The community has worked for years to have a thriving competitive scene and in a few short moves, Panda has crapped on all that progress for a short momentary gain. Beyond the injustice of the Smash World Tour event being canceled after a year of careful planning and organization, any non-Nintendo-sanctioned smash event is now on the chopping block which will impact the scene one way or another. There's no other way around it, the upper brass at Panda should be ashamed of themselves for stabbing their fellows in the back for their own gain.
Shitendo has minions everywhere trying to take smash bros down. It would explain why panda wants to be the only one. So the smash community dies once and for all and honestly it should. Nintendo is making so hard to even play the game. They've done it for years and now panda is going in on it making it harder. Just let it die or tell the ENTIRE smash community to NEVER buy anything from nintendo product wise again. Support the smash community only, nothing else nintendo makes. I can support the players, but what the company did is unforgivable. I’ve been a panda for months and was excited to see the panda cup and love the chemistry between WaDi, Marss, and ESAM, but it seems like I’m going to miss out on most of their collabs because watching Panda after what happened makes my stomach churn. Sorry WaDi but I will no longer be one of the people who rings that bell.

It's not most of the org or staff's fault, it's mostly Alan pulling the strings. If he gets fired and replaced and things get right I see no reason to continuing to hate panda for a thing that they no longer associate with.

So basically what Nintendo's been doing for years? Except nintendo is worse because they have the lawyers and have sent actual cease and desist letters. Remember EVO 2022 where Nintendo themselves dropped out of the biggest tournament in the world to remove smash. Yeah nah Shitendo killed the smash scene and while it tries to try and come back to life and nintendo keeps killing it, here we just have Panda Global doing what nintendo is doing abit more of the same just trying abit harder to kill it more brutally so it won't come back.
The smash scene should just die already, noone should support nintendo at all anymore. Tired of the shills and asskissers keeping it up. At least the pros should all say do not support nintendo ever and do not buy their products. That way they can play the older smash games or whatever and not have anyone buy new nintendo products or support them. I mean something needs to be done and noone is taking down nintendo even a tiny bit. @@churchof595 in advance before you read this I'm kinda shaky and this is kind of freaking me out so I apologize for any spelling mistakes, bad grammar, or misinformation this is just my understanding of it as of now cause I havent done a lot of research and this is just from what I've seen on Twitter but, Alan (panda CEO) wanted broadcasting rights (I believe) for some beyond the summit stuff (for lack of better words) and after they refused to hand the rights away for free he threatened large to's (like vgc boot camp and for lack of more knowledge somone part of the beyond the summit team)because they're unlicensed and would get their events cancelled directly by Nintendo (already cancelled events by vgc and bts (I think I'm not fully sure who runs the smash world tour) glitch, double down, and the smash world tour 2022 and 2023) fyi these events were cancelled by the respective to's I believe and weren't strikes by Nintendo
@@jordan_61 he threatened SWT to claim Smash World Tour tournaments as a part of panda instead, told tournament organizers that SWT would not last until the end of the year (to try to make TO’s support Panda cup instead) due to legal reasons, and threatened BTS for streaming rights. Nintendo was slow to respond to SWT about licensing, but they stated that it was fully ok for SWT and Panda cup to both have events under their circuit, and that they were attempting to license SWT by December, with the circuit only being licensed the following spring. They cancelled that though, and due to everything going on w Alan, the community is now in shambles. Personally, I don’t feel like this is any of the smash Pandas faults and I think many agree (however there is a meme of Esam that’s going around on Twitter and might become borderline harassment so be careful), but I understand and respect the decisions of anyone who doesn’t want to support the channel due to these events. Smash is strong.

It's crazy how all these panda employees are leaving but Alan supposedly has damning evidence he's about to drop? Like if I was employed I would have at least checked with upper management or something to make sure they aren't about to make a HUGE financial blunder...and yes someone of them will be just fine without panda and yes pandas statement kinda vaguely admits that Alan said those things but...either Alans lying and nothing changes from this point or (less likely but still possible) a lot of these panda employees jumped ship to without even asking if SWT was lying or not. Which if that's the case I feel will be worse for them as the people who abandoned panda when they actually were in the right( again this is assuming if Alan does pull out some FAT receipts on SWT and BTS)

Just read Alan's statement, which I must say provides more answers than the other side of the story. I was skeptical having seen the initial statements from Panda and Nintendo, as both seemed confused about why SWT cancelled, and Alan's statement was the cherry on top. Don't know why they cancelled, but I do not believe their story anymore and am instead with Alan and panda. Sadly this whole fiasco has likely gutted Panda forever, and has ruined the last two tournaments for the end of the year. Can't believe this is how the smash scene's potential ends, or at the very least gets reset.
Just read up on everything that happened, and wow. I don't think I can support a company led by Alan. If I see that leadership is changed I may, but as it is a scene that I casually have interest in just lost a lot of things for me to have interest in. I'm not as sad as other people as I'm not an avid player, but I do like the scene and the community and you just gutted it.
All I’m gonna say is I hope wadi Marss and esam find better sponsors and can still make the content they love to normally because that’s the main reason I watched this channel and I’m sure most other people did.

And yes bomb oos is great but you’re implying you’ll always having a bomb in hand when bomb can be used in neutral and be thrown so you having both up b oos and up smash is very good for Link who’s slow

I’ve been able to tell there’s something up with Panda’s management. They staff seems very cool, but the owner is clearly a ruthless business person. It has been obvious at times that he forces more content out of his creators than they would like for the views. He doesn’t care for the smash community only his pockets it seems.
I hope Wadi, Esam, Marss etc. are done with Panda and will go to MOIST esports! Keep all the revenue, and have a CEO that cares for you and the pro smash scene!

I’m very disappointed in Panda rn. I genuinely believed the Panda Cup would finally make it so our community and Nintendo would finally see eye to eye and be able to work together to improve this community and make smash thrive. Coming back to this is honestly super sad. Literally everybody at Panda had no idea what was going on except for the people higher up, and all it took was one single person to fuck up the career and reputation in order to make this e-sports team lose their most valuable and recognizable members. This video will serve as a reminder of how a once pretty decent e-sports team went down into shambles as these in the very video don't know that this might be their last one together.
