Great review & thanks for sharing. I will be visiting LA for the first time next year from the UK & I keep being drawn to this hotel so this was an ideal review of the room that I was looking for, many thanks again.
I stayed there when I visited LA. Really good for the price, and a great location, only a few minutes from the Pershing square metro station, which makes it easy to get around LA.
These rooms are actually very quiet (at least mine have and I've stayed about 5 times) ... I would question this at check-in though and request the quietest room possible. Hope that helps!!
I believe this is a regular room - however, I was told that this side is the "best view" ... it is pretty but the building itself isn't tall enough to really have a fantastic view of much, in my opinion. I"m not sure about the skyline view, but I'll try to find out more next time I'm back. Let me know if you end up staying!
@@mylenemysterious7111 hello! We actually just stayed there again last week - and stay often - I feel comfortable walking around the immediate block (Grand Central Market and The Last Bookstore are very close and walking to those wasn't an issue, in the daylight of course) however, we did go a bit out of our comfort zone to visit a little grocery/market (like 3 blocks over) and I was immediately wishing I hadn't. The hotel itself feels very safe though. Hope that helps!

Oh great point! I really liked the location too ... esp how close it is to the food market and some great restaurants. Thanks for saying something!
Thanks for the room tour! Looks nice. Can I ask how is the soundproof? (Really light sleeper)

@@Shesaved Got it. Thank you very much!
Is this the skyline view option or just regular room? Thanks !

How much did you pay for your stay?
I believe it was under $150 booked through a booking app.
@@Shesaved thanks
