      Awesome! Glad you find this useful. I'm trying to release a video once a week. This last week was delayed due to the holiday...but it drop here pretty soon. Be sure to ask questions!

      @lordoftheturps9337 no I do not. I'm not a professional tuner, my day job and family keep me busy enough. If you're having a specific problem feel free to ask...might trigger me to make a video. On occasion I will do a zoom/google meeting to help people get squared away on something specific.

    I really like all your info! Could you upload this comparison sheet with the graphs to your google drive? I'm running a holley termx with 6l80 control and HPT doesn't have this built in like the 4L holley trans stuff does. Thank you

    My boosted cam and converter 6l80 is hitting rev limiter only at wot 1-2, 2-3. Under light load it’s fine. Only at wot won’t shift slams limiter.

    Hey maybe you can help me out. We put a stall in a c6, i used blue cat to set shift points. It worked quite well. Left the rest stock. Took it for a dyno tune and the tuner left my shift points since we knew they worked. All he changed was disabled discrete shift mode, and reduced the shift times under torque adder. Then at the track it would short shift on its own into 4th, and tap up mode no longer would hold gears. I get that blue cat is only going to get it close, but it shouldnt be that far off, and from your videos i dont see any reason the shift times or discrete mode would affect scheduling in any way. Any ideas?

      Sounds like you just need to copy over pattern A to pattern B and TUTD for both WOT RPM and MPH.

    • @gone.fishin9039
      @gone.fishin9039 11 месяцев назад

      @SilverSurfer77 ill try that, it didnt shift on its own until after the dyno tuner changed the times. I see factory gm has the tap up wot mph at 0 for some reason.

    • @SilverSurfer77
      @SilverSurfer77  11 месяцев назад

      @@gone.fishin9039 from the factory the TUTD will not shift on its own. I prefer that mine does, but not every likes that method. But if I read your statement correctly, you put it in sport mode at the track and the shift points changed...which seems like that would be a pattern A/B mismatch.

      @gone.fishin9039 11 месяцев назад

      @SilverSurfer77 what happened was after the dyno tuner made adjustments, but used my shift points, it shifted on its own in tap.up mode and very early as well.

    I have 2011 Yukon XL 2500 ECM, it came with 6L90e , for my swap project I need 6L80 , What should I change on the ECM to use the 6L80 instead of 6L90

    • @SilverSurfer77
      @SilverSurfer77  Год назад

      Should be a direct drop in. The 90 has a higher torque rating than the 80, so the factory calibration may be more aggressive for the 90 over the 80. As long as you start with the factory calibration and make small changes you'll be good.

      @@SilverSurfer77 Thank you very much , can you make a video for 6l90 to 6l80 tuning changes, I searched and none talked about it in RUclips, if you can't , should I just copy a 6l80 tune as it's from any 6l80 ECM , appreciate your support.

    • @SilverSurfer77
      @SilverSurfer77  Год назад

      @Haithamz just grab a factory 6L90 tune from the HPT repository and copy that over as a starting point. Once that is done, everything in my videos will still apply to the 90.
