First, a helpful hint. You don't have to flip or filter anything from the Dreamcatcher official channel. I have never heard of anyone getting a copyright strike for reacting to any content on that channel. Dreamcatcher has literally asked people to react to their videos. They are fully aware that the exposure they receive from reacters like yourself have helped them so much during their career. They actually want people to react to their songs and MV's. Second, as many have already pointed out Scream is the first in the Dystopia trilogy, along with Boca and Odd Eye. The three MV's aren't so much a running story as they are a group of MV's with a related theme. The theme is about hate speech, cyber bullying and the dark side of the internet and social media. Fun fact: Scream = Hear no evil. It's about hearing things that make you want to scream Boca (the Spanish word for mouth) = Speak no evil. If you don't have anything good to say, keep your boca (mouth) shut. Odd Eye = See no evil. It's about what we see on the internet and social media. There's also a past - present - future/cyberpunk theme running through the MV's. There's also the Nightmare Series, which is made up of their first 6 title tracks and runs from Chase Me (their debut) to Piri, in release order. These MV's tell a dark story about how a group of boarding school girls get cursed and turned into nightmares. I won't get into much detail here because spoilers.

Avoid live stages unless they are from a vlive or from the official RUclips channel of the artist. Also, it's always a good idea to prompt the viewers to go watch the original MV and provide a link in the description to make it easier.

Dreamcatcher are very unique. They are the dark angels of Kpop and the only girl group who consistently incorporate Rock and Metal in their title tracks, fusing that with Kpop into something that basically is a new genre. They also are drenched in horror and social criticism, which again is special. Plus, they are massively talented, all of them. And while the girls look like they could rip your spine out when they are on stage, off stage they are adorable crackheads. 😉 Scream is part 1 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. It is mostly showing the victim's perspective of (cyber)bullying, comparing it to a medieval witch hunt. The tree is the tree of language, and it grows black fruit for every hurtful thing people say. Note also the hand gesture, it is the devil's horns introduced by Ronnie James Dio as a symbol for metal, but it originally was a gesture in the middle ages to ward off the evil eye, tying into the witch hunt theme. Part 2 of the trilogy is "Boca", and part 3 is "Odd Eye". You should react to them as well, and I would also suggest "Sahara", which is a self-made MV taking the lyrics very literally. Since no one else mentioned this, you may notice that in "Scream" one of the members is wearing a mask through the whole song, and in "BOCA" they perform as six rather than seven. Member Handong was in China from October 2019 to October 2020 - first participating in a survival show and then being stuck in her home city of Wuhan for many months due to the pandemic.The choreography for "Scream" held her place with a dancer in a mask and while "BOCA" was originally designed for six (for a while the company wasn't sure when or even if she would return), choreographer Hwang Sooyeon immediately updated it for the full group when Handong came back to Korea.

The follow-up video is "Boca" (meaning Mouth in Spanish). Together with "Odd Eye" (the 3rd and final MV), it is part of their Dystopia Series and is a commentary against online hatred, malicious comments, cyber bullying etc. In Scream, the imagery of an medieval traditional witch hunt (lyrics such as hands bound, stones thrown, burn under the fire etc, and choreography of surrounding someone pointing at a single person) is used to symbolized such online "witch hunt" which take place today where faceless anonymous people (theme of a mask used throughout the series) just post malicious comments and rumors just to hurt people and perhaps watch the world burn. "Boca" is more of them addressing such hatred by asking haters to shut their mouth and at the same time, saving both victims and the perpetrators of such hate messages. Lastly, "Odd Eye", it is more about a commentary of social media and the internet and about finding inner self-worth.

Scream is part of a trilogy, Boca is its continuation and ends with Odd Eye.... His latest release is BEcause, although it is not part of the trilogy, it is like an intermission between a new era of music. Although you can listen to any of his songs as they are very good, if you want to do it in order you can listen to the Nightmare series that starts with Fly High (prequel), Chase me, Good nigth, You and I', What and ends with Piri, also Breaking out but it is an additional song in Japanese that is taken as an alternative ending to the series. From there Deja vu which is a collaboration they did with a game and the song is really beautiful.... There are more songs especially in their B-sides that you can react to, but it would be better to recommend them after you have seen their main songs, since their b-sides are just as good and it is where they experiment more with various musical styles without a doubt they are a very versatile and talented group... As someone else also mentioned, you don't need to flip, transparent or filter Dreamcatcher MVs. They don't strike reactions. You will find them on their channels: Dreamcatcher Official, Happyface entertainment and ponycanyon (their former company for Japanese releases). Be sure to use these channels rather than if an MV is on a channel like 1theK or Genie Music. It's not that you would get a strike with those, but rather they often lack english subtitles/captions and better to send the views to their official channels. One such example is their You and I MV where 1theK has received the most views but doesn't have subtitles. You may find other special videos on channels other than their official channels and they are generally safe to react to without filtering. It's usually just the live performances that mat have issue since the strikes come from those broadcast channels at that point.

Scream, Boca & odd eye are apart of a trilogy, all of their title songs have a storyline behind it. This is their 2nd series called dystopia which has alot of genres mixed together with rock. While Chase me, goodnight, fly high, you and I, what & piri are apart of their first series nightmare which has alot heavier rock/pop sound. They also have singles like deja vu (game collab) & BEcause (horror movie inspired) So really it’s just a matter of where you wanna start but everything sounds amazing.

As many have posted scream is a trilogy of scream, boca and odd eye. Before that you had the nightmare saga of chase me, good night, fly high, you and I, what and piri. Stand alone tracks they’ve done for video games are deja vu and rose blue and BEcause their latest release is a stand alone music video was inspired by Jordan peele US. They have a lot of b sides and awesome tracks that are self made videos that are always fun. Dreamcatcher is probably the most unique kpop group considering no one has a sound like theirs.
The subtitles are very good 👍👍 'Scream' is the first song in the trilogy. The second 'Boca' and the third 'Odd Eye' are also recommended. And I personally recommend 'deja vu' 😘😘

Scream is the first part of the trilogy I'm sure all these lovely Insomnias has already told you the other two. the whole trilogy has a message on "bullying" whether its in person or online, and they are trying to help the fight against it. late, but yesss support dreamcatcher. They literally haven't earned any awards because their company is small and they don't get enough recognition in Korea. They do well internationally, but they need more fan support.
So not only did you somehow land on the beginning of the Dystopia trilogy (Scream --> Boca --> Odd Eye) but also you like rock elements and fantasy meaning you've def ended up reacting to the perfect group 💪 I'd recommend continuing the trilogy first because the 3 songs tie in together, in both story and style. Then I'd go with Deja Vu because of how you liked the visuals/fantasy side (it was done in collaboration with Kings Raid video game!). After that they have something of every rock infused genre so it's endless and there's something to every taste. Once you start saying which songs or styles you liked more, everyone will def give you more recs on what you would also enjoy. I always love watching first time reactions to dreamcatcher because it's just great how everyone gets taken by surprise (especially if there's already pre-conceived notions about how kpop sounds like). SCREAM is a pretty good choice to discover DREAMCATCHER. It's the first song of a trilogy (2 : BOCA // 3 : ODD EYE) You can hear their rock (Even metal) influence but still catchy like pop. They are really good in all aspects (Vocals, dance, rap, visuals, storyline). I hope you can react to more of their stuff.

The continuation of Scream is Boca and Odd eye, its a trilogy. You should react to Deja Vu too, the visuals and the songs are insane ! They have a dark, magical, horror, supernatural concept in most of their title track
too bad you couldn't have checked them out a couple weeks earlier for halloween \:D/ all dreamcatcher's songs are different and they have songs ranging from ballads to ones on the edge of metal. many of their songs blend different genres together but most have rock influence to varying degrees. scream is part 1 of the dystopia series which is a criticism of social media. part 2 is boca and part 3 is odd eye. I'm not sure if you had the english cc on, and if not you can do that in the future for lyrics which tend to be on the darker but yet inspirational side; dreamcatcher doesn't sing about love like many other pop groups typically do. the dystopia trilogy is more on the electronic side as you can tell with scream. many of their other title tracks are much more rock/metal influenced. you can also try 'chase me' which is the first part of their nightmare series.
The member you were describing at about 07:40, JiU (pronounced G U), was voted #1 in a Forbes Korea poll as K-pop visual queen a couple months ago. I’m not a huge fan of wild colored hair but that purple looks amazing on her. In another mv, Sahara, there are a couple of shots of her with the brightest blue hair I’ve ever seen. She’s great. They’re all great.
Since you said you loved the fantasy horror visuals and the rock elements I think you'll be in for a treat with dreamcatcher lol. Since they're only the 2nd group you've checked out I think it's important to mention that dreamcatcher are pretty unique in the kpop industry, rock music isn't very common for kpop groups and much less common for girl groups, this has caused them to not really have a massive fanbase in korea but rather have a relatively small but very dedicated fanbase with a lot of international fans. My recommendation for the next MV would be 'Deja Vu' the music video is one of their best in my opinion and I think you'd love the aesthetics. Also you don't really need to add any filters or effects to the video for your reactions to their MVs, the company are very reactor friendly and have even left a couple of thumbs up emojis in the comments of some reactions.

Blackpink was also my first exposure to Kpop and they are a great introduction to the genre, but I honestly wished someone had introduced me to Dreamcatcher sooner. Awesome you found Dreamcatcher! I've seen you react to Nightwish and Jinjer, so few also react to kpop! I love everything about them, the sound, the vocals, the style, the visuals. And the MV's are indeed like a story, love that so much! 😍 The only other group that does that I've found is Loona. Instead of metal they kinda experiment with all sorts of genres. That MV story runs through one video for each of the 12 members, plus a few subunit MV's making it the most ambitious and expensive kpop debut and not even by a big company. 12 girls may seem a bit daunting, but with the solo's they give each a different fitting song (and very nice duet b-sides). Having 12 members really makes their choreographies amazing. Dreamcatcher is my favourite group, but I still love this group that got me into K-pop! 🥰
No need to try avoid copyright with DC content 😄 I’ve never heard of anyone having issues. I mean their whole online concerts get uploaded here and HFE don’t care. If you’d like to get to know them better I recommend watching insomniscy’s this is- series. There’s a 2020 and a 2021 version for each member. They are more a rock fusion group so their title music from Scream onwards is more a mixture of different genres with different types of rock. Prior to that they were closer to Jrock in sound with a variety of rock genre title tracks. If you like DC you'd probably love the boy group Vixx who have a mystical fantasy theme as well and scream was somewhat inspired by their style. Their stories also don't have a happy ending, like the first arc which is six songs long has a bad ending, the dystopia trilogy starting with scream has a bad ending and their singles like Rose blue, deja vu and BEcause all end up with them trapped, dead or possessed or something.
Can I recommend you check out the rookie kpop girl group Pixy? They have great songs and some are kind of this style as well. I recommend their songs: Addicted Bewitched Wings
Dreamcatcher is the only KPOP group that I know that is more on the rock side and BlackPink in more on the HIP HOP side. There is also Mamamoo which is more on the R&B side. You have Boy bands like Day 6 and The Rose that play in the band and can sing as well with a Rock vibe.

First, a helpful hint. You don't have to flip or filter anything from the Dreamcatcher official channel. I have never heard of anyone getting a copyright strike for reacting to any content on that channel. Dreamcatcher has literally asked people to react to their videos. They are fully aware that the exposure they receive from reacters like yourself have helped them so much during their career. They actually want people to react to their songs and MV's.
Second, as many have already pointed out Scream is the first in the Dystopia trilogy, along with Boca and Odd Eye. The three MV's aren't so much a running story as they are a group of MV's with a related theme. The theme is about hate speech, cyber bullying and the dark side of the internet and social media.

Absolutely. Avoid anything from any of the major South Korean networks (SBS, KBS, etc.). Avoid live stages unless they are from a vlive or from the official RUclips channel of the artist.
Also, it's always a good idea to prompt the viewers to go watch the original MV and provide a link in the description to make it easier.

Dreamcatcher “Scream”, “Boca”, and “Odd Eye” music videos are a trilogy. If you like swords, Dreamcatcher uses a sword in “Deja Vu” music video. If you like Asian rock music, give Nemophila “Dissension” music video a try, Maximum the Hormone “Alien”, and anything by Babymetal are pretty good.

Dreamcatcher are very unique. They are the dark angels of Kpop and the only girl group who consistently incorporate Rock and Metal in their title tracks, fusing that with Kpop into something that basically is a new genre. They also are drenched in horror and social criticism, which again is special. Plus, they are massively talented, all of them. And while the girls look like they could rip your spine out when they are on stage, off stage they are adorable crackheads. 😉
Scream is part 1 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. It is mostly showing the victim's perspective of (cyber)bullying, comparing it to a medieval witch hunt. The tree is the tree of language, and it grows black fruit for every hurtful thing people say. Note also the hand gesture, it is the devil's horns introduced by Ronnie James Dio as a symbol for metal, but it originally was a gesture in the middle ages to ward off the evil eye, tying into the witch hunt theme.
Part 2 of the trilogy is "Boca", and part 3 is "Odd Eye". You should react to them as well, and I would also suggest "Sahara", which is a self-made MV taking the lyrics very literally. It gives a glimpse into their adorable crackhead personalities (and it rocks as well). 🤘😊🤘

Since no one else mentioned this, you may notice that in "Scream" one of the members is wearing a mask through the whole song, and in "BOCA" they perform as six rather than seven. Member Handong was in China from October 2019 to October 2020 - first participating in a survival show and then being stuck in her home city of Wuhan for many months due to the pandemic.The choreography for "Scream" held her place with a dancer in a mask and while "BOCA" was originally designed for six (for a while the company wasn't sure when or even if she would return), choreographer Hwang Sooyeon immediately updated it for the full group when Handong came back to Korea.

The follow-up video is "Boca" (meaning Mouth in Spanish). Together with "Odd Eye" (the 3rd and final MV), it is part of their Dystopia Series and is a commentary against online hatred, malicious comments, cyber bullying etc. In Scream, the imagery of an medieval traditional witch hunt (lyrics such as hands bound, stones thrown, burn under the fire etc, and choreography of surrounding someone pointing at a single person) is used to symbolized such online "witch hunt" which take place today where faceless anonymous people (theme of a mask used throughout the series) just post malicious comments and rumors just to hurt people and perhaps watch the world burn. "Boca" is more of them addressing such hatred by asking haters to shut their mouth and at the same time, saving both victims and the perpetrators of such hate messages. Scream is part of a trilogy, Boca is its continuation and ends with Odd Eye.... His latest release is BEcause, although it is not part of the trilogy, it is like an intermission between a new era of music. Although you can listen to any of his songs as they are very good, if you want to do it in order you can listen to the Nightmare series that starts with Fly High (prequel), Chase me, Good nigth, You and I', What and ends with Piri, also Breaking out but it is an additional song in Japanese that is taken as an alternative ending to the series. From there Deja vu which is a collaboration they did with a game and the song is really beautiful.... There are more songs especially in their B-sides that you can react to, but it would be better to recommend them after you have seen their main songs, since their b-sides are just as good and it is where they experiment more with various musical styles without a doubt they are a very versatile and talented group... In Korea, it was difficult to survive only with one rock genre, so it began to converge with K-pop. You can think of it as the beginning of the genre mix from SCREAM.

As someone else also mentioned, you don't need to flip, transparent or filter Dreamcatcher MVs. They don't strike reactions. You will find them on their channels: Dreamcatcher Official, Happyface entertainment and ponycanyon (their former company for Japanese releases). Be sure to use these channels rather than if an MV is on a channel like 1theK or Genie Music. It's not that you would get a strike with those, but rather they often lack english subtitles/captions and better to send the views to their official channels. One such example is their You and I MV where 1theK has received the most views but doesn't have subtitles. You may find other special videos on channels other than their official channels and they are generally safe to react to without filtering. It's usually just the live performances that mat have issue since the strikes come from those broadcast channels at that point.
If you like the fantasy horror genre, you need to check out Purple Kiss. They are a monster rookie group whose first official video dropped in March. Straight up witch coven visuals. The song is called Ponzona, which is Spanish gor venom.

Scream, Boca & odd eye are apart of a trilogy, all of their title songs have a storyline behind it. This is their 2nd series called dystopia which has alot of genres mixed together with rock.
While Chase me, goodnight, fly high, you and I, what & piri are apart of their first series nightmare which has alot heavier rock/pop sound.
They also have singles like deja vu (game collab) & BEcause (horror movie inspired)
So really it’s just a matter of where you wanna start but everything sounds amazing.

As many have posted scream is a trilogy of scream, boca and odd eye. Before that you had the nightmare saga of chase me, good night, fly high, you and I, what and piri. Stand alone tracks they’ve done for video games are deja vu and rose blue and BEcause their latest release is a stand alone music video was inspired by Jordan peele US. They have a lot of b sides and awesome tracks that are self made videos that are always fun. Dreamcatcher is probably the most unique kpop group considering no one has a sound like theirs.

Their title tracks are all storyline based.
Dreamcatcher (DC/Deukae) is an unique 7 member girl group. As far as I know, it's the only K-pop group which *CONSISTENTLY* infuse pop with rock/metal instrumentals within *ALL* their *TITLE TRACKS*.
I prefer calling them K-pop/rock group.
Their songs incorporate different genres blending rock/metal/synth sounds into the mix. Thus creating an unique blend of sound, which has become their signature. They're also known to produce dark/creepy concept, and their MVs are mostly story based, connecting one song to another.

So not only did you somehow land on the beginning of the Dystopia trilogy (Scream --> Boca --> Odd Eye) but also you like rock elements and fantasy meaning you've def ended up reacting to the perfect group 💪 I'd recommend continuing the trilogy first because the 3 songs tie in together, in both story and style. Then I'd go with Deja Vu because of how you liked the visuals/fantasy side (it was done in collaboration with Kings Raid video game!). After that they have something of every rock infused genre so it's endless and there's something to every taste. Once you start saying which songs or styles you liked more, everyone will def give you more recs on what you would also enjoy. I always love watching first time reactions to dreamcatcher because it's just great how everyone gets taken by surprise (especially if there's already pre-conceived notions about how kpop sounds like). The continuation of Scream is Boca and Odd eye, its a trilogy. You should react to Deja Vu too, the visuals and the songs are insane ! They have a dark, magical, horror, supernatural concept in most of their title track

all dreamcatcher's songs are different and they have songs ranging from ballads to ones on the edge of metal. many of their songs blend different genres together but most have rock influence to varying degrees. scream is part 1 of the dystopia series which is a criticism of social media. part 2 is boca and part 3 is odd eye. I'm not sure if you had the english cc on, and if not you can do that in the future for lyrics which tend to be on the darker but yet inspirational side; dreamcatcher doesn't sing about love like many other pop groups typically do. the dystopia trilogy is more on the electronic side as you can tell with scream. many of their other title tracks are much more rock/metal influenced. you can also try 'chase me' which is the first part of their nightmare series.
The member you were describing at about 07:40, JiU (pronounced G U), was voted #1 in a Forbes Korea poll as K-pop visual queen a couple months ago. I’m not a huge fan of wild colored hair but that purple looks amazing on her. In another mv, Sahara, there are a couple of shots of her with the brightest blue hair I’ve ever seen. She’s great. They’re all great.
Since you said you loved the fantasy horror visuals and the rock elements I think you'll be in for a treat with dreamcatcher lol. Since they're only the 2nd group you've checked out I think it's important to mention that dreamcatcher are pretty unique in the kpop industry, rock music isn't very common for kpop groups and much less common for girl groups, this has caused them to not really have a massive fanbase in korea but rather have a relatively small but very dedicated fanbase with a lot of international fans.
My recommendation for the next MV would be 'Deja Vu' the music video is one of their best in my opinion and I think you'd love the aesthetics. Also you don't really need to add any filters or effects to the video for your reactions to their MVs, the company are very reactor friendly and have even left a couple of thumbs up emojis in the comments of some reactions.
I have to say I’m super thankful to the people who recommended Dreamcatcher to you. Blackpink was also my first exposure to Kpop and they are a great introduction to the genre, but I honestly wished someone had introduced me to Dreamcatcher sooner. I've seen you react to Nightwish and Jinjer, so few also react to kpop! I love everything about them, the sound, the vocals, the style, the visuals. And the MV's are indeed like a story, love that so much! 😍
The only other group that does that I've found is Loona. Instead of metal they kinda experiment with all sorts of genres. That MV story runs through one video for each of the 12 members, plus a few subunit MV's making it the most ambitious and expensive kpop debut and not even by a big company. 12 girls may seem a bit daunting, but with the solo's they give each a different fitting song (and very nice duet b-sides). Having 12 members really makes their choreographies amazing. Dreamcatcher is my favourite group, but I still love this group that got me into K-pop! 🥰
No need to try avoid copyright with DC content 😄 I’ve never heard of anyone having issues. I mean their whole online concerts get uploaded here and HFE don’t care. If you’d like to get to know them better I recommend watching insomniscy’s this is- series. There’s a 2020 and a 2021 version for each member. There’s also a lot of Dreamcatcher being chaotic videos on their channel too🤣🤣 But I recommend checking out all their music. They also have really awesome B-sides

They are more a rock fusion group so their title music from Scream onwards is more a mixture of different genres with different types of rock. Prior to that they were closer to Jrock in sound with a variety of rock genre title tracks. If you like DC you'd probably love the boy group Vixx who have a mystical fantasy theme as well and scream was somewhat inspired by their style. Their stories also don't have a happy ending, like the first arc which is six songs long has a bad ending, the dystopia trilogy starting with scream has a bad ending and their singles like Rose blue, deja vu and BEcause all end up with them trapped, dead or possessed or something.

Dreamcatcher is the only KPOP group that I know that is more on the rock side and BlackPink in more on the HIP HOP side. There is also Mamamoo which is more on the R&B side. You have Boy bands like Day 6 and The Rose that play in the band and can sing as well with a Rock vibe.
