted me to ask you if youve tried The Wilbarger Protocol (Brushing Therapy)? Shes an OT and she brought the brush home for my brother who hates the feeling of lotion, at first he didnt like the feeling of the brush but now he easily brushes himself (when he remembers) and there has been a few times where my mom has given him lotion to put on himself and hes just standing there joking instead of cringing.
Alex I'll wear other things I just prefer Mossimo (: I'm on hold with PT for now since I kept missing sessions when my health was not well controlled but I'm hoping to restart soon since I'm doing better. I'm not sure if my OT ever did that protocol but we did a lot of things that helped me. I'll ask when I go back!
Hey Jaquie! Not sure how much this’ll help, but while Dremel-ing...try alternating between nails instead of holding it through an entire nail until it’s done! The Dremel builds a lot of pressure and gets hot and makes them uncomfortable (like how we feel with carpet burn) and alternating between nails gives them time to cool off! Hope this helps!!!
Lol!! When you broke out the Dremel for Harlow’s nails it reminded me back in high school my mom would trim our dogs nails with one of those. And I would bring friends over and they thought it was he funnnniest thing to trim their toenails with the dremel... oh high school boys 😂😂

I'm so glad you use a mask when you do her nails! I was actually really worried that you might not use it and get groomer lung or something. As a fellow asthmatic, and someone that cares in general, of course, I worry a lot about your lungs. I've known many a groomer that didn't wear a mask and would just cough a lot because of groomer lung. Once they put the mask on the cough pretty much stopped because they stopped inhaling all the particles that were irritating them.

You should get a pedi paw it has a guard on it so the dust doesn’t get anywhere and it’s specifically designed for doing animals nails so it’s a safe setting and they sell replacement parts to it. I see the googly eyes on the rumba and it reminds me of American Dad lol. Knowing me I’d forget that I put the eyes everywhere and would be like what the heck how’d that get there lol

I use primal dog food, which is all raw and complete dog food, already in doggie patties, so all you have to do is cut it up for her. Less work for you, I love Primal dog food. No mess. No fuss. This is great for me because I too, am very anemic, weak, etc. 😃

I just started watching you recently and It's really uplifting to watch your videos, I guess it's sort of like "if Jaquie can do it so can I" lol I have a plethora of medical conditions and needless to say even though The things I deal with aren't the same as what you deal with I relate a lot to your videos and they help me strive to live a better more positive life. I could go on and on about these things but I also feel like my illnesses don't define me and I wanted to ask you some thing unrelated to chronic illness :p So! I know you get some of your leggings from lala leggings but I was wondering if you had other places (preferably websites) you use! I just have a problem finding ones with patterns that aren't see through on the bum :'(
Target has some good leggings if you like athletic leggings cause they are smoother and stretchier there's so many buff bunny has cute pairs they are plain but high waisted and have a large pocket on the side for keys wallet or phone they arent see through which is nice she also gets her leggings at old Navy I just remembered that as I was typing

SeaFoamMelon yeah I understand I'm not normally a positive person about most things I'd like to say I'm a realist and sometimes the real world isn't glamorous yeah I'm still being diagnosed there's so many factors that kinda come out of the woodwork that the doctors think are genetic unfortunately my bio mom did drugs while she was pregnant with me and most likely all my other siblings yeah I have eds gastroparesis anaphylaxis pots and many other undiscovered medical issues I'm being tested for spinal Ms I went and got my neck x-rayed because I was having really bad pain constantly it wouldn't allow me to move my neck I had originally thought one of the disks in my spine has slipped pinching the nerve so I asked for an x-ray but they found fluid or tissue hanging out between my c6 and c7 I had an MRI and now just awaiting results I'm very much a prepare for the worst hope for the best worst case scenario is it paralyzes me best and most likely case senario is it's not that serious but I'm more prepared for the spinal Ms diagnosis or something similar since everything in my body has gone out of wack lol but alot of people view me as being negative when I prepare like that I tell them I'd rather be prepared than be devastated with a diagnosis I wasn't prepared for

I realize some of that is necessary as to put the service Dog info into context, but as a new person with a service Dog, I am trying to learn as much as I can about my rights, responsibilities and expectations as I go out with my service Dog.
As soon as you put the carrots out she knew what was up, lol. The raw diet must be good, I have never seen that little hair come out of a golden. I love the eyes. And yes everything needs googly eyes, everything is better with googly eyes, lol

That's something that's been recommended by some of my docs but poo pooed by others as something that only works for a short time (i.e. 30 days) and as such isn't worth doing. Out of curiosity, do you know what brand of dremel you use and how much it costs? I have a large male black lab and I have been clipping his nails but some nails are too large to go through the space where they get clipped, and bits of his nails are left everywhere, so I have been looking into using a dremel instead. A nice rechargeable one would be amazing (right now we only have one that needs to be plugged in and I wouldn't want him accidentally unplugging it or getting caught in the wire) Love watching you guys and can't wait to hear more in the future!
I hope the link works. The Dremel I bought a couple of months back looks just like hers. It works great and has a battery that you just have to charge up. Hope that helps!
I never knew my coughing fits could be asthma...thanks to you I got into researching cough variant asthma and am now on the lookout for a good doctor (more for an appointment the waiting time is astronomical) a diagnosis with adequate treatment would be great 👍
I wish my dogs would behave during nail clipping. They HATE it!! My dog Lucy doesn't fight me much anymore, but my dog Phoebe is extremely strong and it takes at least 2 people sometimes 3 to get her nails trimmed.
Jaquie, Could you maybe consider doing a video on SD "registration". I feel it would be very informational as a LOT of people have misconceptions about it. A short video would be just fine, don't feel any pressure though I will understand if you can't. :)

I wish my dogs would behave during nail clipping. They HATE it!! My dog Lucy doesn't fight me much anymore, but my dog Phoebe is extremely strong and it takes at least 2 people sometimes 3 to get her nails trimmed.
