I have some amazing news to share! Baby Lyla Belle has arrived and you are all officially aunties and uncles now! hehe 🥰 We are both doing well and adjusting to this new life together! I absolutely love how real and descriptive you’ve been throughout your pregnancy. It’s very educational especially because a lot of things in pregnancy and child birth aren’t taught.

I think I'm really lucky to be pregnant a few weeks behind Tina and staying in the same country as her 😂 Her sharing saves me a lot of effort to research for my pregnancy and exposes me to many things I never knew about! Episo-No wow! And appreciate the Kiddy box too! Thanks a lot Tina!
How was your delivery ?
I think you'll discover that once you've hit 10cm and you start active pushing, it's not going to hurt like you've been hurting while dilating. It's a relief once you can start pushing. You're gonna do great! I wish you and Alfred a textbook delivery! And, don't you worry a bit about taking care of your little one. You'll be surprised just how quickly you catch on to her schedule and to what her different cries mean and what she wants. You go with your instincts...they'll rarely lead you wrong. You've got this!

I always have loved how honest and real you are about your life and the things you do. I'm not pregnant and I don't ever plan to get pregnant but I just love watching this content so much because of how real and genuine you are. Congrats on Lyla's entrance into the world!!!!

I use the EPI-NO for my first child and got to 8cm. Doctor still have to perform a tiny episiotomy because they want the baby to be out faster. But I think it really helps! Even with episiotomy I recovered within 10 days :) Also I drink raspberry leaf tea starting 35 weeks, my baby came at 37 weeks though xD

Congratulations! What you need to know is that every baby is different and something that worked great for your friend or what the "experts" say may not work for your baby! Don't stress. If all you do in a day is just keep yourself and your baby alive then you're doing great! Also post partum (baby blues) are a part of a lot of moms reality! And it's not always just crying. It could be anger, frustration or feeling like you're not bonded to your baby. Please seek help if you feel off. This is not a taboo subject anymore. Your doctor can and will help you! So excited you you and Alfred ❤

I'm not sure I've come across many Asian people who talk about childbirth/anything to do with sex, as openly as you do. Usually it's hush hush, don't ask sort of stuff. Thanks again, Tina, for taking us along your pregnancy ride :)

I cant believe i have been here for the whole journey… im so happy for you.
I recommend having more than newborn diapers. They grow really fast and my daughter was only in newborn diapers for like a week, if that. You'll know they are too big for their diaper when they leak outside of it. If you end up having a colicky baby, just remember that you are not alone and always make sure your baby is in a safe spot when you take 15 mins to cool down. That's what I was recommended when I had my daughter. She was super colicky. Up every half hour for nearly 6 months. It was exhausting. Just make sure you don't forget about time for yourself. It's not selfish, you will need it. Even if it's just a bath or what have you. Also, don't feel bad if you cannot breast feed. It happens, and it is normal. With all your hormones dropping quickly you will be emotional, so just take care of your mental health. If you have baby blues or post partum, just know you are not alone in this either. Every Mom goes through something but try to stay positive and remind yourself of that. I had baby blues, it was awful, but I had support from my husband and I got through it. That's all the little tidbits of info I have. It will be hard at first, but you WILL find your rhythm. Don't worry.

Everything you said made so much sense. Especially the practice regarding your posture and certain exercises.
It not only prepares you for the birth but the sudden changes in form of the things you do, are also probably being recognize by your child. So she can prepare and adapt in here own ways.

Coincidentally, I integrated many of your practices in both of my natural vaginal deliveries, and I cannot stop thinking about how great of an experience it was, even though my babies are toddlers now. Remember that it is okay and very normal for unexpected things to occur. It sounds like you are very prepared for that. You and Alfred are fantastic parents regardless of what your mind might say. That was one of the hardest things for me as a parent, believing that I am a good parent even though I don’t quite understand what my crying baby wants from me. I am sending lots of happiness, joy, love, and prayers to you, Alfred, and baby Lyla! 😘💕💜
