This literally explains my feelings, I want to believe in God but looking at the world it just doesn't feel like there is someone actually looking over us , helping the needy and blessing the good people
I can relate somewhat. But instead of asking why God doesn't help the needy, I ask why I don't help, or why other more fortunate people do something. My way of thinking is that God helps those who help themselves and others first.
honestly it'd be nice to have something to believe in but after everything i've gone through and seen in the world i came to the conclusion that there is no god or there is and they don't care for us or they're spiteful and cruel. i wish i could believe that there's some kind and loving god out there and if they are, why don't they come around more often? a lot of people could do with some positive divine intervention in their lives because there's so many people who need and deserve it
@@reyphorian Trust me, I know how you feel. I lost my sister in a car accident when I was seven, and several times I've contemplated taking my own life. But after getting some help and really thinking about it, my belief in God never waivered.
It's not God's fault that the driver was drunk, or that my sister was jaywalking.
I think God made science and the world and everything, and that he made us sentient so we could help each other.
Instead of asking myself why God doesn't intervene, I ask myself why others and myself don't help first.
He doesn't "come around" because he wants us to help ourselves and grow as people.
All he did was create us and give us free rein of the world. We are the ones who made poverty, world hunger, global warming, and all the other economic issues in the world.
He "allows" it because people are supposed to deal with the consequences of their own doing.
Things like tornados, floods and hurricanes are just nature, and although they may seem cruel with how they impact humans and animals, that's how the world is.

I understand from your point of view. God can't physically change things, but I believe he can give us signs and show us the right path to take. Hardships that we go through could be a test as to what we can handle and how we can conquer those very hardships. Even if he you can't hear or see him, he is there. You just have to let him into your heart.
@@mz.krafty4533 i dunno i mean testing me through making me suffer seems like a pretty messed up thing. i'm not too keen on believing in a god whose testing caused me depression at 10 years old and PTSD and sexual trauma in my late teens. i get more support from my friends than i ever have from the god people always keep telling me about and the way religious folks try to argue god's existence and love for us despite all the suffering that goes on in the world sounds a lot like when i was in an abusive relationship. people can tell me whatever they want but till i see this alleged god in action, i don't believe in anything. i'd rather know that there is no real meaning to life and death and nothing comes afterward than to believe in an absent deity that gets overhyped in ways that directly conflict with what's stated about them in the official religious texts, and i'm done with people trying to convince others to just "let god into [their] heart" in hopes of converting them rather than just respecting the diversity of religious beliefs.

Often times trash piling up is used to talk about global warming, or climate change. So him saying this is him worried about the changing climate, but knowing he's just as to blame for it too.

Not really. It is hypocrisy to push the responsibility of all of the creation onto a creation when the creator is supposedly omniscient, omnipotent, and all good. It's equivalent to abandoning a robot to look after a robotic factory when its programming is broken and the factory doesn't work. Yet the robot is told it can't question its situation when the factory is owned by the richest, smartest person to ever exist.

Wow this song is the book of Habakkuk in a nutshell. Just with a modern twist, profanity, and the fact he’s not a prophet. Still, I’m a Christian and I can’t help but to pay tribute to the truth about this song. I do hope if your trying to find help to the harsh truth’s of the world to read through Habakkuk. Some good stuff in there as the world is messed up and really gives me hope in God.
