THANK YOU!! I’ve owned my Nespresso machine for a year, and just did my first descaling cycle. The machine had a solid red light and I could not use it or figure out what the heck was wrong! Thankfully by watching your descaling & cleaning videos we did it together. I’m back in business and can’t wait to brew my next cup of coffee. 😊
I just got my machine a few weeks ago and am loving the coffee I have started cleaning my machine weekly
I use my machine several times per day from my big morning mug to some espressos during the day, so I find running a cleaning cycle with water daily when done with the machine will give the best result the next day.

Me either, when I got the Nespresso earlier this year I spent hours watching videos! Figured I’d make my own easy how to video!
I tried twice nespresso in a boutique and all pods tastes same coffee. Did you felt same prior cleaning or is the machine built this way?
I do a cleaning cycle like once a week and i use the Nespresso everyday.

At 3:02 you say hold the start button for 3sec, but at 3:26 you tap the start button 3 times, tapping the button 3 times is the correct way of cleaning the vertuoplus. So I assume you misspoke when you said "hold" the button for 3 sec?
Yes, it’s press it 3x quickly not hold for 3 sec..😬

When i push clean it just turns red and doesnt clean and when i go to brew espresso it runs up to 2 cups. I dont understand
What if after you clean your machine and you also descaled it the red and green light is still on on the top but I have the same machine you’re using so I was going to clean it one more time I guess have you seen that happen before thank you my name is Helen

I just cleaned my Vertuo plus on Friday and today the coffee tastes and smells terrible. I notice coffee puddling up around the outside of the capsule brewing holder, as well. I'm not sure what's happening.

I prefer vinegar than chemical cleaner, I mix vinegar and pure water, done it for few years on my original Nespresso and no issue so far.

Medalavi, do you use a certain ratio of vinegar to water? I would prefer the vinegar too.
This is just a cleaning cycle with water from machine. You don’t add chemicals or vinegar, it’s just a flush of the system.
@@suzyq6406 I usually do a cup of vinegar then add water, you just want to do that when going through a descaling option not cleaning cycle, I also run water when descaling finished
Medalavi, thank you very much. I have run the cleaning cycle just using water. When it is time for me to descale I am going to try the vinegar. Just so I understand, I use a cup of vinegar and fill the rest of of the tank with water, or a cup of straight vinegar, run it with no water, and when done, run a water cycle. I am guessing option one, as I am thinking straight vinegar would be too acidic. Thank you.
How you clean where insert the pods? You can’t just took off and wash it 😢
I just use a damp clothes or paper towel to wipe it down.

Hi! I just got the Vertuo plus on Christmas. The first couple cups were absolutely perfect! But now, the crema taste a little strange. I’ve done two full cycles hoping that would fix the problem but no luck. It’s only the crema garaging strange. If I scope it out, the coffee does not taste funny. Have you or anyone ran into this issue ?
Congrats on getting a Nespresso. Hmm the crema does tend to taste a bit bitter, are you using the same capsule or different ones? Have you tried mixing the crema into the coffee? I do scoop it off some coffee that I don’t like the way it taste. Depending on the capsule you use some crema may taste better than others.
Use a spoon to mix the crema into the coffee and let it settls
Do you use regular tap water to clean it?
No I use filtered water, not sure if it would make a difference. 🤔
When I descale, my water is very clean but I still think my coffee tastes worse than when we first got Nespresso Vertuoline 2 years ago.

My coffee is bitter but I just got the Nespresso machine. I cleaned it twice do you know what else it could be?
You can try removing the crema(foam), sometimes that make it taste bitter. Could also be your taste buds are not use to the Nespresso coffee and make take time to adjust.

I use single cup coffee maker cleaner, should I use Nespresso descaling kit?
I’m not sure if Nespresso descaling kit has a special ingredient vs other brands. Probably best to contact Nespresso customer service. You can send them a msg over FB and they can help you.

My nespresso keep running water. What can i do?
You can trying resetting the machine. It should be in the manual how to do it.
Also, not true about the vinegar if you had any idea how many machines other than coffee machines get clean with vinegar you would be amazed trust me it will be fine..

Samething! I sent for repairs and I recieved it back still not working! Even though they said they fixed issue. No they didnt. Im not happy.
