    I'd got one last week for $84. It should be here next week. Thank you for your review. It's based more on reviewing the product and what it differentiates, as opposed to the creator chatting about nonsense, and showing off their shooting. You're review gave me more peace of mind than the others have. Preciate it

    I had just gotten used to the G45 trigger but love the GPT. Best $100 upgrade for sure.

    Works in Gen4 variants too as they include a Gen5 slide cover plate.

    I’ve been running 1 for several months at Idpa in a G17 Gen5. I lightly polished bearing surfaces before installing. With the Oem dot connector & Oem striker & striker spring, I get a smooth true 3.5lbs. The main thing I like is the sight picture doesn’t twitch when this trigger breaks, versus the stock trigger setup which cause a noticeable twitch at break. I’m an LE Inst. & shoot Master Idpa. Big👍🏻from me.

      I always laugh at the "must be installed by certified glock armorer". RUclips has pretty much made that unneeded.

    How does it compare to the Canik triggers?

    Need help man! Ive got a gen 5 19 ccw..want to lighten the trigger pull, so i thought about the 3.5 or 4.5 connector..then wondered if i should just get a new trigger?? Which would you pick between this one and the pyramid 2.0? Also, thoughts on the double diamond vs the oem minus connector?

    I'm not sure what I did, but my G19X had a horrible 5.7 to 6lb pull out of the box. I then polish everything, from all the contact spots to the frame between the trigger bar, installed the flat faced OW Precision TAC trigger w/ bar, Master Trigger Spring Kit, 3lb black yikes connector, plunger & spring, etc. & I still had a gritty long 5lb pull.
    I then purchased the $179 Complete RMR cut SW4 Gatormouth cut Dagger Upper & slapped that sucka on & now I have a very smooth, short to the wall 2.7 to 3lb consistent short pull & very short positive reset.
    Needless to say, I'm running the Dagger Upper because of that trigger pull & it was cheaper to buy a complete Upper than send mine off for milling. I wanted an open sight upper & a Green Dot upper. (HE407c x2) She's a beast, reminds me of my 1911.
    There is zero wiggle room between the upper & lower, it's snug & runs much better without failure using the SS 15lb recoil spring. I would have issues with the 17lb recoil spring, the rounds kinda flopped out & I had failure to eject issues. The 15 resolved all of those issues. Now those spent rounds fly out fast at the 4 O'clock position.
    I also installed the G-Sap front gap adapter.

      So you polished the factory shit.... then replaced the factory shit... after buying a gun... and then all of the parts in it were replaced...
      My brother in christ... you could have simply made a custom glock from the ground up out of those parts kits, and all you would have needed was a spring and pin kit. O.O cheers.

    i understand this trigger system is for gen5 glocks .. but is it possible to install this on a gen4 glock by just replacing the slide cover with one designed for gen5 glock? thanks alot

    Just fyi, there has never been a case where a light trigger “looked bad to a jury” or ever been used to prosecute anyone. As soon as you take the safety off a 1911, you have a sub 3lb trigger. Magically it’s ok? Anyways, real heavy triggers are no bueno and will make pull shots and hit someone. Good video overall.

    My question is, what keeps the sear from falling is the guns is dropped? It's basically the same trigger as Timney. reluctant to buy one because of this. Anyone have any issues with sear falling with hard hits?

    • @glockbaby9
      @glockbaby9 9 месяцев назад +3

      That’s what the safety plunger is for. Even if the seer dropped and the striker goes forward it’s impossible for the gun to fire.

    • @Radvous
      @Radvous 6 месяцев назад

      The trigger bar itself will lock the sear in place to prevent the sear from falling, until the trigger is pulled. When the trigger is pulled, the trigger bar will move out of the way to allow the sear to drop and release the striker. So that's the drop safety. Additionally, the firing pin stop will prevent the firing pin from hitting the primer unless the trigger is pulled. When the trigger is pulled, again, this will move the firing pin stop out of the lock position to allow the striker to pass by the firing pin stop and hit the primer.

  • @Radvous

    The trigger bar is steel, not aluminum..

    I love my Glock 19 Gen5 but I hate the trigger. After polishing (by professional) and changing connector it dropped from 5.5 to 3.5 pounds which is great /way better. But from the wall to going bang it's still smooshy -mushy it's awful. Plastic? From CZ, Walther to H&K, Canik...all of them are polymer guns with excellent triggers - compare to Glock. It's just disappointing. I hope that Performance will solve the problem.

      It's a little better than Gen5. I put one on a 47 Gen5 MOS. Breaks at 90deg, takeup is shorter than stock, reset is shorter than stock. Is it as good as a factory CZ P-10 trigger? No. It's better than a factory Gen5 trigger, though.
