Darkroom Double Exposure Prints From Two Negatives Tutorial
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 4 окт 2024
- Double exposures are beautiful and surreal, and in this video we are learning how to make a print from two medium format negatives, using only one enlarger. The method I am using is not the simplest one, but it allows greater control over printing results. If you have two enlargers, it will be extra easy! I am explaining how I did the double exposures of my previous works, and sharing the dodging/burning techniques.

Thank you for supporting my work !
The solarisation really added the extra 'something' and turned a technically interesting print in to something to go on a wall. Congratualtions also on a clear and complete explanation of a rather complicated process. Good job all round in fact.
Thank you ! I love this video / your approach and explanation is so clear and helpful (and practical) :-)
When you get your final print I recommend scanning the print or copy the print with a camera so you can make more prints from it without starting over.
I admire what you do. I always hated working in the darkroom.
This is wonderful. I’m going to have to give this a go at some point. Thanks for the video.
Thank you! And good luck!
Lina, I love you! And your movies. They are extremely inspiring!
Great stuff Lina, my brain is zooming along at a pace with the darkroom, the 35mm camera and taking pictures actually on a film camera, a first year photography student in amazement of your tutorial, Thank you, I have a free day on Friday darkroom hopefully all to myself, I need two go through images I think will give me a little start.
You got me going Lina
PS: only had 4 weeks shooting film and processing it, in for a penny in for a pound.
I will let you know how I get on
This is awesome! Will watch right now.
Thank you for the support!
@@linabessonova can't wait for your solarization tutorial
Hi Lina! Amazing video! Very interesting! So great to see your fantastic results!
12:53 OMG That was so long time ago! I can't believe I immediately recognized the print and got a flashback -- you had shown it online and described the process years and years ago.
Thanks for the video! I'm not printing, but always happy to know more about the process.

Thank you so much for your support and following my work for so many years
I love how you explain these technical concepts. Just got through recommending your video on choosing b&w film.
Thank you!
Cool info as always, Lina. Thank you for sharing. I haven’t seen your experiments for a while since I left Tik Tok.
These double exposures are Great
love the experimentation!
Great video Lina. I always enjoy your videos and techniques. I really hope you keep sharing your knowledge on RUclips.
Thank you, I'm happy my videos are useful!
I've been trying to make some Jerry Uelsmann-inspired prints. It's been great fun thinking of scenes not how they'll look, but what I could add to them instead. Great video
Great information thanks! For sure do a solarization video, even if there are others, it's such a mysterious process that for sure there are lots of different ways to do it.
Muy Bueno!!!! Muchas Gracias!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏
I ever doubt that I'll ever do this myself, but as always great to see you being passionate about what you do.
I'm the Dutch guy that was on the meeting in Frankfurt a/M 25th of June, I've sent you on Facebook a message with something that might be useful for Silvergrain articles :) I think you haven't seen it, it might be in "message requests"
Thanks for sharing.
Hello, Lina! I hope you are doing well.
nice! :)
Круто! Осталось только достать мамию с полки и вытащить себя из дома!
Hi Lina,
Absolutely loved the tutorial. Was waiting for this to be uploaded. What is the easel you are using? So, minimalist!
Happy you liked it! The easels I made myself, It's a prototype. I will hopefully start selling them next year!
@@linabessonova Nice Design. Looking forward to the product
@@linabessonova oh, very cool
Bravo! Double exposures are a very stimulating technique to create meaningful images. Watch the Jerry Uelsman’s work to see how a superbe technique and an unleashed fantasy can create amazing pictures.
