I am a disabled guy who loves to get involved in harvest. And you just gave me a phenomenal idea!! All I need is to have my nieces or nephew ride along with me when something needs to be done outside the cab. 😂😂
Agree with your assessment of your neighbor driving their combines on your right-of-way and throwing their chaff weed seeds into your bean field. There's a lot more to being a good farmer that they could practice. As always, loving your content! 😊👍
At least the great yeilds will help out on the poor prices. Looks like you will be caught up to whats ready by the time it rains . (And whipe your feet when you get in Phils new truck) 😅😅
I'm getting 120 bushel beans, and as far as your neighbor goes he's not breaking any laws I use other farmers lanes to get to some of our fields it's common practice in the AG industry anywho have a great harvest
I find it funny u spend so much time getting the combine spotless after ur done but u just hose it down to clean the windows 😂 get ya a california duster to clean them every night. They'll stay spotless till it rains on ya
Hey Nathan, sometime when you are looking to fill video time, can you give us your thoughts on controlled traffic farming. How it would or would not fit in your operation?
It depends on where in Washington you are. I live in North Bend (they don't know how to plow and schools close for days for 1/2 inch of snow) Centralia -(South Sound area) South has bad fog, and they close/ delay schools.
You just wonder with excellent results like these and a generally difficult planting and growing season how high yields could they get to in an average weather year! Incidentally how is quality judged / assessed in these types of beans beyond the obvious issues of cracked/ split beans, % moisture content and contamination of the sample?
Those and foriegn material are about it as far as how we get paid. You could test oil content, protien, etc. But none of that affects what we get paid.
There is a moisture sensor in the clean grain elevator that continuously takes moisture samples, the yield is measured by a mass flow sensor at the top of the clean grain elevator that measures the force of the grain moving past it to determine yield. Works with the weigh pads in the grain tank to self calibrate.
what kind of neighbor just drives across another guys field without asking ( unless it’s a situation were they are close neighbors and it’s a normal practice ) sounds like an ego problem
Thing that really sucks is that now that you are taking some water hemp in no you are spreading it it farther around your farm now too!! All us farms ask is for neighbors to be considerate and talk and most of the time we will help each other out but this is an example of why some neighbors can’t get along and it’s sad really!

I really appreciate your business sense and thought processes. That has help me better develop my own life skills. Thanks 👍
They canceled school cause of foggy conditions??? My gawd we have gone soft!!!
Great yields. Really happy for you!! Stay safe.
Watching from the auger cart! We took it off the 8430 this year and put it on the 8310r we got similar equipment be safe!!
AMAZING How Water Hemp increased incredible Beans per acre on a historically Bad Field ! 🚜 😆
Wow nice
At'll do, good beans!
GOOD MORNING !!!! :)
how are YOU DOING???
hope your FRIDAY IS AWESOME !!!
have an AWESOME WEEKEND!!! :)
Great video good to see y'all
We was running 8-9 moisture beans earlier this week. Here in west Michigan
@derektimmerman5782 here in east Michigan I'm at 13 % and 120 bushel
At least the great yeilds will help out on the poor prices.
Looks like you will be caught up to whats ready by the time it rains . (And whipe your feet when you get in Phils new truck) 😅😅
I've noticed when the dust starts hanging it doesn't take long for the beans to get tough
Yep that's usually the case
Good morning
We started harvesting soybeans and the moisture is 10.5 or 11.5 percent
Good morning Nathan !
All you need to know about the state of the public school system in this country. Cancel school on a bright sunny day.
First 😂😂. Congratulations on the yield so far and have a safe harvest!
Good video!!

I have one, its helpful but not great.
Have you walked out in your beam fields? Lots of beans popping out on there own humidity been pretty low
Good evening
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
How was it driving the new blue truck 🛻? Congrats on the 🫘.

Looks like a foggy morning there
John Deere says they are the Boss
Those beans with the green and dry mix could just be a factory error that mixed in some really late maturity, or gene expression instability!
Unlikley, but possible. Given that its patchy and not just random plants it probably environmental conditions and not a seed issue
Larsons are killing beans to dry them this year lol
They’re killing black turtle beans. Totally different than soybeans. They’ll let the soybeans die off on their own.
Good thing they closed the schools with fog especially near railroad tracks
I would really be interested in hearing which varieties the beans are, not just the maturity, if that’s something you want to share
I've been saying them
I've never herd of canceling school for fog. That's not a thing here in Washington lol 1/16 inch of snow they will cancel but not for fog
It depends on where in Washington you are. I live in North Bend (they don't know how to plow and schools close for days for 1/2 inch of snow) Centralia -(South Sound area) South has bad fog, and they close/ delay schools.
So how many bushels did you end up with
do you ever consider a air rell
are you seeing many acres of wheat going in this year in your area?
I haven't seen any planted yet but i think it will be about normal.
look up heartoung family farms there is a john deere guy that is in their farm he ia a engineer for deere

Can you explain how the combine determines moisture content and determines yield?
There is a moisture sensor in the clean grain elevator that continuously takes moisture samples, the yield is measured by a mass flow sensor at the top of the clean grain elevator that measures the force of the grain moving past it to determine yield. Works with the weigh pads in the grain tank to self calibrate.
Piss poor neighbor!
Fig delays school :-)
Have you tried a DJI osmo to hold your phone?
I have, I can't carry that thing around all day. I've thought about using an Osmo pocket to film with but haven't got one yet
What do the. Um dra for bean maturity mean?
The neighbors are just inconsiderate to say the least. Not cool. Deere definitely needs to address that issue with the iPad connection.
You got the new truck dirty!!!
I don't blame you for being ticked at the neighbours for throwing their seeds all around that's just not on😤😡😠🤬

Yep
They cancelled school due to fog?
Why air your grievance out on you tube talk to them directly that’s what neighbors do.
Why do I have to be the one to go out of my way?
@@BorderViewFarms If you’re making a complaint you should let them know what it’s about.
Cause you’re the one complaining! But really that’s nothing new
@@Terry-xi5qk but they shouldn't ask before driving across our property?
Good morning
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Good Morning
