Hi Margaret - thanks for another great episode (both of them)! What a lovely tribute to your parents - the source of your creative spirit and ingenuity, it sounds like. I always appreciate it when you include a little recital for us - heaven! A tip about jogless joins: check out PattyMac’s tutorial on RUclips. She knits the first row of the new color as required by the pattern (no lifted stitch). On the second row, she lifts the leg of the stitch, but then knits the two stitches together. I used this technique on my Sunday Shrug last year and it seemed to work. As for what’s on my needles, I’m knitting the Cumulus Blouse by Petite Knit in sumptuous Boboleros yarn. I’m holding one strand of an alpaca/silk blend with one strain of mohair and it is soft and squishy beyond my wildest dreams! The beautiful drape and body that the yarn creates is perfect for this project. I knit at Small World Coffee in Princeton and so many of the students have exclaimed over the color - a beautiful apple-green shade. I hope to have it finished in time for Cake! ❤
Hello there and thank you for watching!! Oh I am such a Sari Nordlund fan...and omg the Book Club Cardigan is one of my favorites! Those cables--such a classic sweater. What kind of yarn are you using and color? Much love!
Good morning, meant to say I love your Chopin segment! I’m using the Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Worsted Weight in the colorway Hollyberry. I’m also showing my progress on my The Island Lamb podcast. Happy September and happy fall 🧶
@@theislandlamb oh thank you so much for saying those words about the Chopin. I really appreciate it. I’m so thrilled to learn that you have a podcast and that you’re sharing the progress. I will watch right away. You are amazing.💕💕💕
Hi gorgeous Felicia! Holy cow...I just looked up the Secret Garden sweater...It is exquisite. Wow!! One of the most intricate designs I've seen. Bravo...you're my hero! What colors are you using?
what i do not like of the Shrug is the fitting on the neck. I did some beautiful fiber and colors..... but i frog them for the part on the neck. I can't go over it...
You’re amazing too and so talented. Love this RUclips community.

It’s so true about jam.
Right??? Where have all the good jams gone?
I’m working in the Secret Garden sweater by Elena Mortensen. Taking me forever, as I bit off a bit more colorwork than I’ve ever done. But I love it.

@@vale251 do you do a special neckline? I know she has some modifications that include decreases along the neckline so it doesn’t fall..
