      Half way though I was seriously thinking “I should have just paid the $400-500 to get these ported” lol

    I think the only thing you showed was pressure washing the heads. What tools did you use to clean up the ports?

    A $30 dremel and $10 carbid burr pack from amazon did it for me. We will see if it did anything good

    If you do this all the time, which looks like you do you should invest in a ultrasonic cleaning machine.

    What would be the better head for a boosted application in your opinion the motor I'm building is a 6.0 but I have a few different heads laying around I have a pair of 862 317 806 and one more pair I can't remember what they are lol

    • @dinkyray6876
      @dinkyray6876 4 года назад +1

      Kevin I think the best choice for boost is the iron heads from a 99-00 6.0 truck motor. If you dont have those then the 317 heads are the same but aluminum..

    Sorry those aren't ported heads all you did was clean them up and make them shiny the areas that create horsepower and torque you didn't touch at all I've been porting for over 35 years now and porting is more than removing metal theirs shapes sizes for directional flow not to forget sometimes leaving metal is greater than removing it
