Did you have any issues with it not making a full cup of coffee afterwards?! I descaled and now it's making half a cup - could it be the air pocket? This was SUPER helpful.
After I did a clean as you recommended, I dabbed some wet tissue paper up where the machine punctures the coffee pods & it had a lot of coffee grinds residue on it. Is there any way to clean that properly as well?
Once it completes it should exit cleaning mode on its own. You can try to unplug and plug it back in but if you're having trouble I would call Nespresso customer service
I usually clean once a week and descale every 3ish months. You can always clean before and after descaling but maybe just wait a bit so you don’t overheat the machine. I hope that helps! Thanks for watching 😊☕️

I do use a cleaning product for the descale! I have two videos with how to do this on my channel 😊☕️ This video is just the weekly cleaning to keep the machine in good working condition. I hope this helps

Yeah, I have both! I got the plus on Facebook marketplace for $30 though ! I like both but have also been lucky that my next is a good one. A lot of people have reported problems with the next leaking but only the next and pop can use the XL size pods so depending on what you want could be a risk work taking.

Nespresso tell me I have to clean my machine every second day(!) even though I am using filtered water. Does anyone else have the problem of the amber light coming on and the machine refusing to dispense the coffee? It’s become a bit of a lottery as to whether I get a cup of coffee or not or whether I just have to throw the pod away Thanks Sue
they don’t tell u this but the pods can make 2 cups of coffee! but i like to use half of it the second time! once it becomes watery i move my cup and just catch the rest and throw away! also mine was like your saying but i noticed if you keep your water full it doesnt stop working as much! so i never let it go to even halfway

I haven’t had that issue. Maybe try a factory reset? If that doesn’t work then I would contact Nespresso
I saw another video that said to press the button 5 times when it's open for the factory reset! Might help

I don’t think you can put the pods in your regular recycling bin you need the bag provided by Nespresso - unless that what you meant lol

My machine stopped working after I did this 😭
