That was a bit cheeky 7th not allowing you to go. Technically they can not stop you if you volunteer. But then you would have volunteered for 7th in the first place.

Hey, Just wondered is there any chance of getting into 148/4/73 going through ASO? or do you have to join as a LG to get in?
can you join the royal marines, do their training and then join 148, because i watched the video on the royal marines RUclips and it confused me in what their place in 29 commando is.
29 commando is an army regiment attached to 3 commando brigade (the royal marines). you join by joining the royal artillery in the army and completing the all arms commando course
You can join 148 as bootneck but you would be a jtac they have navy attachments to
