If you add in seasme oil into the marinade the eggs go bad quicker, if you don't add in the oil they are good for 3 days if stored in fridge. This is why most people add sesame oil on eggs after they take them out of the marinade.
Why does it only last 3 days? I've heard of normal pickled eggs being good for up to 4 months
@@kiinomiiblue6138 i dont think eggs itself go bad but other stuff? Also i guess maybe it coulf stay länger but its recomened 3 days? Why i guess might be bcs of diffrent culture like some people rarely eat leftover while for some every breakfest is leftover so i asume eggs whoud be eaten by 3th day anyway
Thank you :D
Crap should have looked at the contents before making this. I added Sesame oil
@@hungryguy560 autocorrect changed longer to länger? 😂
Nice hier einen anderen Deutschen zu sehen😅
if you leave the sesame oil out the eggs will keep longer in the frigde. Add the sesame oil when your serving. If you add 1 tsp black vinegar or vinegar it makes it even better.
Black vinegar 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
Black vinegar it is!
@@girliesuniega5796 Yes you get it from the Asian super markets. It can has a slight fruity flavour to it and is delisious
how long does it last in the fridge?
black vinegar in the marinade or as a drizzle with the sesame oil?
They can stay in the fridge for up to 5 days - pro tip put a sheet of paper towel over the top so that all the egg is covered - really so good. love adding these to my ramen throughout the week
I made this and it tasted so gooood. My brothers love it!
Leftnover marinate soy sauce you can mix with your favorite noodle. Or ramen. Eat with rice...or marinate 2nd patch of eggs after the first patachbis gone.
Oh I bet it could be great on fish or chicken
Or add it to fried rice
Bro how am I craving a food I've never even had before, and also I don't even like boiled eggs, but this may change my mind
Lol same
I'm just reading about adding the sesame oil. I'll do that next time. I actually just made this and I put the sesame seed oil in my marinade, but I don't intend on having these in my frig more than three days. I also added black vinegar and rice vinegar. My family does not like soft-boiled eggs, so they're hard-boiled.
I am making them for the first time. ❤
I am absolutely in love with sesame oil. It goes so good on everything lol
I even used it in hummus the other day when i found out half way through i had no tahini lol the toasted sesame oil added just the right flavor 😅
I make japanese seasoned eggs. And I like to use the marinade to make teriyaki. I'm sure you could do the same here
Oh how yummy I'm going to make that for my hubby tonight🎉
I made this for the first time and it’s delicious over rice!😋
I made these on Sunday and LOVE them. I did substitute an extra chili for the Korean green pepper, as I don't like the taste of green peppers, but man these are so good.
Oh no! I usually marinate for 2 hours during the day 😭 I knew something was off
2hrs or overnight
@@amandaconstanza Lol I read it just a joke😂
@@DEDEJL oops hehe
so easy to follow!! i loved my glorious eggs - 6 mins was perfect timing
From room temperature or just out the fridge for the eggs???? Important don’t you think??
Those look AMAZING!
Got my mom to try some of these last week. I made them for my spicy ramen and she ate them all😂.
Now we are making a while dozen for her to snack on.
Delicious, midnight snack
That’s looks so good.im gonna try to make it sometime.😊
I first had these at FUYU - Ramen and they were sooo good! I ordered 3 whole eggs with my ramen.
Flavor explosion! I love it
Marinate for 2hrs overnight 😂
Marinate 2 hours "OR" overnight.
stem college students
Some people only sleep for two hours
Maybe she lives near the arctic.
Looks good
You can leave the shell on too works fine takes longer less cooking required
That looks so goood, only thing I wouldn’t add is the honey I hate sweet
This week here is the balance the acid and salt so it doesn’t bite your tongue, it doesn’t make it sweet. I’ve had to learn that about Asian cooking too
Sometimes sugar is used as a spice
I like sweets but I don't like sweet if it's not dessert. I suggest still adding a tiny bit of sugar/honey.
Just add a little bit if you don't want what you cook is sweet. If I had to hasd to add sugar on my food I put a little but for me it taste a bit sweet so I have to make other flavors pop out.. spicy or sour.. since I like spicy nad sour food. Putting sugar just makes every flavor in balance that's why Asians put sugars in their food besides desserts.
What do you do of the leftover marination sauce?
I just had them for breakfast 😭 they were sooo good !!! But since I had dark soy sauce instead of the regular one ...I added it in 1:3 ratio with water . It's a must try for sure 🤍
but dark soy sauce has a completely diff flavor, it's mostly used for coloring
How long are they good for after making.
3-4 days. Beecause this recipe use fresh vegetables and doesn't boil the seasoning.
Sorry may be a dumb question but do you reheat them when you will eat them or do you eat em cold?
How long can we store it
I tried using the trader joe's everything but the bagel seasoning. Turned out excellent
계란장 진짜 밥도둑😍
Looks so amazing 👏 😍
that's beautifullll
YES I FINALLY HAVE ALL THE INGREDIENTS
Where
When
I would have cooked some scallops, mushrooms, shrimp or fish and throw it in there with those marinated eggs yum
Question, what is the correct way, are the eggs laid when the water is boiling or before?
I have to have vinegar in my mix otherwise this is about how I do it! Also great for dumplings and just over rice.
What do you do with the leftover sauce
Do you boil the water first, before adding the eggs?
Hi. I usually boil the water first in low heat. When tiny bubbles appear i add the eggs and leave it at that temperature and cook however i like it. I like runny yolk so i cook it in low heat for 5 minutes 45 seconds to full 6 minutes. And then quickly cool it down by putting it on running water and ultimately putting it on ice water so it stops cooking. Peeling it when you can touch it also helps stopping the cooking process.
Sorry i just want to help 😅😓
@@fIrSt735 no need to say sorry, these tips are super useful so thank you :)
I learned the hard way today that it needs to be a really low boil to add the eggs, or else they crack 🙃 But still boil first, then add! 😊
Heat the eggs to boilung temperature. Then drop it into the pot of cold water to help it boil faster
How long can I keep the eggs in the sauce before they go bad? Great video
from memory the recipe states 4-5 days
I understand the eggs keep for about 2-3 days without using sesame seed oil. But does the marinade keep for longer, say, a week?
My eggs always seem underdone cooked for 6-7 mins 😭 start with room temp, into boiling water. The white seems too jiggly. 😭😭😭
Different stove units sometimed put out less heat through the heating elements as they get older and wear down. Yours may not be fully heating up so when you pull them at 6 minutes, it isn't cooked enough. Let the water boil first, then add the eggs and cook for 7 minutes. See if that makes a difference. I have undercooked mine a couple times before too when using my grandparents' stove, which is much older.
Could be altitude? Water boils at lower temp the higher you go or if in low pressure zone
Put the eggs in when the water is already boiling
Hi I need help! I like my eggs to be like not as hard boiled but when I put it in for 7 minute it’s to runny but if I do it for 10 minute it’s fully boiled and I don’t know what to do 😅
@@pinkponypuppy9586 eggs are so sensitive! One minute makes a difference. Try pulling your next batch at 8 minutes and see what you think… If they’re still too soft, you could go for 9 minutes the next time!
By adding vinegar, does it make it last longer in the refrigerator?
I dream of these.
Can the marinade be saved for future use? Would it be good on anything else? Seems like so much will be wasted afterwards.
Every time you said...
*Look at That"...kills me.🇵🇭 😘
The best one
What do you do with the sauce after you eat all the eggs, just throw it away?
Yum yum😊
Tired and it's so good!
How much vinegar and salt goes in the water to help them make easier to peel?
Can you use the leftover sauce on something? Any suggestions please? :)
Put over rice.
Yummy
I have a doubt
What to do with leftover sauce? I mean the soya sauce broth?
Can i store them and use it for noodles ?
Does anyone know 🤔
Some recipes say no sesame oil until your ready to eat. what do you think?
yes, Korean people usually add few drips of sesame oil on egg and rice, not the marinade itself.
I never get them eggs to be like this. 6 minutes total or 6 minutes once the water starts to boil ??
Looks so delicious
Can i use the same sauce for new batch of eggs ?
Can we resuse the marinate for another batch of eggs?
Must the eggs be room temperature before putting it into boiling water?
What do you do with the extra sauce leftover?
is honey really compulsory? can i just used sweet soy sauce instead?
Do I have to put them in the fridge?
Hi! I followed the recipe but missed out the honey part, is there anyways that I could salvage the flavour? It had been marinated for 1day alr 🥶
1/2 Brown sugar 1/2 white sugar
So can you tell me if the eggs need to be at room temperature before you boiling them?
No
How do you heat these up without overcooking them?
Depends on egg size/weight. Test with one
I wonder if you can reuse the sauce?
I think yes, you can put it as a sauce on noodles.
Do you refrigerate while you marinade them or do you leave them out.
I saw videos where they leave it in refrigerator
But u should search yourself bcz I'm not sure either
Is it okay to reuse the marinade?
Yum!
Do you take them out and store separately after they soak?
No. They keep soaked in fridge for three days. Then you can use same marinade for one more batch of eggs for three days.
🔥
The real question is, what do you do with the leftover sauce afterward?!
For 2 hours or overnight? Or your night is 2 hours long?
I want to make this next year, when I can afford eggs lmao
So please comment to remind me
@@chichischronicles You got paid yet fam?
@@MrJhchrist I actually haven't 😭😭
Beee-utiful❤
Do you need to marinate/store them in the fridge since they are kind of soft boiled?
Yes
How long can you keep them for? Is it fermented and can stay a long time without spoiling?
I’m not too sure but someone else said that 3 days is the longest if kept in the fridge without adding the sesame oil
@@mentallydatinggojo4080 what if we leave it in the room temperature?
@@infinitychannel681 I’m not sure probably 2 hours at most if your gonna leave it in room temperature.
What do you do with the sauce after the eggs are gone??
Add it on a bowl of rice, then you can also add other things or eat it simply like that. It's delicious! I'll always add more scallion, and then a protein like tofu or fish. sometimes
Do we marinate overnight in the refrigerator or outside?
How many days it can be stay?
Can we stiil reuse the sauce after the egg finished
Not for the same recipe. You can simmer the sauce down in a pan and pour it on your stir fry.
Can the sauce be reuse the next day?
Does it need to be refrigerated?
How long does the marinade last for? And can you use it for anything else? I always feel bad dumping it after
You can add more eggs, or season chickens with it.
@@sreykmao69 so after the eggs are gone the sauce stays good? That's great!
How long does it last?
Korean green pepper?
So, this only lasts for 3 days ina fridge?
What is Korean green peppers?
What if I don’t add peppers? (I’m allergic)
So I made these but I’m unsure if they’re eaten cold or not ??I don’t wanna eat them cold but I don’t wanna ruin the yolk helppppp lol
Inspired. Queen. ❤
made it last night, it was meh. the japanese marinated eggs and chinese/taiwanese tea eggs taste so much better
Oof I wanna eat for school lunch😮💨🤤
How long we can keep it in fridge?
How many days can this be kept in the fridge?
4
Give me some 😭
Is it OK to boil it or heat it up before eating? I don't like eating cold eggs :(
You can always put the individual eggs in the microwave for 30 seconds before eating. They'll be warm but still flavorful. The point of marinading overnight or a few hours in the fridge after cooking is to let the flavor soak into the egg itself. Once the marinade has set in, they'll still taste like that even after a re heat. Don't heat the marinade though if you plan to reuse it. If you plan to use the marinade sauce with your ramen or rice, feel free to just microwave it all or boil it in a little pot before eating. Won't mess anything up. Enjoy!
