Hello, how does emotional neglect and no physical affection from your parents affect the development of anxiety and depression starting at age 10? I fear my mother had depression her whole life due to neglect from her own parents. Can SSRI drugs essentially work to heal brains from this type childhood?
Looking at the graphic at 15:41 in the video - my daughter has Arnold Chiari II malformation (where her cerebellum extends down into the spinal canal) - could this atypical brain anatomy affect how antidepressants (and other psych meds) work? She deals with anxiety and ADHD inattentive type.

Why is insomnia considered a mental illness? I was born with it.
Sleep-wake disorders are in the DSM and that was the basis for adding insomnia into this video.

Tell them about Post SSRI Sexual Dysfunction (PSSD). Caused by antidepressants, it is a long-term, potentially permanent, hell worse than any depression and there is no treatment. People are being abandoned with this condition. PLEASE warn your patients and allow them to make an informed decision about whether to take these drugs.
