      These videos have shown a hundred guaranteed trades. None have happened. Maybe we should talk about the Islanders big deal trading Yashin for Yakupov.

      @@user-we2yt5on9bno idea what you’re talking about, yet still more interested than the video itself. Ironic

    This aged badly. The Flyers were NEVER going to offer sheet anyone. Especially for what he signed for. They wouldn't have had the cap space nor should they be parting with the picks.

    Benier had hit his “sophomore slump” on a poor performing team last year. Seattle will not be as successful as Vegas and will not make the playoffs every year…surprise!!!
    On that effect, looking at the draft history of Seattle, since their 1st year drafting, not including this year, they have drafted almost all centers if not defense or goaile. They have about a handful of players that are wingers in the draft. In Wright’s year, they had (4) 2nd round picks…3 C’s chosen!!!
    …yes, a center can develop into a fine winger, but that takes years for some to be good at a professional level. Did they pick these players for depth, development, or value?
    Interesting discussion to go for Benier, but if I were him, I’d stick past the next Seattle contract before moving. This will ensure some lore to be tied to his name with a new franchise. Make him legendary in his own right. Wright may be number 1 C in the future, but Benier will be the Ron Francis of the franchise.

      @William-c4h I knew they were/are friends.
      I know Buffalo wanted Matty, too.
      It was a choice between Power & Beniers... & now Buffalo has a chance to snag him from the Kraken...
      LET'S GO BUFFALO! 🦬

      Sounds nice, but with what money?
      Quinn, Peterka, Tuch, Byram contracts need to be signed.
      Plus you just don’t have room for him now with McLeod, would take the place of Cozens

    I'm sure Beniers would jump at the opportunity to leave Seattle and move to Philadelphia. Why wouldn't he? Especially with Seattle investing in guys like Stephenson and Montour, Shane Wright joining the team, etc. They obviously aren't committed to improving the team.
