For me, it's the clash of the rugged wildness of the werewolf and ice boots/steampunk with the classiness of a sophisticated butler. I'm not used to that and I love it.

Wriothesley is a wolf-man with ice punchies. Lyacon is man-wolf with ice kickies. Both have grey vests, red ties, and leather straps everywhere, and their gauntlets glow ice. I cannot unsee it now. Lycaon is Wriothesley's fursona. /jk (and before you say anything I know Lucaon's design was out far before wrio's :D)
Don't forget Gallagher from Honkai Star Rail; is one of the Hounds (security on Penacony), compares himself to a dog/wolf all the time, and dresses similarly to both Lycaon and Wriothesley :P
Had to watch it in slow motion...but what I THOUGHT was a barehanded blade catch with that dagger is even cooler cause he catches it by the TIP with just his index and middle fingers pinching it before he casually flicks it at the next enemy....dude is cool as a cucumber during the whole fight.

The vocals, the instruments, the entire vibe is so fitting for this professional wolf butler (that can be expressive too just from his cute tail wag at the end.) I like to think the person singing in the background is him and UGHHH I just MELT, he's so handsome! I need the ost, NOW! 😭
Hoyo never misses with music. ZZZ is definitely gonna have its own style, but it's gonna be just as high quality as ever. Looking forward to when they drop the official tracks.

Y'all take a moment to watch the scene at 1:20 with slower speed to witness the beauty of the impact in the animations. Its like they cut the frames inbetween the start of the kick and the impact to make it hit so much harder.
Oh my god, I didn't notice that until now. This continues through the scene whenever he's able to actually land a full kick- It doesn't have the frame cut with the knife throw, or when he knees one of 'em in the face. That's actually genius

Furries, “step on me daddy”(gay and straight), and ppl who just like well made characters

I’ve just watched this last night and now I watch it religiously. Lol. I love that throughout the entire fight, Lycaon never once put his hands on the ground. He's a butler, he has to keep his hands clean!!

Ok, Lycaon's sheer gracefulness aside like we gotta talk about how they animate his attacks because those kicks look so fluid and masterful. Especially his EX special combo when they slow it down and show each kick leading into that high kick. Dont get me wrong hes hot but like his animations are a masterclass in how to make kicks look good in 3D animation, Hoyo are cooking

Every hoyo game is a huge upgrade on animation compared to the previous one. Genshin's rigs are really stiff and limited, star rail's have way more facial animation possibilities, and zenless has completely free rigs to squash and stretch the models at will
This character is the only reason why I got the game. I love werewolves and I hope someday in the future there will be more good games with playable werewolf characters.

Yo I slept on this series big time! I thought this was going to be another cash grab game, but the people behind this are clearly passionate. Also Lycaon is a definitive S+ tier character, he hits every checkmark: clean fighting style, amazing voice, good boi butler, and is a freaking wolf! He is everything I could want in a badass butler character.
The devs are listening to player feedback, too. They mentioned some of the things players have talked about in a recent dev face-to-face video. They have a lot more planned than what we've seen so far.

Ok, Lycaon's sheer gracefulness aside like we gotta talk about how they animate his attacks because those kicks look so fluid and masterful. Especially his EX special combo when they slow it down and show each kick leading into that high kick.
Dont get me wrong hes hot but like his animations are a masterclass in how to make kicks look good in 3D animation, Hoyo are cooking

Every hoyo game is a huge upgrade on animation compared to the previous one. Genshin's rigs are really stiff and limited, star rail's have way more facial animation possibilities, and zenless has completely free rigs to squash and stretch the models at will

Yo I slept on this series big time! I thought this was going to be another cash grab game, but the people behind this are clearly passionate. Also Lycaon is a definitive S+ tier character, he hits every checkmark: clean fighting style, amazing voice, good boi butler, and is a freaking wolf! He is everything I could want in a badass butler character.
The devs are listening to player feedback, too. They mentioned some of the things players have talked about in a recent dev face-to-face video. They have a lot more planned than what we've seen so far.
