"Success is when others are shocked when you lose"
Who did you quote?
I don't think anyone was shocked that he lost. If anything they would be shocked at the way he lost.
@@sixjwiansnskakadorrect me if I am wrong but this was Rapid no?
Magnus loses all the time in Rapid. He is also only the third highest rated or something I believe.
So nobody would be shocked over a single loss.
Now a Blunder in a Super GM Game in generell.... That's rare.
@@eliasvonbrille he actually is the highest rated one
I’m not shock I think it’s funny he blundered
@@friedsushii_e is not. Or at least he wasn't when the Video came out. He had 2830 as you can see in the Video.
Fabiano was at 2860 at the time. So he was quite a bit behind.
And I am not sure Fabiano was the highest rated either.
He maybe the Goat, but he's also a Human
Just figured that out? Ha
Goats aren't humans man
Greatest of all time men hahahahaha you got me!
@@Godzkeys Unfathomably underrated comment! Really good! LOL
@@antonymakesvideos4244 in terms of consistency and quality of play, magnus is better.. but u can argue that he did not have access to modern engines, that's a different argument
No biggie. That's called being human.
No indeed, but it only takes so many times to be praised as a god before you believe it
This is when Magnus' IQ dropped from 200 to 190
he doesnt have IQ only elo :0
@@boxofcans461 no shit mr. Sherlock, it was something called irony.

nah bro my iq is like 100 but when i play chess i see alot of move
i liked his poker face after he realized he fd up...hoping for that 1 in a million chance his opponent didnt notice🤣🤣🤣
I do the same thing whenever I play 😅 if I make a mistake I try to keep a poker face like him and I’m lower rated so it works 😂
What is that world with the B?
Magnus had some serious seizures after realizing
Would u pls be kind enough to explain the blunder.
@@ahsaaschauhan8098
Someone can correct me if I missed anything bigger but Magnus brought the knight to the centre planning for an attack but didn't realize the only piece guarding his knight ( black queen ) can easily be pushed away by the white pawn that was moved to g4. Now the most reasonable move is to save your queen but whatever square Magnus would move his queen to, he would lose the guard on knight, get his queen taken or pushed even more if he tried to keep defending the knight with queen to f5.
*Long story short: he would be down a piece(knight) in a grandmaster lategame, drastically reducing his odds of actually winning*
@@randokaratajev2617 thank you for this explanation!

That finger tip touch on the clock by Artemiev is so precise, just like his moves on the board.

Magnus after blunder - 😏😉😅
Me after blunder - 😠😡🤬
11min vs 1 min blunder come on magnus
Magnus has been losing a lot and blundering way more lately in this past year. (2022) I think him streaming on twitch has taken a lot of stress off him but has made him to complacent and relaxed
Doesn’t at all look like he has become complacient. He was twisting in pain after the blunder
Still dominating all championships
Rapid and blitz
2022 for magnus is nothing but success
@@unknown-unknown69 Hahaha a champion never be a champion forever !
@@Harikrishna-kt6po and you'll never be a champion. Such is life.
@@dtrcs9518 My first comment makes sense lol.... Do you really think that a champion will be a champion forever?? Before 2013 magnus was not in the no.1 position.. Some other was in No.1... So life changes dude! I hope you can understand it....
Artimeive is a beast. He's not just some random GM.
no GM is random GM
U got balls u call a GM a random one 🗿
He is GM bro
You cant even a consider any gm a random one
Guys by random gm he’s talking about the gms that peak rate 2500 and are constantly getting crushed by kids
To people not understanding: Queen can't save the knight, because if queen f5, then pawn to g4 hitting the queen and then Artemiev has not only a free knight, but a better position as well
Thanks for explaining! Couldn’t he just try and play down a knight? Instead of doing a queen swap that also costs him a rooke? That’s what I would’ve done but I’m a beginner lol so idk what the thought process here is…
I'm curious, do most people who play chess casually follow what's going on in these types of videos? I like chess, but never really took the time to really learn it well, so I usually have no idea what's going on, but I still find myself fascinated by it
Things move much too fast for me to fully grasp everything that’s going on. But it’s impressive
It is not easy, but you have to work with the information you got. The knight move is a blunder. Why? The black queen has to defend the knight. But white can chase the queen away with his pawns. Pause the video after the blunder and try to find the solution yourself. If you don’t find it, look at how the game unfolds. (You see that the queen get chased away.) It gets easier with practice.
so he left the queen unprotected, then she had move because it was being chased by pawns forcing a queen trade leading to an endgame rook vs horse. Which in this rating is just a lost game
Same stuff my man!!
If you played chess you would care how they played it.
If anything, let this be a reminder that even the best of the best can also make mistakes.
The only thing that seperates them from average is the ability to learn from those mistakes.
Let that be your chessly inspiration of the day :)
I need a explaination video 😂
😂😂
Yes😂
Yes
yah 😂
Mee tooo
Blunder got me more dead than the queen of england
Those expressions after he blunders are hilarious!
It was subtle, but you can tell he was upset with his play.
This is why I love human chess, more than ai chess. A human champion may lose, because he is human after all.
But AI’s also lose at chess :D
Magnus - ' I'm only human after all '
Time difference on clock
For those who don't understand the blunder that the knight will be gone by attacking queen
It’s literally impressive when he fucks up, that’s how admired Magnus is.
I almost didn’t understand why that was a blunder. Also his recovery was amazing. He should have went for a draw. This reaction is proof that chess is not only a game of wits but emotion as well.
Bitaw lagi uy makalibog usahay ba
He's not going to draw in that game
is this what they call chess blindness? when you’re so good at seeing every possible move that you totally pass over the basics sometimes?
I thought of f4 but I'd never play f4 against MC. He'd still beat me with some desperado endgame technique.
The best feeling is when you do a massive blunder but at end you win.
I have not blundered like this before bc all my blenders end up my opponent up two pieces at least or up a queen
congrats i guess?
You’re able to blunder 2 pieces at once? Congrats, that’s possible but quite rare
Meanwhile me searching for the blunder
Rook is blunder
Its when we fall down, we learn to pick ourselves back up! Gg magnus.
To people who are still wondering whats d blunder, you're not alone
Thanks; ANY news(/updates)...?
The queen cant defend the knight, because all squares controls white pawns. So the game lose for black
@@Woisy_original wow, thanks.
so just because the knight was not protected, the whole game could be defined since then?
@@gili4200Yes. This game was played on a high level tournament, and just one piece (knight or bishop and more) can to decide the outcome of the game. What is more, even if you lose 1-2 pawns, game may be lost.
From now on I will remember this to boost my self confidence whenever I make a blunder. In other words five or six times in every game.
Gm sekalipun jg manusia biasa yg tidak luput dari kesalahan
Tetap semangat GM magnus carlsen

Very good. Nice to see an educated man on RUclips.
@@AnthonyWilliams-ew3wp pleased to make your acquaintance, fellow erudite. 🧐😆
What?
No one is perfect. Sometimes we all make mistake that we suppose not to.
But in life, we should make ourselves perfect no matter what despite all
the strange thing is that Magnus was really not under time pressure when he played the blunder.
when you lost all your 25 moves plan ahead
This proofs that we all make mistakes, whether ur a God at the thing or not.
They should play till end.. people like us won't understand why did he give up
Can anyone explain what would be his next moves
The rook is stronger than the night .5 value beats 3.5. On this level no need to try.
Watching Magnus make simple mistakes really makes me happy cause I make mistakes all the damn time lol

@@Inksploded please throw your opinions elsewhere
His opponents favorite moment when he goes into facial expression mode. 😂 😢 😴 🤔
We all had that moment in our life 😂
Am I the only one who see Tyrion (game of thrones charector) when magnus smiles wide
After the other guy realizes the blunder and goes f4, Magnus has to either let go of The knight or the queen because:
1. if he saves the queen from the pawn then he is basically removing the knight's only defender, that is the queen. He can go to C5 with the queen still protecting the knight but then pawn to B5 will be next, which will force magnus to again move the queen ceasing to defend the knight.
2. If he moves the knight then queen gets taken by the pawn.
I still just realized that in this way the queen would make an extra pawn move and lose the knight, but no more.
Someone explain me please🥺
Losing the Knight is enough for Magnus to lose the game. In a game between Grandmasters, where 1 pawn difference is often enough to win, having an entire extra piece is almost certainly a win.
Magnus tried to count his losses by offering the Exchange instead, losing Rook for Knight, but keeping the number of pieces equal. Unfortunately, a Rook Vs a Knight with no help from the Knight's King is almost always a win for the Rook
To lose the knight was the worst decision he could ever made!
@@8kicke his decision wasn’t to lose the knight lol that is the result of his blunder
@@TheKyleBrah basically this is correct. Losing a Knight is a big disadvantage. Although I would say that Magnus is acting too emotionally. Chess can be won via positioning even when losing in points.
@@bboycrosel
Of course. Positional Compensation can easily make up for a loss of material.
It didn't help at all in this game, though
Blunders are only mistakes,,, champions are always champions
Did you see GM Nodirbek at the end
Let this be proof that Magnus knows when he's playing a person vs a computer, Hans. He's even stated he doesn't play computers because they don't make mistakes and their play is heartless, where he plays people for the interaction of the mind
"Name esa banao ki agar kabi har bhi jao to Jitne vale jyada charche apke ho🔥✨"
Wait... Is this an alternate universe??
Magnus always the best
It’s hard to believe he’s the same kid from the sixth sense 😂
Wish I could understand why that's a blunder
The knight there only had the queen for support, but as you can see the queen can be pushed away with the pawns. Anyway he played he was going to be down on material
Most would have lost more. But even while on damage control he was down an exchange. Meaning he lost a rook for a knight. It translated to losing a pawn and soon losing another. Which means his opponent would have an easy time making another queen soon. Game over.
After exchanges he ended up with knight against a rook in endgame which is bye bye
His opponent was like wait a minute is it really what he did or is he tricking me 😂
Ur still human Magnus ...but still ur the king of chess
A Magnus blunder is still better than my best move I've ever played in a match.
Whos the bro in white in the back
awkwardly looking at Magnus when he resigns
I’m confused why did he not just move the queen to c5 or a safe spot
The blunder was not about the queen, but his knight instead, if he moved his queen aside, the knight will be given free, so he tried to make the best trade at that position.
Es muy raro que alguien le gane; pero hasta los genios como Carlsen pierden de ves en cuando
Magnus=class
Meanwhile me: wondering🤔 who won that match?
People talk about him like he's not human and never fks up.
still confused why theyre shaking their hands. for me the game was not done.

his face is saying: am I playing with the world champion?
Even more so shocking the blunder he made at the barber when they asked him how he wanted to have his hair done.

Hard work karne se hamare blunders ke bhi shorts aate he, pata na ho to batadu☺️
Best move for Carlsen in this position RC5
Great showcase of being a human afterall
His blunders are my skills.
I'm still so bad at chess I don't really know what he did wrong and can't immediately work out why he retired at the end
he put the knight in front of the queen and therefore the knight was protected only by a queen and the queen could be pushed with a pawn so he basically gave him a knight
@@Gafnner but what happened at the very end though
Did magnus give up or did he offer draw i don’t understand

after all those trades why did he play knight d6 instead of c5? that would allow him to protect his pawn and also threaten the white pawn
