I had this one violin teacher for a short while when I was around eight or nine and he was the best one I had ha up until then even though he was a college kid teaching violin as a part time job (i think). I don’t remember well but I think he had to quit the job to focus more on his studies, but before he did, he taught me so much. To my eight year old ears, he played like Paganini. I’m thirteen now and this is still my favorite piece and I play it as one of my warmups.
I love that! I'm also a college student studying violin and music composition, and I teach violin lessons part time at a very nice local music studio. I love being able to share my love of music with others!
Wow. This masterpiece reminds me of my childhood when I repeatedly kept on playing the 1st and 3rd movements by heart because I looved it soo muchh. Now after many long years having found this...I just feel like getting my peaceful violin out once again and start playing this with still the same passion as back then:D thank you so much for sharing!

This is my favourite violin piece. Last week I had violin lesson, and my teacher asked me the most beautiful piece I knew. I took this one, placed in front of me, and started to play the 1st and the 2cond movement with orchestra accompaignement. After these two movements the music stopped.
