  • Printing with the ADOX Polywamtone emulsion on textiles! A product with a long crazy history, finally came to life in a form which allows limitless creativity! It can be coated on bricks, papers, even walls! But in this video, I am focusing on textiles. I made a bunch of prints on tote bags, pouches and jackets from 35mm film, with a lot of mistakes along the way... and this is how this video came to life :) The emulsion itself is soooo beautiful. Sharpness, depth of blacks, and the legendary warm tone.

You can 3D print a cover for the sous vide to block the light from the display or put an empty photo paper bag over it.

They had one of those cooking devices at a local discounter for 50 Euros, which then was discounted to 35 Euros. At some point I could not resist anymore and at whilie paying I realized it was already further discounted but not labeled as so. So I left the store and just paid 20 Euros. :D So even if its not ideal its okay I think.
I got it for the C41 process, but still did not manage to purchase a dev kit again. xD

( Hint: he also sells 'ready to go" plates, pre-coated).

Sometimes, those alternative processes can be a lot of work, but the results you get out of them are topnotch :D Carbon printing is probably the worst for complexity, that and wet plate. If you've seen Borut Peterlin's channel, he goes to crazy lengths to get a print!!! Mad guy, though!!! :D :P Knows his stuff. Thing with carbon printing is its resiliency. Just a pity it can be a PITA to accomplish!!!
Ooh, I was just thinking...maybe there's some spray on, or, something you could coat your prints with that will protect them. Like a layer of silicone or something similar? Might be something to look into, see if there's anything like that around.

As long as it can keep the water at 45 degrees Celsius, it should work. I have been using a darkroom warming tray from kaiser (old equipment) with a water bath on top. But the thermostat in that is not stable enough so I'm replacing it with a Cinestills gizmo.

Here are the instructions m.adoxphoto.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/PW-instructions-EN_img.pdf , and most of the info you get there (and in my video!). I honestly don't really know where else to look for info, I learned everything by trial and error. It's not awfully difficult.
All chemicals, except emulsion hardener, are regular ones for normal printing!

lina, a quite interesting variation of a process called 'silk_screen_printing", but here, a photo is made onto a silk screen, and ink is spread onto the cloth through the screen, processing of the screen makes holes where the exposed parts were, and leaves the rest, ink flows through, and makes a "positive", like darkroom enlargers do.
