Little Arbor Vitae is a 534 acre lake in northern Wisconsin. It contains a good number of walleye and muskie. It also contains a few large northern pike and a healthy population of largemouth bass. There is a growing population of smallmouth bass too. Crappie, bluegill, and perch can be caught here as well.

Hi Wes. I always enjoy going to lakes that people suggest. This one had all the fish biting. Unfortunately (or fortunately) there are way to many lakes still to fish, so I probably won't be back.

Fall is almsot in full swing up there with those temps. That was cool to see how diverse the species of fish in the lake is. Solid chunk largie! That walleye did not like the camera.

We try to fish for as many species as we can, but got extra lucky on this lake. I felt bad for that walleye and finally just let him go without a picture. Thanks Dpuck.

Love the channel as I just found it. Music is sweet. Great content. I will say though, some constructive criticism, when measuring muskie you need to make sure you're doing it on a bumper board or something plastic and make sure it's wet. Measuring on dry carpet is not good for the fish they lose a lot of their protective slime.

The wide-angle camera positioning at the end 17:10 behind the two of you flinging those big bucktails feels dangerous. I almost flinched.

You're right to want to flinch. I've been to the hospital twice. One in the back, and one in the leg. The poor camera has been hooked a few times too!

I wonder how northern got in there, the DNR long went to great lengths to keep northern out of Big and Little Arbor Vitae Lakes in favor of Muskie. Both lakes are also great walleye, crappie, and perch lakes, although Little Arbor tends to be cyclical for crappie. A really awesome lake to try in this area is Little St. Germain, a few miles east right in the town of St. Germain.

Hi Walt. In this video, the northern I caught had black spot disease, so it was speckled with many small black dots. The other two fish were a musky and a tiger musky. So Maybe you were looking at those fish? The tiger musky especially had some really neat stripes.
