Because of my sinful flesh, I often wonder about my salvation. I have faith in Christ's life, death and resurrection. I believe in the promises of Scripture, but knowing my own digustingness, it's difficult to believe that these promises would include me. It's difficult to receive a gift that you know you don't deserve. Lord I believe, help my unbelief.
If we are alive to the fact we are vile, undeserving (of Christ Jesus) wretched, woeful and deserving only the very wrath of God. Then, I think there is hope for us. Because only the Holy Spirit can convict us of sin, righteousness, and judgement.
(John 16: 8-11)
Alarm bells will blare out if you have said :
" I believe I am a good enough person (for Jesus Christ) to go to heaven "....many unsaved souls and even church going 'professing' Christians believe they are (in and of themselves) right with good, when infact, they are not.
This is how I feel and unfortunately I have heavy heavy fear issues that make me want to run & it hinders growth & progress in my walk. 😓

Ummm 🤔 I understand. After becoming a born again christian, I backslid (and for many years, too).
After the Lord bought me back, I began suffering from panic attacks, suicidal, blasphemy thoughts, and much condemnation each time I strayed into sin.
Until I began to study God's word, listened to sound preaching/ sermons online, that I began to understand truth/doctrine and my position in Christ Jesus. Now I realise a lot of what happened was from the enemy. But I thank God and the Lord Jesus Christ that all those trials I suffered only served to strengthen my faith in Christ and prepared me for my calling, which is to preach the gospel.
So dearly beloved in Jesus...hang in there and look unto Christ.

@@stephenwan6415 Aren't you afraid to meet Him face to face and stand there while He goes over your entire life at judgment? I understand that we're forgiven and it's a reward thing but I'm petrified
