I'm not saying men need to be praised to the point of going overboard (even men will be off put by that), but there needs to be more recognition (and appreciation) to men and the roles they play (provider, protector, procreator, priest of God, etc.) and how important they are. I mean, the church I attend off and on didn't even have a Father's Day service. It was just a general 'We gotta work harder as Christians" message (which could be seen as a low-key shamming tactic for men to 'man-up' on their day). But you can bet they went all out for Mother's Day (slideshows, baby dedications, a rundown of key women in the Bible, the whole shabang). It's happening in-mass throughout society right now: If men don't feel needed, they will leave to find where they are, or give up entirely and go their own way, leaving many institutions to collapse in their absence. Even if a place doesn't want men, they need them, because they naturally fulfill the role of protector and provider (even in unnoticed areas such as being the vast majority of net taxpayers, workplace deaths, and bodyguards at feminist rallies).

The main point to me was that to get men in your churches you must meet men where they are at in maturity by making the environment supportive or attractive to there felt needs, wants, and desirees & this can feel gimmicky, and like compromising your convictions initially but if the motives are pure it is simply fulfilling the great commission using tried and true strategies, techniques, and tactics.
People watch this and imagine Zigarelli is talking about young people, but the imbalance is in old people. Churches aren't overflowing with young women. My church is mostly old ladies, with a few young men. The focus should be on attracting young people, not specific groups of old men or ladies.
Those poor men, that end up in heaven and feel so cheated: no competitive sports television, but a lot of flowers. To make matters worse: they are incorporated in the bride of Christ. Let's hope they can handle it.

If you get the man you get the family. Wish that was more understood

Don't feel bad for anyone who escapes hell, even narrowly.
