I have no experience about driving I’m an adult with an L plate. I’m scared of driving because when I was teenager and wanted to learn about driving a car, I hit the car when doing reverse and got traumatised never want to learn again thinking I could get into an accident, that’s why it took so long to decide to learn driving again and so I decided to watch how to drive and found this channel! And I have watched your ‘How to Pass’ videos over and over again until I understand and remember them and put it into practice until the day of my driving test! Pass first go! And yes I choose 11am for the test and the traffic was pretty quiet so made me less nervous! Less challenging but we all want to pass first! All I can say is that watching your videos saved me lots of money (only booked about 10 paid lessons with a driving school and the rest practice with my husband on his free time which is almost rare) and took me a total of 3 to 4 months, saved me time! If I don’t watch your how to Pass videos, It’d would easily taken me maybe a year. Cos I’m quite slow. I’m still beginner and need more and more practice to be the high experience driver! Practice makes perfect. Thanks Jimbo!

Have my test booked on Friday, have drove since 2014 and got my act together to do it the right way like everybody else. Taught myself. Done a instructor 30m drive today and picked up a few things. Didn’t know you had to indicate again coming out of a 3 point turn. Nailed the reverse parallel. Just need to remember to head check turning off a road cause it’s gonna cost me, enjoy your videos mate my young sisters are on their learners and will forward your page to them. :)
Hi Lay best of luck on Friday. The only signals you need on the 3pt and pulling in and out. You do not need to use any signal when you go forward after reversing. If your instructor told you that then ask for your money back.
@@thedrivingtestguynsw8424 yeah I stopped kerbside with indicator, and indicated right and performed the 3 point turn. Also told me to not fully lock on the first act of 3pt. And this is how I’ve always taught myself to do. Full lock with indicator head checks etc

Hello Jimbo, Do you have a tip jar or something? I watched all of your videos at least twice and some of them more, your explanations made so much more sense. Once an instructor told me to use a tree as reference for 45degrees for parallel parking (!?). I passed my test in Nowra today with 104/108 score, First go! I wish i watch this video sooner. Never drive, no experience before coming to Australia, had 4hours of lessons and confidently take the test. Boom. failed 3 times. Low ability in a hard level test. Took thw test in merryland 2160. I can say its hard difficulty level for me, because it could be very very busy sometimes for a test route. Any time of the test are the same. A lot of buses, traffic, bike rider, school zone. Short distance between couple of redlight, easy to trap in the middle of red light. Good luck for all of us. I will take my 4th driving test on different test site soon.
@@yongkyputra1173 Hi mate sorry to hear you are having trouble passing. Your problem is that you are simply not ready. Having not driven and only done 4 hours is not enough. Continuing to book tests is not a good solution. You need to improve your driving skills by driving more and maybe booking more lessons with a good (not cheap) instructor. Best of luck with this.

Hello Extort. Sorry to hear you didn't park. It's rare that parking is a fail. What fail items were marked on the left side of the sheet? How many NO (circle) scores did you get ?
Close to getting my green Ps yet I still watch your vids. I remember during my test I had traffic and the instructor took me through an unsealed road. There was a car parking in front of me and he told me to go around. Luckily I remembered to just treat it as a normal lane change and performed normal headchecks.

Have my test booked on Friday, have drove since 2014 and got my act together to do it the right way like everybody else. Taught myself. Done a instructor 30m drive today and picked up a few things. Didn’t know you had to indicate again coming out of a 3 point turn. Nailed the reverse parallel. Just need to remember to head check turning off a road cause it’s gonna cost me, enjoy your videos mate my young sisters are on their learners and will forward your page to them. :)

Hi Lay best of luck on Friday. The only signals you need on the 3pt and pulling in and out. You do not need to use any signal when you go forward after reversing. If your instructor told you that then ask for your money back.

@@thedrivingtestguynsw8424 yeah I stopped kerbside with indicator, and indicated right and performed the 3 point turn. Also told me to not fully lock on the first act of 3pt. And this is how I’ve always taught myself to do. Full lock with indicator head checks etc

Hi Jimbo. Great explanation! Can examiner make variations to the test routes, perhaps to introduce additional difficulties during quiet times or vice versa?
No they dont. However they can take you temporarily off course to find a car to reverse park.

I watched all of your videos at least twice and some of them more, your explanations made so much more sense. Once an instructor told me to use a tree as reference for 45degrees for parallel parking (!?).

Never drive, no experience before coming to Australia, had 4hours of lessons and confidently take the test. Boom. failed 3 times. Low ability in a hard level test. Took thw test in merryland 2160. I can say its hard difficulty level for me, because it could be very very busy sometimes for a test route. Any time of the test are the same. A lot of buses, traffic, bike rider, school zone. Short distance between couple of redlight, easy to trap in the middle of red light.

I will take my 4th driving test on different test site soon.
@@yongkyputra1173 Hi mate sorry to hear you are having trouble passing. Your problem is that you are simply not ready. Having not driven and only done 4 hours is not enough. Continuing to book tests is not a good solution. You need to improve your driving skills by driving more and maybe booking more lessons with a good (not cheap) instructor. Best of luck with this.

Close to getting my green Ps yet I still watch your vids. I remember during my test I had traffic and the instructor took me through an unsealed road. There was a car parking in front of me and he told me to go around. Luckily I remembered to just treat it as a normal lane change and performed normal headchecks.
Jimbo, I binged all your videos in the week. Or so. Before my 2nd attempt, and I just failed again, not your fault, I just get nervous during test, I had same examiner that failed me first time and it was a 2pm test, everything sucked, your videos are really good though, I've got a test next Friday again, so I'm gonna keep watching your vids, thanks for putting them out, sorry this isn't the usual success story....
