Lance reminds me of my Dad, with the loss of a hand, he never gave up raised three children, and supported a family. He passed on at the age of 99. Lord BLESSING LANCE...
God Bless you both! I wish my son in law had known men like you guys. Maybe he would have trusted God. And when he fell dead I could be assured that he had accepted Christ.
It was so nice to meet Lance, our brother in Christ. Perhaps you should have him on a podcast where he could share his testimony. The two of you make a great team, and I'd like to see you together again on a future episode of the Yawt Yawt show. Knockin' heads, and feedin' familes!
This is Lance’s dad - he goes through a lot with Phantom pain every day - except for the ones closest to him you would never know it. I am so thankful that God gave him a job that he is really good at and he loves it! David was one of the best and hard-working young lineman on my crew. Their greatest asset is they love the lord🙏👍
@@jameswatson4110 Hi James!! Thanks for sharing more of Lances story!! You are absolutely right, Lance, David, and the first commenter Cliff, their greatest asset is Loving our Lord! I was in a terrible car accident when I was 17 years old and now 50 years later, if I wouldn't of believed/loved in our God, I have no idea where I would be today! I just know, it wouldn't of been a happy place! Have a Great Day!!! 🤗♥️🙏🏼
God bless U, Lance.♥️♥️♥️ Thank U, for your testimony. I AM always Amazed at how God, takes what seems to be a Tragedy and turns it into an AMAZING story of survival and a Blessed situation! It was great meeting Lance and hearing his testimony. He’s a miracle! Knowing what God has done for me and what great things God has done for Lance and other people is nothing short of awesome. We serve an awesome God! And what a huge sow. I couldn’t hardly believe it. Cool video 👍❤️

So glad to hear your friend is doing so well. I worked for the utility in New Orleans when Katrina hit. We spent 14 months in temporary housing in Mississippi trying to get things back to something like normal. We could never have done it without all the brave linemen who risked their lives. People have no idea what that job entails and that you guys are first responders too. I pray for all the linemen every time there is a storm. Thank you.
Hey David! That’s a big hog! Is that the mother of all hogs? Congratulations on getting the hogs! That’s awesome!!! That’s so awful about your friend. Thank God he’s still here. God has a reason for everyone of us. God Bless you all!!! 😊
Yawt yawt hearing lances story hit hard for me having gone through some heart issues my self here the last three years. Sometimes the lord has other plans for you when he sends you in another direction. I wake up and thank him everyday for another morning of letting me take another breath above ground. God bless both of y’all 🙏
My daddy retired from Virginia Power (VEPCO) after 43 years. I remember how things are during a big storm. We had one come through here while a union was on strike; but, some folks wanted to work. The money is great & it's an essential community service. At the time, my dad was a supervisor. We opened our yard and home for the crews to park their vehicles and have an operational base. I have deep respect for the work and electricity. God bless Lance and his family. As a survivor of Stage IV Grade 3 cancer, I sometimes wonder why I'm still here. Sometimes I feel like I mess things up more than I do good. 😜 I have 4 wonderful, successful children and 2 beautiful grandbabies. I do know that they get the best of me; and, I enjoy every single second I get with them! Thank you for always sharing your faith, wildlife adventures, family and friends with us. my mom raised 9 kids with one arm, I never knew what "handicapped" meant as she did more than any mom in the world. God Bless You BOTH! Got a chance to talk to a nephew of a mechanic I've known most of my life. He was starting out with the local co-op training to be a lineman and was on an underground job and was told to go on in the ditch that the line(s) were dead by TWO ENGINEERS and got blown right back out. Young and tough and had to have some surgeries and whatnot but went right back at it. I asked him if he'd been listening to any more engineers and he grinned really big and shook that head NO. Really appreciate meeting (so to say) your friend Lance and it goes to prove that the natural environment is a great healer to all that life throws at us. You didn't get to show the guard on the top of the trap to stop the hogs jumping - maybe I missed it and as I always watch back I will catch it then. The expression 'second hand doesn't come with all the hands' is one I shall borrow when selling 'pre-owned' equipment! It's a good one. Forgive the observation but please take care of your health - I know (personally!) that easily getting out of breath is a sign for attention.
Wow! This lance fellow is awesome! He's got to be tough as nails and to be honest I never would have noticed his arm until you pointed it out. He is very inspiring!❤
I'm going to have Glen Campbell's song, Wichita Lineman, in my head for days now after hearing you talk about you and Lance working as linemen. I'm glad he at least survived that freak accident. He sure does seem to have adapted to doing everything with only one hand. Good for him! That sow was a good-sized pig. She won't win a prize for largest pig but you sure can get a lot of bacon and sausage out of her! I grew up on a farm and our sow had more piglets than she could take care of so we fed the runt with a baby bottle. He would scoot under the fence and come running up to our backdoor and grunt until we heard him and went out to give him his bottle and then he would run back to join his mama and his brothers and sisters. Because he did so much grunting, we called him Grunt-Grunt and he became our pet and when the day came that Dad was going to butcher him, we all started crying, begging Dad not to butcher him because we all said that we would never be able to eat Grunt-Grunt. So Dad (ahem) gave him to a man way out on a farm who would allow him to run free and live his best life. I hate to even think how long we believed that story and how long it took us to figure out that the mild-mannered farmer who provided him with a peaceful life probably butchered him before Dad even got back home from his farm. At least for a few years we were happy thinking that Grunt-Grunt was living wild and free on that far-away farm! Actually, the pork we ate that next winter may have been Grunt-Grunt but thankfully at the time that didn't occur to us, and Dad never mentioned his name again.
Blessed is the man who delights in God and meditates the law of Him .This man will be planted by the rivers of fresh water that brings for the fruits in season and its leaves never wither in season .Hallelujah .
Lance you're a damn good man, and the good Lord BLESSED you! I'm sorry to hear about your accident but it sure don't seem to stop you any!! Keep knocking them heads boys!! God bless!
Howdy Lance. Hey, I have 1 arm and a prosthetic leg. Still doing what needs it! Just a bit at a time gets it done. ❤ my first and most frustrating thing was trying to light a match. Figured out to fold it under so it could rub on the sandpaper stuff on the back. 😂 You are doing just dandy. ❤❤❤❤ (and cute, too....don't tell ur wife!)
Holy Moly! 274😮😳😳 No wonder your back hurts! Your friend, Lance seems like a really nice guy. Not to mention, easy on the eyes 😍😉 Have a Blessed Night 😊

You are doing just dandy. ❤❤❤❤ (and cute, too....don't tell ur wife!)
Thanks for sharing Lance's story
Thank you fir being here
Good to see you David. Nice to meet your friend. He is right. God has left him here. He is not finished on earth yet. Take care ❤

Lance said it right, keep your head in the right place, I'm also a victim of my head not in my work. Stay safe everyone.
Why a great guy and his story! Lance continues to work hard and lives for Jesus Christ!♥️
God bless you, and keep you safe Lance.
