No different than the good ole days! Lottsa fun! Thsnk you for taking the time to show the younger guys how to do this. Thats really cool of you. Have a merry Christmas everyone!
What would be the better head for a boosted application in your opinion the motor I'm building is a 6.0 but I have a few different heads laying around I have a pair of 862 317 806 and one more pair I can't remember what they are lol
Kevin I think the best choice for boost is the iron heads from a 99-00 6.0 truck motor. If you dont have those then the 317 heads are the same but aluminum..
Sorry those aren't ported heads all you did was clean them up and make them shiny the areas that create horsepower and torque you didn't touch at all I've been porting for over 35 years now and porting is more than removing metal theirs shapes sizes for directional flow not to forget sometimes leaving metal is greater than removing it

Great work. No way I'd have that kind of patience
Half way though I was seriously thinking “I should have just paid the $400-500 to get these ported” lol
@@Shane_Whalley where can you get those ported for $400?
A buddy of mine showed me annawdosme valve trick. He made a jig with a bowl of water and you can wet sand the stems
oven cleaner works well for cleaning
Looks like you did porting on your ears.
Nice work you did a nice job
Cool beans content , like yer vs compressor
I dont know who you are, or how I found you, but Ive seen 1 other video of yours, and I am subscribing & hitting the bell icon
I have an 04 GTO with 241 heads with 862 heads make a difference I have a chance to grab a set
NICE EAR LOBE EARINGS ARE THOSE AFRICAN SPECIALS?
I think the only thing you showed was pressure washing the heads. What tools did you use to clean up the ports?
A $30 dremel and $10 carbid burr pack from amazon did it for me. We will see if it did anything good
Did you mic the guides for wear? How?
I would have cut them guides in them Runners flat
If you do this all the time, which looks like you do you should invest in a ultrasonic cleaning machine.
Did the EPA just get called.🤔

Can’t watch the ears are too gross
