So pumped I found your channel. Great to see an aussie TA22 restoration project. I've been looking for "barn finds" and am in love with the 70's Celicas. Zero experience with restorations but keen to learn on one of these beasts. Will be following this project with a keen eye. Love the F.A.C.T.S acronym!

70's cars are great to learn on, because they are much less complicated than newer cars.
Watch all the videos you can across youtube, and just jump in!
I'm getting close to bodywork, which is my least favourite thing, so perhaps don't attempt to learn anything from me in that field! 😆

Plenty to do, but thankfully not a complicated car! The engine is healthy, but the ancillaries need attention. I'm looking forward to driving this one on the streets the most.
