great video guys things I would also look into upgrading on the OG 5b . airfilter belive it are not the orginal hpi air filter assembly with a good outerwears cover is great as long as you keep it lightly oiled. axle extenders . front and rear the rear control arms will rub the backside of the rim causing wear on the beadlocks cause the rim will come in contact with the upper control arm . newer hpi 5B shocks. the older shocks leak and the shock shafts will bend . rear axles upgrade to the newer hpi 5b axles bigger and beefier. pull start cover to keep the grass out. pull the motor and put screen door mesh under the motor are buy the outerwares that covers the underneath of the motor to keep grass from building up under the engine and behind the fly wheel. keep up the great work look forward to more videos. I would love to find a OG baja and restore it
@@gregsargeant9924 Ive never used one but..From the manual Killer RC "Super Bee" Failsafe/Kill Switch Combo www.davesmotors.com/Killer-RC-Super-Bee-Failsafe-Kill-Switch-Combo.html ..the killer bee switch has options for setting up. you need an aux plug on receiver, if not get a Y cable for steering channel. There are battery voltage cut off settings. I have never used one but by looking at the manual, a Gyro would work fine with the killer bee. I would email Davesmotors.com maybe he can help better than we can. Let us know what you find out. Thanks for watching!!!
Good question. I didn't notice it was broken until 5 min after I had it all back together. There was a hairline crack and I wanted to just go ahead and fix it and add the content. Thanks for asking!

Hi guys. Probably a dumb question, but why did you fit the top shock brace, THEN pull it off again to replace the uprights?
Good question. I didn't notice it was broken until 5 min after I had it all back together. There was a hairline crack and I wanted to just go ahead and fix it and add the content. Thanks for asking!
Definitely should get a remote kill switch I got one from dynamite rc
