Nu‘Est are actually Seventeen‘s senior group who debuted in 2012 with the song who you reacted to. In 2022 they sadly disbanded only weeks for their 10th anniversary. As of now two members are still under Pledis as soloists and actor and the other three are under different company’s. Three of them are also currently in the military.

The members are discussing a comeback for years now but since they are under different companys in their home countrys (china,korea) its quite difficult to match their time, and ofc they have to ask sm if they can comeback, they like to pretend like f(x) didn;t exist in their company history.... Interesessting fact ist that one of the History members is now a famous DJ and in House producer for BIGHIT and their groups like TxT, BTS etc.
2nd gen has holy trinity Shinee, Infinite &Teen Top which were famous for their pro-level dance, synchronization, powerful energy and amazing live vocals.And as far as I know within the members of these 3 groups only Hoya of Infinite was a pro-dancer before debut. He's still active with a pro-dance group even competed in Street Man Fighter. All the rest trained in their companies. Infinite is the blueprint of synchronization in Kpop. They always had their own style more lyrical and modern dance like dancing.Seventeen are seen as the group that got the flag from them. Teen Top are the kings of footwork and high jumps of Kpop.Most of their choreo has insane shuffle or other footwork.They are like the blueprint. They were so crazy in their early years that they wouldn't tolerate even santimetric mistakes.(literally measured themselves using tape measures). And they never lip-sync always sing live. They used to practice so much that their producer Shinhwa's Andy said he had to kick them out of the practice room so they could rest. Actually all the 2nd gen groups were good and unique in their own way.That's why it's called the golden era. Other older groups you wouldn't see much recommended but should definitely check are SS501-Love Ya, MBLAQ Stay/This is war, B2st(now Highlight) Fiction/Breathe and for b-boying & acrobatics early 2PM. BAP started dark/powerful concepts in 3rd gen.When they stopped promoting because of the probs with their company Monsta X and BTS were their followers and they first got attention bec of their concepts being similar to BAP which was rare in Kpop back then.
Speed and history in 1 video now that's a throwback Fun fact Speed wasn't originally a group They were actually a sub unit the offical group was a co-ed group called Co-ed school debuted back in 2010 tho in 2013 the groups male sub unit Speed became a offical group and co-ed school disbanded The leader of Speed Taewoon is the older brother of rapper and BlockB member Zico Speed were known for their crazy stunts on stage Not a lot of artists do crazy stunts like this anymore If you like choreography with a lot of tricking acrobatics in it I would recommend DKB debuted in 2020 and the members choreograph themselves
