Mike Elko has said multiple times that this team is no where near a finished product. I loved what we saw today. Totally different offense, and the defense looked aggressive for a spring game. Elkos got 4 months to get this guys into elite shape, and fluid with the new play calls. Give them time before saying we look bad.
Ever heard a coach say his team is actually a finished product?

This was the worst Spring game they have ever had. Weigman looked horrible. The Oline play is horrible. Even with the cakewalk schedule they have this year I worry they end with a winning record.
The defense looks much improved. The scheme in the secondary is 100% better. I don’t believe there were many three man fronts either.
@@Haterade888What? Weigman is still hurt but had the 2nd team o line with none of the top receivers. The O-Lines still played good considering what they were up against. They are clearly more disciplined, physical, and bigger. The entire team only had 1 pre snap penalty the entire game which is major.
#11 on the end is really damn good, dude talked so much shit during a highschool game I played against him when he was at Bryan but glad to see he wasn’t all talk
Marcel Reed is the real deal
We dont see the practices but Marcel Reed looks like he has more to offer than Weigman. Even though they lost I was impressed in the bowl game
@@markbassett6357 how so? I think Marcel is good but even under Jimbo’s trash offense Weigman was on pace to putting together Heisman numbers last season before he got hurt.
@@chukwubuikemewelike2028better legs and QB reads and arm their equal and Marcel got 3 years left both good but more upside with Reed is this offense

Scourton (#11) is awesome
Punter looked great, he was able to get on the field eleven times.
Hope A&M has a good year, always rooting for aggies or other Texas teams until the horns come into town
Need to get Owen’s more carries. Him and moss 1a , 1b hopefully they let him do his thing. Bringing in that smith kid was unnecessary when you have a good backfield already
Player's get injured, Moss wasn't playing all the time last year.

I wish these announcers would announce the game. People want to know the names of the players. Instead, they talk about the athletic department. They talk about ridiculously things while the play is going on. Who cares? Announce the name of the players that made the play. Talk about the game.

I mean A&M’s athletic director joined the call, so obviously then they’re gonna be talking about the department. Not to mention the commentators are commentators for all A&M athletics get your point but this is what you get with spring

@@derrickmorian6376 there were new players that transfered into the program. They were new recruits playing. This post has many thumbs up. Many wanted to hear their names. Where they came from. Sorry, it was just very unprofessional. For you it's ok to do that announcing a game. What if professional announcers got an athletic director and did that for 30 minutes during a regular season game. And just stopped announcing the game. Why did fans tune into the game then? To hear about the athletic department.
Wish Aggies would get Andrew Boddie from Alabama State if possible. Thank me later

The DBa look way better than the last few years..ngl losing E Stew hurts Big time. The tu WR room looks like our DL comparatively #loaded unfortunately still 11-2
if Texas A&M has gotten to the point where Desmond Howard can’t trust them after picking them for the playoffs 2 straight years with a stacked roster then that’s how you know your program is in shambles. I don’t think anyone trusts A&M until they win a primal game

@@hunterharrison4664 well Notre Dame went a measly 8-4 last year so not saying it ISN’T a step in the right direction but they have another new system to adapt to.

Wow!! IMO Reed had longer drives, but, Henderson had better throws and I believe ended up with more yardage. Reed ran a lot which a few times he was actually sacked or tackled but refs didn't call it. Reed better 1st half, Henderson better 2nd half with overall better throws, and keep in mind he's recovering from an injury too. Weigman went up against the less experienced defense, so, I'm not quite sure what happened.
Defense will be fine , OL is the biggest challenge …they need to have their starting 5 in mind to start fall camp and give them reps together

defense looks good offense needs work with Conner at the helm but we will beat the hell out of Norte DAME
Offense is still a work in progress which is expected considering completely new staff Moss and Owen’s look great, there are some good receivers looking forward to the fall

As good as the defense looked, the offense still put almost 400 yards on them. This was as balanced a performance you can get from a spring game tbh. There’s really no way for both sides of the ball to look good.
These guys are not beating notre dame. I love Mike Elko but notre dame is on another level right now
