- I hope you guys learnt something from this video to help protect more rabbits from this horrible disease. All the clips apart from the end ones of dandelion were clips taken before Lily caught myxomatosis. This video shows how the vaccine can save your rabbits life as lily who wasn't vaccinated (we were told that she had been vaccinated not long before we got her) had to be put down before she even showed any big signs that she had it and Dandelion was able to recover with medication.

Wow ! Loved this video 😍 this is a scary coincidence as I saw a wild rabbit out today with myxamatosis and i asked mum what it actually was 😱 it's so sad that it was brought by humans 😡this video was so informative 😊
PawsClawsScalesandTails thank you! :)
Thank you young lady. I was raised on a farm in Devon UK. We respected the wildlife but every 5 to 7 years myxomatosis would strike in all but a handful of the wild population of rabbits. It was so sad to see. You could walk up to a myxomatosis wild rabbit and it wouldn't run from you. We unwillingly pit the poor creature out of it's immense suffering. It was quite traumatic for everything involved. Obviously you can't vaccinate the wild population so those with a little immunity would repopulate within a couple of years. The only things to prosper were foxes and arable farmers. 😞
First like in video and can you do a meet all my guinea pigs video been waiting for a video for a long time
There is no vaccine in Australia D: my bun lives inside and EVERYTHING is covered with flywire.
My baby mini lop has myxomatosis and she struggles to breathe ☹️
ByeBitch 《 I understand your point but you dont have to be rude she is probs going through a lot!
@ByeBitch 《 it is not her fault that her rabbit is ill
Hey i have a question! What is your rabbit run brand/ what do you use. And can you let them out when ur at school or so. Will they escape or something???
Juls3210 Do you mean the enclosure that they live in or the blue run they have that goes on the grass?
@@furryfriends2834 The run?
Juls3210 they only go in their run when I am in the garden because we put it on the grass and they can dig out
