I stopped doing high rise skinnies years ago as leaping over the top tube and plummeting down 4-5' to stick the landing, just wasn't worth the wear and tear on my ever decreasing amounts of cartilidge in my body! I've found that the same challenge of precision presented by riding skinnies still exists with a 2x4 laid on the floor, and there's no penalty for messing up my 56 year old skeleton.
I was working on Dimeslot the day that Beth crashed. I'm glad she's ok and that you enjoyed our trails. Next time you're back this way stop in. There's a bunch of new work and some of the older features have or are in the process of being rebuilt.
Some crazy adrenaline rush ramps! Great job on biking those trails... Back in the day we did some cool trails in Canada but nothing like this! Wow! High skill level riding my friends... super fun watching your videos on this... felt like I was on the bike...
PG is where I learned to mountain bike back in the late 90’s. Looks like it changed a lot since I left 20years ago. But they was still really sketchy woodwork back then.
Rode there last summer. SO many trails. I didn't have much time to explore more so missed these awesome trails. Guess that means I have to go back. Keeping my schedule wide open this summer to try to stay away from the smoke (Prince George was pretty smoke free when I was there).
Ran through PG on my round trip from Alaska to Oregon. No idea why I didn’t try to ride there. But shout out to Gold Rush Cycling Club in Quesnell and Hun City in 100 Mile House. Not a ton of trails but what is there is pretty magical. Quality > Quantity.
I have a full face model from Bonehead Composites (The Dynamic) and not only is it feather light, you can't see the helmet when it's on, it's wind tunnel tested so there's zero wind noise (can hear everything outside, easily), and I can easily drink from a cup *through* the front of it. Not an affiliate, just a happy customer that uses theirs for riding bike instead of skydiving.
Beth young lady I really hope that you are going to feel a whole lot better and I think you learned a lesson on double-checking your helmet make sure it is tight Godspeed to your quick recovery
those trails look so good its just that i only have a bmx and not a mtb. there is a good mountain bike park ner my town that i love to go to but i quite sketchy on a bmx. can not wait till i get a mtb. love the video as well!
At first, I followed the link from your Instagram. And the quality was so bad. Thankfully, decided to find this video directly on the RUclips app. So much better.
6:10 Kitchen Sink? There’s a trail here in Alaska, in Kincaid, named Kitchen sink. And yes, it literally has a full-on sink just sitting at one of the corners.
This is just my personal opinion/preference. But prefer the trade off on frame rate over image quality. Especially these days with the bit rates and sensors being so good. Even at 60 fps the image quality is still pretty dang good. Every time I see a 24 frame video it feels like stop motion for me anymore. Dont get me wrong i still enjoy them anyway, and the Loam Ranger does 24 fps better then most anyone. and paired with his narration, they are still some of the most entertaining mtb videos out there.
I'm very surprised that wood isn't moldy and slippery.. or maybe it is therefore don't make any sudden adjustments.. Nope , protection should be priority! You got lucky, hopefully learned something without getting serious injury.
Next stop: 3hrs west to Burns Lake. Come visit and ride some of our local trails and stop at our bakery and get yourself a local favourite - the honey mooner.
Lovely. I hope that dear lady is OK after that bump on the head? No doubt Hunter did those high skinny's? He's like me, he's mad enough to attempt anything. A man after my own heart. Lol. Thank you dudes. God bless you all.
These super wide FOV 360 camera shots don't do it for me. It doesn't showcase the trail and bike movement, rather the landscape (in my opinion). Looks like a fun destination to ride though
wish we could have gotten a shot of you going down those (not from your POV...as a spectator) cuz seeing your position and etc, would have been cool. i mean, POV riding is sorta fun to see but ....
I'm glad to see your riding companion did not get seriously hurt. I hate skinnies. There's no way I'd be hitting those extra high features on this trail. Way too much in the way of bad consequences for me.
How do y’all make it look like y’all are going so fast I know you’re going so fast but what camera are you using? Is it some settings? Are you speeding it up? What’s the trick here and also how are you mounting your camera and what camera do you use?
Please please please always secure your helmet, that could've ended so much worse. When I was 8 my skate instructor died because his helmet wasn't strapped. Hit a trick wrong dropping into a bowl, helmet came off midair, cracked his head open on the concrete and died in the hospital. Helmet safety is so important and not enough people take it seriously.
Thanks for being here! Here's how we color grade and export our action cam footage: ruclips.net/video/mPM5mgdx0NI/видео.htmlsi=38kzYhCpE56QUWVY
with the amount of fantastic videos you make, I dont understand why you have a hub with that much noise?

I broke my XT derailleur with a 2 foot skinny and it took my love for them away real quick
Skinnies are a great example of a high-risk/low-reward obstacle
🙋🏻♂️ Ditto
53 yrs old here and I’ve got to choose my fun wisely especially since my wife is a physical therapist
High risk, low reward. No thanks - I have a family to provide for!
That's why I always rent a bike when I visit Ray's Indoor MTB Park! it's either roasting a derailleur or disc rotor!!@@alexisonbike3652
Can we pause to appreciate the makers of nice ascending trails? Doin the lords work🤘
100%. That climb was pretty dreamy.

Glad to hear Beth was OK after her crash. Some cool crazy wooden features there, beautiful woods too. 😃👌🤙
Home town! We don't have a ton of elevation, but I do really love the riding here! Come visit... Lots of trails and the surrounding areas are stellar!
This videos got me stoked for the season!!!! - glad you're all healed up Beth 🤗
Counting the days until cranbrook dries up. Let's go dirt season!
Some crazy adrenaline rush ramps! Great job on biking those trails... Back in the day we did some cool trails in Canada but nothing like this! Wow! High skill level riding my friends... super fun watching your videos on this... felt like I was on the bike...
Sorry about the head bonk and glad you are doing well, excellent video as always.
That obstacle in the intro! OMG no way! Lol

Wow! How good and scary. Super Gnarly. Great video thank you guys for sharing.

Very enjoyable video! You're an excellent rider. I wish we had those trails nearby.
FUUUU, i miss hitting Garage door. That was my first big drop, growing up in PG. Then came cherry popper on Cranny. Good riding up there.
Awesome trails! great riding! Glad Beth is ok!
If you're ever in the area again, come north! Dawson Creek and Mackenzie both have some fun trails, and not too far of a drive
This trail looks REALLY Fun to ride
Wow! Those are incredible features! Scary though! Looks beautiful in the fall. Just want all this snow to go away here in Calgary now!
This look ABSOLUTELY amazing. Gotta check it out.
Trails like that really make me wish I could still ride! Be safe and always wear your helmet!
Come to Quesnel you pass through it on the way to PG next time it's so good here.
Those trails had some crazy wood features. That right turn definitely looked scary. Hope she is ok after the crash.

Incredible trail and great video!! Thanks for sharing!
I just wanna ride somewhere like this so badly…
Super super looking trails.
Great video, some of those features look crazy.
Great trails and great riding
Yooo that’s amazing! I live here and I ride almost daily once the trails are good😊
damn this place looks epic - them fall feels
those trails look so good its just that i only have a bmx and not a mtb. there is a good mountain bike park ner my town that i love to go to but i quite sketchy on a bmx. can not wait till i get a mtb. love the video as well!
Good job keeping it in tour or tour plus

6:10 Kitchen Sink? There’s a trail here in Alaska, in Kincaid, named Kitchen sink. And yes, it literally has a full-on sink just sitting at one of the corners.
I would never even attempt to that, you’re crazy (in a good way)! Those look like some awesome trails
I need to visit this part of the world, this all looks unreal
Hey man, I love the content and I was just wondering if you could make a tutorial on how to wheelie with no fear.
Oscar Blues Brewery of Longmont CO was the first town to start canning craft beer.
My brother in law is there for a course right now and got to ride those trails. Looks like we’ll be taking a trip there to ride later this summer 😂
Looks like a blast!!! I need to head up there!
What’s the Yoann thing? And don’t tell me it’s having a baguette! Lol
I wish I had that kind of skill man keep it up man you guys are awesome just be careful😂
Missed some trails gawking at those brake levers
I'm in the emergency room just from looking at the thumbnail. That wood feature is so high.
that feature looks gnarly!
Never knew, might have to go visit my Uncle who lives there!
I see the opening second and immediately think “NOPE”.
Do you still like your Mezzer and Mara Pro? Looking at these for my upcoming build and would love your thoughts!
Do you have a video of only your insane car setup? Wow!
I do! ruclips.net/video/yhe5h2uznfw/видео.html
huh I've been past Prince George several times, I never actually knew there was such amazing biking there. Great video!
A group of us from work ride pidherny alot that big piece of wood makes me nervous
Great video
Thanks!
You are really good!
Looks incredible. Why's it gotta be such a long drive from Idaho? :(
Awesome

I agree. Looks pretty but less fun to watch than higher fps footage
Man I sure miss Canadian woodwork.

That would a great name for a mountain bike though a bit too on point, the money hooner....
Hellz ya didn't know about Prince George.
What's the Yoann thing? Video link?
jesus christ man when it looks like that on an actioncam you know its crazy lol
Hey man! Great video. Love the color grade you got going on here. Do you happen to have a LUT you would be down to share?
I wish we had even remotely this nice trails here
oh geez Beth! Glad you're ok now... yikes!
Que lugar bonito pra fazer andar de bike... nice
so splendid trip~ godspeed. ;))
Nice bumbling. Glad Beth is okay.
Did you stand up to those jumps?
I know you guys are very open to experimentation. Would there be a chance to get your view on gearbox bikes if you ever tested one ?
How the heck did your helmet fly off? Well that’s a lesson to learn. You guys are insane !!
Lovely.
I hope that dear lady is OK after that bump on the head?
No doubt Hunter did those high skinny's?
He's like me, he's mad enough to attempt anything. A man after my own heart. Lol.
Thank you dudes.
God bless you all.
Matt hoffman, did his own sutures.
Ride Entropy next time u visit! It’s just off Ditch Pig
The best trail!
These super wide FOV 360 camera shots don't do it for me. It doesn't showcase the trail and bike movement, rather the landscape (in my opinion). Looks like a fun destination to ride though
Awesome vid 🤘🔥
Yeah not a Canadian so as soon as you mentioned the first place to can beer I first of all thought Virginia, oops.
What…You guys have an e-bike towing service all set up. 🙂
wish we could have gotten a shot of you going down those (not from your POV...as a spectator) cuz seeing your position and etc, would have been cool. i mean, POV riding is sorta fun to see but ....

How do you like your Oso?
How do y’all make it look like y’all are going so fast I know you’re going so fast but what camera are you using? Is it some settings? Are you speeding it up? What’s the trick here and also how are you mounting your camera and what camera do you use?
What’s your stem? It looks nice
That’s an older Intend Enduro stem. I don’t think they make that model anymore.
dude what camera is this
What brand of bike are u on? Never seen
The first bike I was on is an Ibis HD6. The e-bike I ride later is an Ibis Oso. They’re both a very, very good time!
@@TheLoamRanger how was the e bike?
What’s the Yoann thing?
What glasses is Beth rocking?
That ibis bike makes strange rattling noises
what did you mean never herd of it I live right next to it.🤣
making noises to make features seem scary vs them actually being scary lol
Always Plan on ER when doing this 😮
I stopped doing skinnies a couple years ago. Risk vs reward loses. Even low ones, if you slide off, it’s so easy to mess up a derailleur or disc.
Looks great on iPhone but terrible on Apple TV / Xbox. 1080p max in settings.
What’s the “Yoann thing”?
The skinny’s are crazy

Man what a buzzkill 😞
They allow motorized vehicles on those trails?? I thought ebikes were not allowed.
