As the English lines in "Monster" say ... They're "Creeping, Creeping, Creeping .... Creeping in your heart babe" "You can call me Monster (because) I'm creeping in your heart babe." "She got me goin' crazy." The song's called "Monster," so the words are about acting like a monster: "Don't be afraid, love is the way ... I'm sorry, you make me sooo craaaazzzy, you know you dooooo." The song is about how they know they are bad for the person that they are in a relationship with, and they will most likely ruin them if that person stays with them. In the song, they are talking about how, I know that when we are over that I will have destroyed everything that is good about you, but I don't care because I want you so much that it doesn't matter to me. Therefore, it's good that "you can call me monster" because they are being straight forward and warning you from the very beginning, so you can't say you were blindsided by their actions. "The First Snow" is a B-side song on one of their winter albums (They have more than one winter/holiday album). There isn't an MV, so you will have to look for a live performance. The song is about the magic of the first snowfall of the season and how it's the perfect atmosphere to fall in love. This song is so popular that you can hear it being played all over the place in Korea on the first day it snows, and it's pretty much considered a winter anthem that gets played nonstop all season long, especially around the holidays. "Don't Go" is another B-side so yet again there is no MV. But it's a song they often perform live in concert, so I encourage you to react to a concert performance of the song. The choreography incorporates that butterfly that they make with their hands, so that's why Chanyeol made a butterfly. The song's even more beautiful when you see the choreography that goes with it. EXO's "Power" is one of their main track songs with an MV. It was also used as one of the theme songs, along with their song "Growl," during the 2018 winter Olympics. EXO even performed both songs during the closing ceremony. As "the nation's boy group," EXO was the only Kpop group to be selected to perform at the Olympics. If you like the sound of "Power" in this video, just wait until you see their live concert performance of the remixed version of the song. You should check out their "Diamond" + "Coming Over" + "Run This" + "Drop That" + "Power" set at their EXOPLANET #4 The ElyXiOn in Seoul in 2017. One of a few groups that can actually sing in kpop industry, three of the best singers of kpop are in this groups, besides Kai who is one of the bestest dancer and Kyungsoo who is probably the best idol/actor of South Korea.
Let me just say that you shouldn't judge any of these songs based solely on this performance. EXO is amazing. They are vocal kings. This performance did a fantastic job at demonstrating that, but that being said, some of these song arrangements are different from the actual song. Specifically, the instrumentation is lowered so their vocals are showcased more. For the songs that aren't hitting you as strong, you should check out the MV or, better yet, a live performance and then make your determination. EXO rearrange a lot of their songs according to the performance, so even live performances at concerts sound different than the album versions.

Man didn't like the three most iconic song that can summarize whole K-pop😮 Mama was and is one of the best debut and the start of todays k-pop( innovative,and like 12 years ahead of it's time) If you ever tried to listen the whole song, it will blow you up with it's innovative take, not many group has guts to pull off orchestra /Rock/ RnB together, especially for their debut. Overdose is another iconic song, "Someone call the Doctor" has been used in so many variety shows, dramas😆 I think you like more upbeat songs, but tbh, EXO is more known for their RnB soul sound, they do have many many song that will fulfill your liking.As EXO's Discography is one of the richest in K-pop. EXO is also known for their Ballads and winter releases, the songs you felt Kdrama vibes , EXO is also the group who has done most K-drama song, If you might know just don't know they are by EXO members. Monster is the song that opened a new place for dark EDM song in K-pop, you will see many artists follow EXO after Monster's huge successes. Don't Go(Butterfly Girl) is a fan service song, a song created to represent their relationship with fans, which is why it sound so fairy like, most groups do have this type of songs, this type of song are usually played in the last of their concert as encore.

I am new to exo and discovered them recently. My most favourite in kpop right now. Not an exaggeration but a music lover, so i found their r&b like amazing. Osts, pop or artictic songs are incomparable. Honestly dingo was one of my initial video and dint get much to oraise them. But see these songs with mvs and the Dance sessions. You will appreciate them like anything❤

I would suggest for you to watch the music videos of the songs you did not like as much (GROWL, MAMA, OVERDOSE) as well as the rest, as EXO music can be a Hit or Miss sometimes, as they experiment a lot, it was the same for me...
On EXO's Killing Voice video, those "English" subs weren't entirely accurate because you were using "auto-generated" captions. The reason why the English subs weren't working all the time and they were often just gibberish was because there are no English subs on this video. If you click on the CC button and it says "English (Auto-generated)," this means these are subs that are designed for the hearing impaired and they only work on videos where they are speaking English. The way auto generated subs work is the computer listens to what is being said in the audio on the video and it attempts to interpret what is being said in English. Therefore, on a video like this where they are speaking in Korean most of the time, the computer is trying to find English words that sound like the Korean words that it hears, it's not translating the Korean into English. The only time the subs are correct is when there is an English word or line in the lyrics or they say something in English. And if you are using auto translate, those subs are usually only correct about 10% of the time because the computer has to try and decipher slang, it has to pick up on different accents and how a person annunciates words, and it makes it work even harder to understand things when they are speaking more than one language or English words with Korean pronunciations, etc. (You're better off just turning the subs off.) However, if you were to click on the CC button and it just says "English," this means either the company or a fan has taken the time to translate what they are saying in Korean, or whatever language they are speaking, into English. Also, please try not to sniff directly into your microphone. The sound is extremely loud and it's unpleasant like fingernails on a chalkboard.

"Call Me Baby," was released in 2015 and it's an EXO classic that has an MV, but the song is even better when you hear them sing their acoustic version live.
"Sing For You" came out in 2015 and it is literally, as the title says, EXO singing to EXO-Ls (EXO's fans). This song has an MV and it's all part of EXO's storyline. This song was released after 3 of their Chinese members left the group, so it's also a promise and apology song to EXO-Ls.
As you just saw, "Miracles in December" is a song that is only sung by EXO's three main vocalists, Chen, Baekhyun and D.O. However, you will see all the EXO members in the MV because it tells another part of EXO's story.
There is no MV for "The Eve" because it's a B-side track. However, it's the B-side song that they promoted with, along with their lead track "Ko Ko Bop," so they have a dance practice video for the song you will have to check out. "The Eve" is one of their most iconic songs and performances.
EXO debuted in 2012 with their song "Mama." When you watch that MV and get to know EXO better, you will understand why D.O. was making jokes and they were all laughing when he introduced "Mama." EXO's debut and group concept is unlike anything you have ever seen before and "Mama" is one of the most epic debut songs and MVs ever created. This is the song and MV that explains EXO's entire storyline and concept. If you are ever going to understand anything about EXO you have to watch BOTH their EXO-K (Korean) and EXO-M (Mandarin Chinese) versions of their "Mama" MVs.
From what you just heard, you can't even begin to judge whether you like "Mama" or not because there is so much more of the song that you haven't heard. I think you will change your mind once you see the MV and hear the whole song.
"Overdose" is about overdosing on love like a drug and been trapped within a maze, so the sound of the song is supposed to be disorienting because you are supposed to feel like they are being brainwashed and unable to find their way out, etc. This song has an MV.
As the English lines in "Monster" say ... They're "Creeping, Creeping, Creeping .... Creeping in your heart babe" "You can call me Monster (because) I'm creeping in your heart babe." "She got me goin' crazy." The song's called "Monster," so the words are about acting like a monster: "Don't be afraid, love is the way ... I'm sorry, you make me sooo craaaazzzy, you know you dooooo." The song is about how they know they are bad for the person that they are in a relationship with, and they will most likely ruin them if that person stays with them. In the song, they are talking about how, I know that when we are over that I will have destroyed everything that is good about you, but I don't care because I want you so much that it doesn't matter to me. Therefore, it's good that "you can call me monster" because they are being straight forward and warning you from the very beginning, so you can't say you were blindsided by their actions.
"The First Snow" is a B-side song on one of their winter albums (They have more than one winter/holiday album). There isn't an MV, so you will have to look for a live performance. The song is about the magic of the first snowfall of the season and how it's the perfect atmosphere to fall in love. This song is so popular that you can hear it being played all over the place in Korea on the first day it snows, and it's pretty much considered a winter anthem that gets played nonstop all season long, especially around the holidays.
"Don't Go" is another B-side so yet again there is no MV. But it's a song they often perform live in concert, so I encourage you to react to a concert performance of the song. The choreography incorporates that butterfly that they make with their hands, so that's why Chanyeol made a butterfly. The song's even more beautiful when you see the choreography that goes with it.
EXO's "Power" is one of their main track songs with an MV. It was also used as one of the theme songs, along with their song "Growl," during the 2018 winter Olympics. EXO even performed both songs during the closing ceremony. As "the nation's boy group," EXO was the only Kpop group to be selected to perform at the Olympics. If you like the sound of "Power" in this video, just wait until you see their live concert performance of the remixed version of the song. You should check out their "Diamond" + "Coming Over" + "Run This" + "Drop That" + "Power" set at their EXOPLANET #4 The ElyXiOn in Seoul in 2017.
"Cream Soda" is their most recent song that was just released in July, and the whole reason why they were on Dingo's Killing Voice was to promote this song and album, which is why the performed the whole song. (LOL, if you think "Cream Soda" is about a soft drink, then you really need to look up the MV and look at the English translation of the lyrics. EXO are not talking about a beverage. 😉)
Glad to see more reactions coming from US. Have been a fan of EXO for years and live in US. When you can listen to the entire songs you may change your minds about other songs. Just hearing a small section

One of a few groups that can actually sing in kpop industry, three of the best singers of kpop are in this groups, besides Kai who is one of the bestest dancer and Kyungsoo who is probably the best idol/actor of South Korea.
Let me just say that you shouldn't judge any of these songs based solely on this performance. EXO is amazing. They are vocal kings. This performance did a fantastic job at demonstrating that, but that being said, some of these song arrangements are different from the actual song. Specifically, the instrumentation is lowered so their vocals are showcased more. For the songs that aren't hitting you as strong, you should check out the MV or, better yet, a live performance and then make your determination. EXO rearrange a lot of their songs according to the performance, so even live performances at concerts sound different than the album versions.

Mama was and is one of the best debut and the start of todays k-pop( innovative,and like 12 years ahead of it's time) If you ever tried to listen the whole song, it will blow you up with it's innovative take, not many group has guts to pull off orchestra /Rock/ RnB together, especially for their debut.
Growl, the first song is literally Face of K-pop, it's another name is 2nd national Anthem of Korea, like there is a phrase in Korea,"if you don't know Growl, you are spy from north Korea"😂Every idol who debuted after 2012, covered growl, It often looks like if you don't know the song, you can't debut.Again I am sure you will like the whole song, it has one the most iconic choreography.
Overdose is another iconic song, "Someone call the Doctor" has been used in so many variety shows, dramas😆
I think you like more upbeat songs, but tbh, EXO is more known for their RnB soul sound, they do have many many song that will fulfill your liking.As EXO's Discography is one of the richest in K-pop. EXO is also known for their Ballads and winter releases, the songs you felt Kdrama vibes , EXO is also the group who has done most K-drama song, If you might know just don't know they are by EXO members.
Monster is the song that opened a new place for dark EDM song in K-pop, you will see many artists follow EXO after Monster's huge successes.
Don't Go(Butterfly Girl) is a fan service song, a song created to represent their relationship with fans, which is why it sound so fairy like, most groups do have this type of songs, this type of song are usually played in the last of their concert as encore.

I am new to exo and discovered them recently. My most favourite in kpop right now. Not an exaggeration but a music lover, so i found their r&b like amazing. I would suggest for you to watch the music videos of the songs you did not like as much (GROWL, MAMA, OVERDOSE) as well as the rest, as EXO music can be a Hit or Miss sometimes, as they experiment a lot, it was the same for me...

On EXO's Killing Voice video, those "English" subs weren't entirely accurate because you were using "auto-generated" captions.
The reason why the English subs weren't working all the time and they were often just gibberish was because there are no English subs on this video. If you click on the CC button and it says "English (Auto-generated)," this means these are subs that are designed for the hearing impaired and they only work on videos where they are speaking English. The way auto generated subs work is the computer listens to what is being said in the audio on the video and it attempts to interpret what is being said in English. Therefore, on a video like this where they are speaking in Korean most of the time, the computer is trying to find English words that sound like the Korean words that it hears, it's not translating the Korean into English. The only time the subs are correct is when there is an English word or line in the lyrics or they say something in English.
And if you are using auto translate, those subs are usually only correct about 10% of the time because the computer has to try and decipher slang, it has to pick up on different accents and how a person annunciates words, and it makes it work even harder to understand things when they are speaking more than one language or English words with Korean pronunciations, etc. (You're better off just turning the subs off.)
However, if you were to click on the CC button and it just says "English," this means either the company or a fan has taken the time to translate what they are saying in Korean, or whatever language they are speaking, into English.
Also, please try not to sniff directly into your microphone. The sound is extremely loud and it's unpleasant like fingernails on a chalkboard.
