you guys are the cutest! 😩❤️
Congratulations Tina and Alfred.......My question is that when you held Lyla in your hand for the first time what was the first thing that came to your mind?
I learned so much about the video! thank you so much
Do you use baby formula or on complete breastfeed
What about zayn ??
Tina calling us lyla's aunties and uncles made me so happy 🥺 she's absolutely lovely, Tina.
Tina, I would like to thank you for all your transparency and how you’ve normalized this more in my life. As a young woman who wants children but has heard and seen terrible birthing stories in either movies or from people around me, this has given me a lot more confidence in my own body and the process itself. Thank you so much and congratulations on your beautiful baby! Wishing you three the best ❤️
I feel the same
I love how you don't sugarcoat anything and answer honestly...the birth blog was so raw and real.. thank you for being so real about it. I hope you are doing well and giving proper rest to your body...
P.S baby Lyla is sooo cute 😫 and you are glowing as well. Take care 😊
I went into preterm labor days after your birth vlog and I didn’t think they were contractions until I remembered you!! I checked myself into the hospital and got to slow it down but honestly if it weren’t for your video I think my baby would’ve been here by now so thank you for sharing your special moment with us💕
Aww congratulations! Hope you and baby are doing well ❤️
I always thought a dula was kinda useless but seeing how Chantel helped you and your brief description of her services and how she helped you (and will continue for the next year), i feel this this is a really good option and i will be considering one when the time comes. This was especially eye opening as an aspiring nurse midwife. 💕
This is why I love your content! You’re always so honest and transparent about things people never really talk about so thank you 🙏🏽💛
Lyla doesn’t even know how many aunts & uncles she has! she has so much love for her already 🥲🥰🤍 we love her so much Tina!
this is definitely again an honest QnA & that's what I love all about tina
Off topic, but your makeup is SO pretty in this video. I've been staring at your eye makeup the whole time because it is SO gorgeous... please do your makeup like this more often!!!
You are my personal favourite Australian RUclipsr! It has been now 8 years I have been following you ever since I lived in Sydney, Australia and now watching you from England, I am getting married soon! my partner is half English half Aussie it is interesting! I learned now a lot about labour and it is like being pregnant. I am going to be a good dad.
You were blessed to not have the back labor pains and having a wonderful supportive husband. Makes a big difference!
I'm so glad that you had a positive birthing experience, Tina. Our little niece is the cutest baby EVER! I'm so happy and excited to see her grow. 🥺❤ Much love from 🇲🇽 for your family!
I remember my mom saying she just pushed me out not fully dilated as she didn’t care anymore, she had to get stitches, her story traumatized me from getting children, I really want to have 2 so I am glad I stumbled upon your video, it has comforted me that birth may not be as bad as it sounds like.
Thank you Tina! I'm 39 weeks and 6 days as of today and this is so helpful. Biggest tip take away for me, don't give up and and when you think you can't do it anymore is when your the closest. Congratulations again on your beautiful baby. 😍
Congratulations 🥰
I'm currently 25 weeks pregnant and Tina makes me feel so calm and optimistic!! She made it seem so easy, such a strong woman! Thank you for sharing your experience with us ❤❤
Congratulations 🥰
I’m so happy your birth experience was so positive! Lyla is just so gorgeous. Alfred was so supportive and your doula was wonderful. Watching you do that final push in the water I felt like I was there with you lol.
I wanted to do non-medicated as well but because I was a week and a half late the doctor gave me pitocin to kick start my labor. And unfortunately after 16 hours of hard labor with no real progress we had to do a c-section because my baby was in distress. The positive thing was my husband got to watch the surgery and truly appreciated everything I went through to bring our precious daughter into this world! ❤️
Glad to hear that you are recovering well! I would love to see a “what’s in my hospital bag” type of video :)
I’ve given birth to my 3 babies all naturally without any pain relief. My first I was 15 (too young ik). While I was in labour I just couldn’t bring myself to take any pain relief, not even the gas. I’m so proud of myself. It’s honestly so amazing what our bodies are capable of. Congrats again, Tina & Alfred. ❤️
I’m giving birth soon in a week or two. Watching your sharing has brought me a bit more courage when epidural is not a guaranteed option in the hospital I’m going to . Thanks Tina !
Congratulations 🥰
She’s seriously so cute! 🥺
Glad your doing well after birth tina! ❤️
I was astounded at how calm (well, relatively speaking lol) your birth vlog was - I'd love to hear more stories from your doula about how we can prepare to have non-traumatic birth journeys (as opposed to what we see in movies).
The price is crazy. Delivering should be free or at least a few hundreds at most. What do you do if you can't afford a few thousands ? Do you just deliver at home with all the risks that come with it ?
Hearing that the contractions can feel like period cramps gives me relief when I decide to have children as I don’t really have bad period cramps. I’ve felt more pain with terrible ear infections and teeth/gum pains when I got braces and dental surgery
Baby Lyla is too cutee. My heart cannot handle it 😭😭❤️❤️
I am currently 15 weeks pregnant Alhumdulillah, its my first time too🥺🥰🤗
Congratulations 🥰
Lylah is just as beautiful as her mother💕💕
You two will be the greatest parents, can’t wait to see more of Lyla.
I have so many questions about postpartum care! Does it hurt down there ? What about when you want to poop after giving birth? Does it hurt ? Did you have to change your diet? And what over all postpartum advice would you give to new mommies? Postpartum plan? How did you feel mentally after giving birth? Postpartum depression scares me the most 😳
The contraction part sounds like when I’m passing a kidney stone, I’d like to think one day I’ll be ready just from dealing with those haha. Thanks for sharing!! I love watching these even though I have no kids.
That is still less expensive than a regular birth in the US. Doctor charges delivery fee plus hospital bills separately (I worked at an Ob/Gyn).
Bless you both!! Hope y’all get some rest here and there
About the same! Lol so yeah you be ready one day hahaha
@@JYYB that is good to know 😆
It's nothing like a kidney stone. (different hole). Unless the kidney stone is the size of a grapefruit at least. Those are very very painfuI as well so hopefully u built a tolerance! I have two daughters. Didn't have the same experience as Tina. I was in labor for days, it's different for everyone but hope it goes well for u. ❤️
@@kayleighselina.3152 I know.. the pain is just sometimes equated to contractions because of how painful it is. I’m sure one day I’ll be screaming like Tina too haha
Heard a few ppl say kidney stones are worse than labor!
She's the cutest 😭😭
ikr 😭
Question for your Doula: what are tips for handling back labor? Especially back labor so intense that it stalls your labor.
My labor with my firstborn was 35 hours and I had back labor the while time. I was at home for the first 24 hours and got admitted into the hospital when I was a 4. I reached a 5 an hour later, but stayed at a 5 for the next 6 hours. My contractions were 1 minute apart and so intense I was crying. I finally got an epidural and was a 10 a few hours later and pushing.
My second born was basically the same experience. Back labor from the very first contraction. Only this time my labor was 25 hours. I was at home for 15 hours of it, got to the hospital at a 5, and stalled out at a 6 with contractions 1 minute apart so painful I was crying, and was pushing within 2 hours of an epidural.
I am currently 5 months pregnant again, and I am not against getting another epidural if I have a similar experience again. But I really would like to handle the pain better so that I am able to enjoy my birth experience more.
Side note: My partner for the first 2 was present, but not very involved. My now husband is incredibly supportive and will do absolutely anything to help me through it.
gave birth to my first born about a month ago and omg I can soooo relate to all these, congratulations Tina!
Congratulations 🥰
Wonderful to see you and Lyla doing so well🥰
Thanks for answering the questions helps me prepare myself, I want to ask the recovery after birth. Some people say they find it hard to poo and takes a few days after birth, is it same for you? Did you find it hard to breastfeed at first? Did you experience pain when feeding? Everyone tells me to not wash my hair after birth, did you wash your hair? Lastly, how do you feel now are you getting any help to look after lyla? My questions are quite straight forward since I'm at the stage waiting for my baby girl.. I want to prepare myself
So happy for you both, Tina & Alfred :) Really very encouraging to see & hear these from you guys!! Thank you so much for sharing !!
I am so jealous of women who had an easy going labor. I had a traumatic labor for my first baby. I didnt have a doula or any support so I didn’t know what to do. Doctors just kept telling me to push and threaten me with csection which caused more stress. I am giving birth in two months at a different hospital and hopefully it will be a better experience.
Omg that's horrible no mother should ever have to experience this. I pray that your next delivery will be a calm and beautiful experience 🙏 ❤️
Thank you for talking so openly about your labor. We as modern people living in this time, being imprinted by Hollywood, we forget that women are made to do that. Many of us only have one baby and don't get to the point of a "stress less" labor having experience. I am very thankful for having hospitals and all that but I think many women are pushed into pain medication instead of being calmed down and get trough it without. Our moms or grandmother's did it mostly without medication, we as human beings do that for millions of years without pain medication. We can do it and shouldn't fear it. I don't want the times back as many mothers and baby's died in labor, don't get me wrong but we tend to neglect nature and the time after giving birth can be more troublesome when we skip the hard work ☺️ my thoughts
You did so well, she's beautiful 💕
I got pregnant first time …then had miscarriage at 6 weeksss and am still going through that stuff and feeling so sad..now am trying to loose my weight can you please ask your doula after how much time I’ve to try again for baby and what I’ve to do for my health so that thing never happen again ……and love you….😘😘❤️❤️❤️ I remember I was seeing your birthing video on the day I had miscarriage and I was crying but I was sooooo happy for you and baby Layla ❤️❤️🥰🥰😘😘😍😘God bless
her …. Lots of love and prayers for her 👼🏻👼🏻🤣🥰❤️❤️baby dust to All the women who are trying
So sorry for your loss 🙏🏽
😔😔thanks for feeling me 😇
Hi Tina, I’m a long time subscriber but think might be the first video that I’m commenting on. I am expecting our daughter in roughly a month and a half now and your videos have made me feel so much calmer about the process. You are always open and honest in your videos but hearing about your own experience and your thoughts help me prepare myself mentally. I just wanted to express my gratitude since I can see that having a newborn and making these videos at the same time cannot be easy. And congratulations on your birth!!
I’m so glad you had an easy birth. Thanks for sharing everything with us. Love you all.
I love how you call us unties and uncles so sweet of you.
Thank you for sharing us your birth experience, i truly want to become a mom one day and I'm afraid of birth. Probably because of lack of knowledge i remember when i was a teen i thought it's painful down there that's why they scream but it's actually the labor contractions! Because of your vlog. I want to experience normal delivery birth also but i have things to consider still such as i have hemorrhoids, 8 inch Long surgery stitch from my raptured appendix so yeah. Childbearing and Birth is just so beautiful. ❤️
Lylah is so precious. You’re still glowing Tina!
Ur amazing Mama! Thanks so much for sharing with us future mums 🥰
Little Lyla is too cute bur plz continue to share her development with us
Lyla is so cute, can't wait to see more about her
Girl, you look radiant and Layla looks like a tiny princess like she is. I am so happy for you guys.
Fun fact lol: doctors usually only come just as the baby is coming out, because if they aren't there for the "actual birth" then they don't get paid! Back in the day, nurses would force women to hold the baby in, or use their hand to stop the baby from coming out, until the doctor got there. It lead to alot of babies dying and having brain damage due to lack of oxygen. Look up The Kennedys (yes, the president) it happened to their sister.
Not painful? We all saw the vlog....those weren't "sensation screams" those were "theres a baby coming out of my body and its HURTS screams!"
Lol. Not the case in Singapore! My doc didn’t make it in time but still had to pay him :)
Found it odd how much she downplayed the pain bc she was screaming so loud
@@shishkebab6267 fr shes making it sound like it was amazing experience, its difficult asf and shes strong but she def was in A LOT of pain. like a whole baby is coming out of you bruh
I did hypnobirthing too with my first baby and I was so touched by your vlog that I definitely want to do it again. I'm due in November :) I had a lot more back pressure during birth it was super intense... I got some pain medication but it did NOTHING but made me sleepy. No epidural though. I think if I had stayed home after my water broke I could have avoided a lot of medical intervention. Also my room had a tub but my doctor sucked and didn't let me use it at all. ugh. This time I have midwives and they are so awesome and I'm excited. also IT DEFINITELY GETS BETTER!!!! Time just keeps passing and you will recover from the first few months, :)
I’m due in November as well!!
I've been following you for years and I'm so happy for you. Your little one made you parents 💕
PLACENTA SHAKES WTFFFFFFFF😳. I DID NOT KNOW THIS😳
I became so emotional watching your birth video. My cousin is in the second trimester and your videos are really helpful.
May God bless Lyla( I'm sorry if the spelling is wrong) with all healthy and peaceful life🥺.
She's so lucky to have such beautiful family 🥺
Honestly your birth video was so beautiful and lovely, the whole vibe was amazing ❤️ congratulations
Wow this is sooo empowering that you did it without the epidural! Thank you for sharing your experience!
When my son was due, he never came, so my midwife induced me with plitocin 2 weeks after my due date.
I was so disappointed because that meant that I wasn't able to do a water birth, or be at home or even the chance of giving birth naturally was unlikely.
I tried to do non-medicated birth, but my plitocin contractions were so incredibly painful, one right after the other that I would have passed out if I didn't get an epidural.
All in all, I'd say my birth experience was pretty positive..even though I didn't get the kind of birth that I had planned, my son was healthy and thats what mattered to me. :)
Lylaaaaa will get well sooon super soon and she will be sooon really healthy and strong ♥️♥️♥️♥️
I watched your video, but to me your video was exactly like in the movies. The way you were screeming and how it all lasted so many hours... I am traumatised to know it is like that in real life too. I now know I can never do this. I won't become a mom. Major respect to everyone who can go through something like that.
I love what you're wearing Tina, thank you for this insight. Can't wait to meet Lyla. Congratulations you two. Alfred looks like he's blending into the background hehe
Honestly the price for the doula was a lot less than expected! I think it’s definitely a good expense
I just revised for my Gyna exam just by watching your videos
hi Lyla I'm your big sis
ma'am i am an asian from India and when my brother was born he had jaundice too. please take care of yourself and our sweet angel 💕 god bless your family
Is a doula like a midwife? I’ve never heard that term before
Wow I'm super early! Congrats tina and alfred!
yes.... after get our babies in our arm..all the hurt automatik gone... n u feels so happy see ur babies...♥️♥️
Omg literally waiting for your video😍Lyla is sooo beautiful🥺💜 I'm soo happyyyy🤧❤️
Congratulations!! And thank you. This was the most informative birth q&a I’ve seen. Xx
I didn't tear my perineum at all, first baby too. You don't necessarily need that device she showed if you don't have access to it or can't afford it. Coconut oil and perineum massage 2-3 times daily worked for me. Also evening primrose oil suppositories. But with the massage, you've gotta really stretch the area, if you don't it's kinda useless.
That’s amazing!! I tried the massages but I could barely reach down there
Oooo baby Lyla is Adorable 😍♥️
Thanks for the info! super interesting. I'm shocked of the cost of the water pool and costs in general though (as I'm always shocked of the costs of medical care in the US and elsewhere...) We're planning a water birth, or at least use the pool and here in the UK it's free, the whole birth is free, but I suppose they can't guarantee that the pool is available. Off to watch your doula video next :D
Congratulations, Tina! 🥰
Question: do you get heavy period after birth? What does it feel like?
Lyla so smol 😍. I wil definitely rewatch this videos of your pregnancy journey when I get to do mine haha this is educational. Btw, you look really beautiful, Tina. I love the eye makeup 😍
I am not late! Lyla is very cute and i am sure that she will grow to be a sweet girl!
Thank you for sharing your positive experience during dlivery, It makes me feel motivated, First time mom here soon to dliver😊
damn,,, your doula is soooo much cheaper than the doctor.. when she do most of the work.. :O
Yup!
@@tina_yong hopefully u tip her well.. ha ha
U really brave and this is very informative and educational video
I am just wondering out loud
When u say the baby come out from the womb directly into water, they won't suffocate.. I wonder if scientist one day will figure out how to transfer premature baby from womb to another artificial womb
So the survival rate will be higher
Hello! I have a question for Chantal.
I also want a natural birth, but I was unable to get a midwife as they are not many in my city, plus doulas here are really over my budget. I still want an unmedicated birth though....what is some advice you would give someone in my position when it is quite possible all the doctors will be pushing for me to get drugs....here there is sadly a terrible drug culture and natural birth is looked down. Love you guys!
She is so pretty 😍 congratss
Fabulous video! I'm learning so much, thank you!
i pray i’ll never poo while giving birth, that’s like my biggest fear next to tearing up and getting stitches 😬
i’m leaning more towards at home, water birth if i ever were to have a baby and i’d want to do it non-medicated like you. you’re so brave & you have a beautiful baby girl 🤍
edit: it’s funny that u kept mentioning that it feels like you have to poop bc when my mom was in labor, my dad almost took her to the bathroom bc she thought she had to poo lol
So happy for you..welcome the new member cute Lyla🥰🥰
I am the first one and the baby is soo cute even you tine you look beautiful
the baby is cute my god !!! but tina please add sisters and brothers with aunties and uncles I feel left out hahaha
Question, is a Doula the same as a midwife?
Please do another birthing vlog for your second child!! ❤️😅
I may consider a doula. What are the questions you should ask to choose one?
I just found out im pregnant and the birthing part scares me 😩😩
How can one choose a doula? How can I be sure that she is experienced and qualified?
My two youngest are 11 months and 12 hours apart. I was breastfeeding and on birth control, best decisions I ever made, you are a badass for doing it all natural and you have a beautiful family mama
Thank you for sharing your journey, it is very insightful and it makes me very calm for a future baby :)
I'm so happy for this video. I want to be a mother someday and this helps me so much. I hope to do a birth with out pain killers.
what is the difference between water labour and normal bed labour which is more comfortable and I was really happy that i am a subscriber to you because you are soo good at telling your experience and everything and we are so happy to see you with your new born baby girls god bless you my little princess she is my little sister queen I am curious to see her in more vedios
Hello Tina Young!
You look lovely and so does your daughter!!!!!
Loads of love from India ❤️
Okay! Momma Tina has a diff glow....And I love it!
Take care dears and lyla is sooooo cute🤗😘❤️
Happy Wednesday ❤️❤️♥️♥️❤️❤️Motherhood looks good on you ❤️❤️❤️& Fatherhood looks good on Alfred 😊😊😊I am so glad that I was able to join you on this journey Lyla Is a cutie 🥰 pie ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yayyyy new video!!
What does an epidural do? Why is a water birth better for the baby?
She is so cute Tina! Congratulations 🎉🎊 🥹❤️
Thank you for sharing with us your experience!
You look so beautiful and glowy btw.
I had my son alone with a dula. Tips from me walk alot don't always lay down unless doctor tells you. I did not eat my pregnancy alot cause of bad heart burn. Wear none tight clothes. I did not work so I had leggings and t-shirts my whole pregnancy. Breastfeed if you can I wish I could of but I did not. Walking along will help labor go faster. If I have another kid I will do water birth too.
Wait, I'm an Uncle? Do I have to buy gifts?
I am 16 weeks pregnant and still not confident enough to use sunscreen. Please suggest me a good drugstore sunscreen
Congratulations 🥰
@@simple_naildesigns thank you so much ❤️
