As it turns out, Kojima had plans for sequels to both Snatcher and Policenauts, but those plans never came to fruition. Snatcher was planned to have a sequel called "Junker's High" that would have explored different storylines and characters within the same cyberpunk universe. But it was canceled. Similarly, Policenauts was intended to have a sequel titled "Beyond Coast."
