Yooooo 18:55 is not correct! Rejoice the Fallen can only be used on that unit which has had one or more models killed, NOT a nearby unit! Stop cheating! 😂
you are right. I have used that stratagem so many times (correctly) but with fighting Necrons and Votann so many times recently I am getting it confused with their versions. Rejoice the fallen is only for the unit that lost models I think the heat is getting to me.
Ah yes...the illegal military arm of the ecclesiarchy ever since SoB got made as the current wing. You shall be my new fav vtuber. That said I shall always headcanon that the imperium *knew* about the loophole.
I've got a list I made called "Oops! No sisters!" That's been pretty successful so far. It's all arcos with preachers, crusaders with missionaries, engines, assassins, and inquisitors.
We gotta cut the Death Cult Assassins and every fifth Arco-flaggellant to reach that goal. Because even though the lore says there can be male Deathcult Assassins, the lore also says we can have female preachers, crusaders etc. So if we want a true no girls army we need to be consistent with our standards and cut the Assassins. We also need to spend 1/5th more of our money on Arcofalegellants as one in every five are clearly women... also in the lore Sisters can be made into Arco-flagellants in some very dishonorable circumstances so we have to be very careful to avoid breaking our rules and not include any female arco-flaggellants. And the novitiates, if we want to proxy a model for Frateris Militia we can use some crawdor or guardsmen models instead of actual sister models and use them as free agents instead of novitiates. And Morvhen Vahl is very definitely a Sister of Battle so we can't have her, and definitionally the Abess Sanctorum seat of the Highlords of Terra can't be filled by a man, the ecclesiarchy one can. And we can't use the rules for sisters models like the pulpit either or else we are cheaters. Actually it's kind of impossible to do 2,000 without cheating due to the rule of 3 lol.
Now I kinda want to make a SoB army like this. Maybe convert some of the tanks to have Frateris Militia crew to make it a bit less limiting. Theming it as Age of Apostasy Frateris Temlars might be fun, too.
I usually run x6 Crusaders led by a Preacher as one unit. It's pretty tanky (in comparison to other sister units) and with the +1 wound from the preacher has proven quite valuable for wounding marine units on 3+. People thought I was mad, well who is made now!?
I used to take a pack of Crusaders with my Inquisitor in Terminator armor with my GSC back in the day. Nothing like a pack of walking denies that where hard to kill.
If running this many Crusaders, a good proxy kit might be the Knights of the Realm on Foot. 10 on foot highly decorated heavily armoured lads with some big shields. Split them into two fours and a two and away you go. Proxying Death Cult Assassins is something I've seen done using wych aelves or Echer gangers. I'm using Myrmourn banshees because my Sisters can be spooky if they want to. For a male variant, Delaque gangers are suitably sneaky looking, and if you only want two you have the choice of the default ones or splashing out and getting the cool looking nacht-ghuls with claws and huge katanas. Missionaries and Preachers are, as you said, easily done with Cawdor or Redemptionist gang boxes. Especially Redepmtionists, because they have shotgunners and flamer-chanswords right there in the kit and look more like they have resources to work with rather than being part of the maddened horde a priest would be leading.
I really like the lads and lasses of the Knights of the realm on foot! We will have to see what unit composition the codex brings before we start buying. These are all good proxy ideas
its a bit weird at the moment, there is no current list of High Lords so we don't know if Vahl filled the seat of the Ecclesiarch or if she sits next to him. Either way, I'm sure some religious types would follow her into battle as she is a High Lord
@@ChristianVonCarmian40kVtuber Actually, there is. The Ecclesiarch is one of nine offices in the High Lords that's always represented. Vahl has one of the three other seats, thanks to good ol' Robbie G.
i dont want my penitent troops and crusaiders to go, i just startet with 10th and bought them becuase thy are cool (and wonderful filler troops it whould weaken sororitas a lot especially without penitent engines i have 4 of them and without no 2000 point army)
I don't mind if the resin ecclesiarchy units get sent to Agents. With the exception of Arco-flagellants and Penitent engines (cause combat patrol). Make more room for power armor sisters. Agents can have all the dudes.
Another thought: technically, Vehicles have no sex, and probably no gender either. A Rhino is neither a man nor woman under arms. So if you want to stick to theme, loading your list with vehicles is another option.
Sister, get the flamer. The heavy flamer. Edit: more seriously, I'm not sure that a character killed via Precision yields a Miracle die? And I see no reason you couldn't take Castigators and Exorcists and say they're being crewed by dudes. Also in terms of sourcing models, the Inquisitor Henchmen has an Inquisitor wannabe with a pistol and a crazy preacher guy with a shotgun.

Misters of battle.
Why misters? Mb "brother" better?
Because "Brothers" of Battle doesn't rhyme with Sisters the way "Misters" does.

This is heresy
Remember the wise words of the emperor himself: "No girls allowed, they are icky"

they probably did, better to keep the Daughters of the Emperor around and use them instead of killing them as heretics
What’s a vtuber?

Heresy, I refuse to have a single male model in my Sisters army!
Good things it isn't single male models but multiple male models,
Loopholes are core to the imperium
Me, refusing to play naked robot men no matter how good they are.

I'd lover to see a similar video on how to make mono imperial agents pre if they get a codex - It's a lot of fun to theorycraft.
Its like how 5th ed gk was secretly an inquisition codex

Haaaang on, Vahl is not the leader of the Ecclesiarchy in the High Lords of Terra council. The Ecclesiarch is also in that council.
