This video makes my adult finches feed their baby finch. My finches weren't feeding their baby and I started to play them this video every few hours, because when they hear the sounds of these hungry babies they go to their baby and start to feed it.
mine were hurting all 4 of them the mom killed the 5th one in the beginning of their birth but once I fed all 4 baby birds I somehow changed the parents mind into taking care of them. the 4 birds are still alive today yay. they might come out of the nest anytime now.
I love them so much when they twist their heads up; my baby finches did this and I thought "wtf is wrong with this thing". So funny to watch again. My finches progressed really fast, they're feeding themselves.

+Nser Adeeb I started feeding them after they fledged from the nest about 14days after hatching from an egg, i bought this baby bird mix from the local petshop and dissolved it with some Babylyte, a re-hydrating liquid for babies, and i almost fed them every hour for 2weeks until they were able to eat some bird seeds on their own
I’m into canaries and finches for at least 30yrs of breeding! Never kept zebras though because of their aggressive behaviour in community aviaries! Had to safe a few birds from someone that could care for them anymore and there was a hand reared zebra in there! Needless to say he is the boss of my 100+ bird room! The little bugger is so adorable and smart...comes close for kisses and cuddles with me anytime!
I got two zebra finches both males once and one of the males almost killed the other one. There was no females in with them so I thought it would be fine. It wasn't, I had to re-home one of them . I always kept society finches I got my first bird when I was 12 . I got him at walmart when they use to sell birds lol. He died when I was 22 it broke my heart he was very tame and so sweet. I love canaries aslo , I now have three green cheek conures. I love them but they are so bad and destructive very time consuming also. I sometimes wish I had stuck with finches or canaries. I'm gonna have to get more toys for them and things for them to climb on cause I think they are just getting bored.
I cut and ground down the end of a tiny insulin needle for my dog. It’s so small- it’s probably still to big for them! This house finch I’ve been caring for is outgrowing it
