Gonna miss you guys. Went from listening while cutting high school, I was listening on 9/11. Y'all kept me laughing while deployed to Iraq. And now I'm a 40 year old father still laughing. It's been a fun 25 year's.
Sybil I've listen to you over the years and this is the first time hearing a voice to match a face. You are a beautiful woman and it's good FINALLY hearing and seeing you.
I been rocking with Tom for along time as he had his on show in Dallas before he went syndicated. So for me to wake up and not hear him and Sybil again will be hard because there is nobody that can replace them, NOBODY!!! I wish the very best to each and everyone one them.❤️
I misssss yall guys soooooooooooooo much! you were my early morning wake up for so long. I cannot get into anyone else right now. Sybil your laugh was so infectious and contagious...loved it when you use to get J Anthony Brown together for him being late, his gross but funny remarks and him being absence without a good excuse. You kept Tom on point and focused and it was such a great great chemistry between all of you. I thought when Jay left, the show would loose a little sitz, but it didnt. Yall went full steam ahead with the other co host and it was still magic! Thank you and Tom and everyone else with so many years of just great great music, topics, comedy, laughter, and tears as well. Yall will and are greatly missed here in Savannah Ga.

Wow!!!! Oh Oh Oh I'm gon cry and cry when Mr. Tom Joyner retires. I am truly going to miss him. I have several memories... the first, I would say when Tyler Perry called speaking on the passing of Michael Jackson and how he loved him growing up. At the very end of the phone call, you could actually hear Tyler get emotional. My personal memory would be when Tom Joyner gave a shout out to me and Coppin State where I graduated with a B.S. degree in management! Thank you for loving your people and showing it over the air!😘👍🎉💚
I wish you all nothing but the best.👏🏾💐 #TomJoynerMorningShow. Hey Sybil, for 20 years I listened to You & Tom on my commute to work & while dropping off the kids to school or the sitter’s home. The Morning Show was how I got the daily news (the dirt low down) & truth of the happenings in our “Black World”. Much Appreciation to Tom, You & The Tom Joyner Morning Show Fun Craziness ... Thanks for the memories!!
Sybil! Sybil! Sybil!!!!! I invested 23 of the 25 yrs w/u, Tom, J & the crew. The tears have not stopped flowing! Monday am was not the same waking up without my TJMS fam! Syb, u inspired, informed & made me think & I am forever grateful. No 1 will miss u guys more than me...& that's what u need 2 know💞
Amongst so many other things that I loved about listening to you, I think what I loved the most was your loyalty to Tom. The way you knew how to step in when he was stumbling on words and even when not to step in, I felt the cohesiveness between the two of you. I will miss listening to you guys so very much!
Have loved listening to you, Tom, and the gang. Wow---the world will greatly miss you all so much from being on the airwaves!! Best wishes on your next journey in life and continued blessings!🙏🏾💕
I grew up in Gary, IN. When I moved to Houston, I really missed Chicago radio. When the TJMS started broadcasting in Houston back in 2000, I was ecstatic! The last 2 days of the show were great with Jay coming back and all the memories. I laughed so much. Ricky & nem have big shoes to fill. I'm gonna miss the TJMS.
Ya'll have been part of my growing up, my niece's and nephew's growing up and now my Grand-Nieces (their children) growing up. It will be a HUGE loss when the final sign off comes. I don't think I will ever listen to morning radio again after that
I'm so grateful to be apart of the ride with you guys. Sitting here listening to Sybil Wilkes, truly made me think about my younger years when I gave up on my dreams to be a radio personality back in the 80's. It just goes to show what happens when you stay strong and don't give up on your dreams, and I'm grateful to have enjoyed the ride with you guys over the past 25 years, you'll be missed, and God bless
So proud to see my childhood friend make such an amazing contribution to Black radio. #Wacker School #Oakdale Park # Morgan Park Academy. You’ve created history for your community ❤️
What a blessing. Thank you guys for pouring your hearts and souls into radio for us. I listened to an interview highlighting Tom's focus was to serve oue people. He said don't worry about cross over...serve your people. Blessings to each of you. There will never be another TJMS. NEVER!
Thank you Tom and Sybil. I started listening to you in college on the way to class and through the years on the way to work. You tirelessly served the African American community and for that we will forever be in your debt. I will never forget the one Sky Show in Raleigh that I was able to make seeing my favorite band, the Ohio Players, before the deaths of the classic lineup.
Thank you, Sybil. I've listened TJMS for many years. I would be late for work trying to finish listening to part 2 of that crazy Huggy Lowdown before getting out of the car. I really miss the show.
Love you Sybil!! You are soo cute and talented with a warm personality. I hope you continue in the media. At any rate good luck at whatever you do as you continue your journey. I am sure your mom and dad would be soooo very proud of you.
Sybil, when TJMS shut down, y'all took a big part of my life with you. But I'm getting a little constellation through your "What You Need To Know" sediment. You are so talented I believe your true calling is to have your own show. You can do, Go For It Sybil

I used to listen on WTMP in Tampa until they changed their format. Then, I would try to get the show from the station out of Orlando, which was hit or miss (mostly miss) or I'd catch the highlights on line at the end of the day (had to get It's Your World and the Church Announcements). I haven't heard the show in a while but what a run. Thanks Tom, Sybil, and the rest of the gang.
I already miss you guys. I rode with the TJMS since you guys signed on in BR. I was so upset when I didn't hear you guys at the beginning of this year and learned they replaced TJMS with Nick & Sasha. What bonehead move. So live streaming it was. I so enjoyed listening to you guys. Tom pioneered the blueprint for the syndicated Urban radio shows today. He put together a wonderful cast of characters, Sybil being the one with the level head. I so enjoyed guys; the laughs, the educations, the Party With A Purpose and will miss you dearly. My mornings just won't be the same. No one can ever replace you. Thank you for 25 wonderful years! Praying for much success in your new endeavors. God bless.
