Now you see so many channels trying to copy their tutorial styles, even using similar profile pics and editing. Goes to show what an impact they've made in such a relatively short period of time
@@rrrrrrrrrRrrrrrRRRhaha Ok, thats true but many of the shulkercraft tutorials (99% of them) are from channels like Ianxofour, Rays works, Ilmango and many other very talented peoples. Nice comparison of shaders. It's good that you compare all shaders on the same setting, but maybe you could also add Cave (lush & normal), Underwater and Nether in it? Would be very helpful I guess. The FPS comparison was also very interesting. Right now, the Complimentary Shader works best for me, but I haven't found the perfect one. Most are too bright, or too dark in the cave's and underwater, or the contrast is too high. Some of the lighter ones are very pretty, but sadly don't have pretty water.
My fav shaders in three categories are - 1: Best looks - Nostalgia (high end devices) 2: Good looks good performance - Complementary or chocapic you can't go wrong with either 3: Best looks to performance ratio : Makeup ultra fast (other performance shaders don't look near as good as these and only give like 10-15 fps more) Also it is better to use oculus and rubidium on forge Iris and sodium on fabric for better load times and fps
@@gtaofficial6507 Nostalgia default looks good but I change shadow dist and resolution depending on the fps I want. Also I tweak around the water settings changing underwater colour (reducing red) but that's personal preference
I've already used 4:52 and it's amazing despite its problems. (When it rains/night it is almost pitch black and some bugs for real time shadow that appear when you have so many smal details on a building and problems with ender dragon) But it's a nice shader and I enjoy it. Also, the nether is not very dark.
Makes me satified about shader: -Animated Grass and tree - Realisticn Water - Careful not to slip at rain 💀💀 - Shadows (without shadow shader are nothing bro)
Sildur vibrant and Chocapic are the best if you want beautiful shaders without losing a lot of fps. Another beautiful shader you forgot was SEUS PTGI, that uses ray tracing.
Here are some oddities: - ProjectLuma and Sora, see through water - Insanity, for apocalypse etc. - Sildur, appreciated - Complementary, appreciated, popular - Beyond Belief, glowing cobwebs - Chocapic, far render distance, too dark My highest priorities are not having the colors too distant of the original, good sparing fps and good 'render cutting'. I don't need everything to see, but there are few who actually shorten the render distance. Considering I'm (finally) going for Shaders, I kinda expect a good render cutting. Something that Sildur does pretty good. Personally I like the water for a bit see-through / the sun 'correct' (I guess round can be okay?) / being able too see a little bit better in the night.
My personal favourites would be Complementary - so many settings :) Then there would be Complementary Reimagined, Seus Renewed and Seus PTGI. Im currently eying Rethinking Voxels and Voxlementary, which are edits of Complementary and Reimagined with colored lighting. :) Could you do some comparison of Ray traced shaders? :)
I really like Beyond Belief Legacy, I'd never seen that before. I think it's my new go-to shader. The favourites I have are Seus 11, Seus PTGI, Nostalgia, Kappa 5.0, BSL and Complementary
I personally think iris is way better than optifine, especially if you have a really low end pc. On optifine, you need a nasa pc to run shaders at a decent frame rate, but with iris + sodium, your pc doesn’t have to be anywhere near as high end, and you can still customise to the same extent, and the loading is quicker. There is honestly no reason to use optifine anymore
I use DrDestens because of its bokeh effect. It looks beautiful and blurs perfectly smooth between transitions. In my opinion the best shaders for low end pc`s
Hey shulkercrat i designed a super easy rail farm its on my channel but can you make it in you survival world cuz you gonna have infinite rail 3 stack/minute
Honestly, this video was a bit lacking for the Shulkercraft standards. I would've preferred that you show less shaders but talk about them in more detail. Forgetting to mention Iris is a pretty big mistake, too, because it can be used with the CaffeineMC ecosystem for a lot more fps. Also, all of the flickering shadows in the scenes could've been easily fixed by turning up the shadow quality in the settings.
Brothers! I have a super cool project you should do! OCEAN PERIMETER FOR AN OCEAN FARM! Ik it gets you somewhat dumb loot but I think it'd be a killer vid.
All of these shaders have their own feature, but I still love vanilla. I don't think there's something that needs to be changed. Vanilla in my heart forever, and any mods can't replace it.
I used to use SEUS and I still think it's absolutely SPLENDID, I've never seen water so nice in the game, there is ripples of light underneath and it's amazing. Sadly my current, beloved texture pack isn't compatible so I'm sticking with BSL. My likes from this vid would be AstraLex and Nostalgia, but as you listed them with the lowest FPS results, and mine already being pretty bad even on a newer PC, now I'm scared to try them XD
