    Thanks for the updates! I chose a Dalton clutch kit. The Rcor weights chewed up housing pretty bad. Previous owner neglected clutch service. Dalton also comes with shims. Shims are a must imo.

      Thanks for watching! I think the shims definitely make good sense as well. I’ve heard mixed reviews about the Dalton kit but I hope they work great for you! Let me know how you like them

    I have JBS, also didn't notice any performance improvements on the butt dyno, I did lose 5mph (GPS runs) at 9000 rpm. I'm on the 5th?-6th? time removing clutch/changing weights. I have 2 weights in each arm at position 2&3, RPM's are still screaming, much higher than stock weights. Next time I'm moving all weights to the 2 outermost holes to see if that lowers RPM any.
    Great testing, great videos.

    • @rebelsoffroad
      @rebelsoffroad  Год назад

      Wow that’s nuts 2 weights on 2&3 and still screaming? what size tires are you running? Definitely should cut the rpm if you move them to the end but I wonder if they just aren’t shifting all the way. I wonder if it Is possible you have your weights in backwards or if there is something hindering them from shifting all the way out? Thanks for watching!

    If you want faster eta’s. Get the JBS clutch mod. Weights will not take the hesitation out of your machine from a dead stop going from 31” to 35” tires. You raised your gear ratio plus added extra rotating mass. The clutch mod will fix everything.

    • @rebelsoffroad
      @rebelsoffroad  Год назад +1

      I’m interested in the clutch mod as well I need to get some more info on it though. 15% reduction on the low end sounds great but 1k is a lot of money. I want to take a ride in JBSs machine first lol

    Great video! Wish I woulda watched it before installed the clutch..... Couple of questions: 1. Is your primary spring still installed? I'm running 35" one all 4 heels and 2 next slot over (6 total no primary). 2. Are you still running the ultimate setup? I was thinking about trying your setup (2 closest to the heel and 2 1 slot over from the heel)? My setup def makes trail riding quieter. Thanks in advance!

    • @rebelsoffroad
      @rebelsoffroad  Год назад +1

      Thank you for watching! Yes, my primary spring is still installed and I'm still running this setup. I think it's the best one for my needs I wanted a decently good balance of snappy low end and not to high of rpms for if I need to jump on the highway between trails. Removing the primary lowers the rpms so you may want to try putting that back in first and see if you are still happy with the noise but i dont think its bad at all.
