There are some foes that take this more to heart than others though and end up having massive, hulking forms that not only take up the entire screen but sometimes even a whole in-game continent. Asuras wrath is one of the most visually insane games ever
Anybody who rated the game poorly because there was "too little gameplay" in it didn't really get what the entire point of this batshit insane game was.
"This boss just turned into a planet-sized Buddha and tried to crush me with his fingertip, but I used the power of rage to punch his fingertip so hard, the rest of his body disintegrated!"
"Wow, what a final boss fight!"
"THIS IS THE FIRST BOSS FIGHT!!!"
I spent nearly 3 hours battling Adamantoise in Final Fantasy XV until the big fellow finally gave it up.
He is a little Tirtle compare to Asura from Sayuki Journey West where his faces bigger than human.
Shoutout to The Kraken from Gears 5. It's essentially the Riftworm on steroids and you actually fight it twice.
I saw the Peter Austin thumbnail, there's no fooling me gang.
If I don't see some "Asuras wraith" bosses on this list then I demand a part 2!!

Ashrams Wrath and Bayonetta
does Dragon God from Demon's Souls count? So big you can't fight it yourself, but need ballistas
Also Grigori from Dragon's Dogma - pretty cool fight
It isn't as big as most of what's on this list but the Adamantoise in Final Fantasy XV is pretty damn big considering it's a literal mountain.

Definitely a case of creators having no sense of scale, either that or they've never seen that wax figure of Robert Wadlow. He would be over three heads taller than his own men if that measurement was legit. He would also be the tallest dude in Playstation All-Stars. The old Death Battle episode that had Kratos simply puts him at around 6 feet.
Guhnash from Fossil Fighters? It's so big it managed to devour entire planets and you kill it by killing its 3 brains
No Titan from Final Fantasy XVI? That's literally the size of a mountain, easily bigger than at least half of this list.

To bad you guys dont know the game Phantasy Star Online 2. There was a Boss who Consuming Life out of Planets and destroys them! After every Transformation he gets Bigger. That was a 3-4 Transformation Battle with almost 40min Battle Time in 1-10 Player Coop to have a Change. Thos game is out since 2012. Dont mix it up with the Consol Exklusive Phantasy Star New Genesis who released 2021 On Xbox Series X. This one is a open World RPG 1-33 Player coop with Hordes of enemys and Some Big Bosses between.
The Kirby game Planet Robobot had Star Dream, which was an entire planet much like Unicron.

Is Audra’s Wrath worth playing in 2023?
It was a game I was looking forward to at the time, but the on disc DLC and _true_ ending DLC kinda rubbed me the wrong way. But at this point, isn’t there a complete edition?
Asura;s Wrath is one of those games that's clearly not meant to be played for the story or any deep telling. Its more of a fun interactive work of art than anything else. Make of that what you will. I'll say that because its art style is very stylised, the game's visuals hold up quite well in my opinion.
