      @@djparsons7363 You really have no idea what you're talking about the 144,000 are here right now. Why do you people continue to insist on pushing that everything has already been completed? Nothing has been completed except the work of the cross. Jesus said we would do greater things than he for a reason, imqgine 144,000 Apostles...God is still on his throne and he has saved the best until now. Well not exactly this very moment, but soon. Very soon. Isaiah 46:10 says God has shown the end from the beginning and from ancient times, well the 144,000 are mentioned at the end in the book of Revelation. So if God has shown the end from the beginning then the 144,000 have to be found somewhere at the beginning!
      Right? 1Ki 6:20 And the (( oracle in the forepart )) was twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the height thereof: and he overlaid it with pure gold; and so covered the altar which was of cedar.
      Oracle of the forepart means Holy of Holies....and 20x20x20=8000 length times width times height then a cubit is 18 inches and 8000 times 18=144,000 cubic cubits...the 144,000 are the Holiest of all... 2Co 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
      1Co 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
      1Co 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

    The English word "BELIEVE" (verb) in the Spiritual context and meaning is like a Collective Noun (ex. Family, Company, Choir, Herd, etc.) which comes with 3 Components for the Salvation of Mankind, "By GRACE of God through FAITH in Christ Jesus that manifests in good/righteous WORKS."
    Therefore, in conclusion, the Spiritual Formula/Equation for Mankind Salvation is... [ GRACE (+) FAITH (x) WORK (=) SALVATION ]... (ref. John 3:15 / 3:36 / 11:25-26 /James 2:1-24 )...
    While St. Paul's letter to the Ephesians and Romans (ref. Eph. 2:8-9 / Rom. 3:20) means that "Personal WORKS (Efforts) ALONE" and "WORKS of the LAW" can not SAVE us... But for our Personal "WORKS" (efforts) to be accepted as Righteous in the Eyes/Sight of God... "WORK" must come first with "GRACE" of/from/by God through "FAITH" in Christ Jesus...
    That is the ORDER of SALVATION (Grace, Faith, and Work) for Father God/YHWH is a "God of ORDER" and not of Chaos or Confusion... (ref. 1 Corin. 14:33)...
    Facts and Truth, Biblically and Logically speaking... Praise be to God in Christ Jesus... Amen.

      @Repent-j3m My apologies. 🙏
      The justification by faith James writes about is exactly the same justification by faith Paul writes about in Romans, bcoz James and Paul preached the same message - salvation thru faith and obedience (faith and works).
      The only difference is, James says faith is completed by works (2:22), whereas in Romans, Paul is referring to INITIAL justification, which is by faith.
      Paul didn't preach justification/salvation by faith alone - this is obvious from 1Cor 6 and Gal 5, where he warns Christians (ie. those with faith) that their sins can result in them not inheriting the kingdom of God. in other words, disobeying God's commandments can result in eternal damnation.
      God bless.

      @@AndrewLane-pm2ro I’m aware that if faith is not accompanied by obedience it cannot save one but before we can repent and live holy lives we must first believe otherwise our past sins will still be unwashed. What I was referring to is how we are declared righteous before God.

    • @AndrewLane-pm2ro
      @AndrewLane-pm2ro 5 месяцев назад

      @Repent-j3m I agree. As the Good Book says, without faith, it's impossible to please God.
      But having accepted the gift of faith, we must then repent and strive for a holy life:
      "As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in all your conduct; since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” And if you invoke as Father him who judges each one impartially according to his deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile." (1Peter 1:14-17)
      The words, "conduct yourselves with fear" refers to the fearful possibility of eternal damnation for the believer who leads a life of sin (disobedience).

    We have heard it a million times: we are saved by faith alone. That statement is nowhere found in scripture. The scriptures never even say we are justified by faith alone. Justification is what brings salvation as we are declared righteous because of Christ's shed blood. When we trust in Jesus and believe in his name, we are made right with God. We are justified of all that the law could not justify us from.
    However, the scripture states that we are not justified by faith alone. Therefore, salvation cannot be a once for all single act of faith in a moment of time. The scriptures everywhere teach that salvation is a process involving not just justification but also sanctification and glorification.
    That single act of justification in a moment of time brings the forgiveness of sin and puts a person into Christ. They have passed from death to life. As long as they remain in Christ, they will be sanctified and eventually glorified. As Jesus said, those who endure to the end will be saved.

      Those passages prove my point you know? Anyone who receives Jesus as Savior becomes the elect & the chosen. God sent His Son to redeem everyone from the sting of death caused by sin after 👿 hoodwink in the Garden... not just a special favored pre-selected few as taught by Calvin... that would give 👿 more souls by God's pre-choosing only some (& few at that according to Calvin) to irresistibly turn to Christ.
      All CAN call upon Jesus for salvation. No one is prevented or forbidden. It is cult-like & narcissistic to teach "It's just us four & no more who God has chosen to spend eternity with Him...all others have been prepared as vessels for destruction & will get the wrath they deserve, but not us...yep it's a hard pill to swallow but Calvin said so & we choose to follow Calvin"

Him saying we are saved by believing in Jesus...at first is true, but he doesn't divulge his Calvinistic theology then, it can mislead the listener thinking anyone/everyone CAN believe in Jesus for salvation. When he speaks the second time, his Calvinism comes out. He is a self admitted unashamed Calvinist, believing & teaching: Only a pre-selected few will irresistibly turn to Christ, all others can't, they have been made vessels prepared for destruction with no hope, grace or mercy offered to them & are to fry for eternity for God's glory.

    Scriptures say we must rightly divide His word. The key, the most correct cutting of His word is that between the gospel of Jesus and the gospel of the risen Christ. And smack dab in the middle is the most important event in the history of the universe: the cross.
    These radically different gospels are of to and for two radically different groups which have two radically different destinations. And they are NOT to be mixed because doing so just causes chaos and confusion and brings great joy to Satan.
    The gospel of Jesus is to the Jews and their proselytes, to the Israelites, the bride of the Lambkin, the circumcisionists. They are under law and if they repent of their sins they are forgiven. For those who deeply believe in their Messiah, perform good works and endure to the end, they will be win entrance into the Kingdom of heaven on earth and help our Lord reconcile earthlings with His Father.
    By HUGE CONTRAST, the gospel of our risen Christ was revealed to only Paul and is for the nations, the Gentiles, the Jews who have renounced their Jewishness, the uncircumcisionists, the body of Christ. This group is under grace and are justified (declared Not Guilty) by God and thus have no need to repent and ask for let alone receive forgiveness. They were chosen before the disruption of the world and are not appointed to wrath. Thus they are snatched away before the tribulation begins. Their destination is in the heavens where they will help our Lord reconcile to His Father ITS inhabitants, Satan and Co.
    All others will still be gifted salvation after the consummation before which our Lord abolishes the last enemy, death.
    Humans have a will, but only God's is FREE, uncaused, unhindered, uninfluenced. Romans 12:3: God parts to each the measure of faith. John 12:39: Therefore they could not believe. The hardening of Pharoah's heart. Nebacanezzer made to graze with the cows for seven years. Two very powerful rulers. God locks up all in stubbornness disobedience nonbelief so that eventually He will have mercy on all.

    • @johnirish989
      @johnirish989 7 месяцев назад

      Good works by the body of Christ are preferred but are NOT required. Both James and Paul say are salvation is not based on adherence to the law because Jesus only was capable of fulfilling it. James says faith is dead without good works, which the circumcisionists are to do quietly (without the need or desire for human recognition) while waiting for His return. Paul suggests a preference for good works but not a requirement. Members of both groups are judged on their works but not concerning their eonion salvation but their eonion ALLOTMENT, that is, the position of authority they will receive in the 1000 years and beyond.

    • @johnirish989

    The verse (1 JOHN 3:7) warns us not to be deceived. We are only "RIGHTEOUS" as "JESUS IS RIGHTEOUS" if we have repented and turned from all our unrighteousness [SIN]. One cannot be a saint and a sinner at the same time. One cannot be obedient and disobedient at the same time. One cannot be clean and unclean at the same time. One cannot be righteous and unrighteous at the same time. One cannot be holy and unholy at the same time. We are either one or the other.
    -----------------------
    BIBLICAL SIN: Fornication [PRE-MARITAL SEX], adultery, lust, lying, stealing, addiction, drunkenness, disobedience to parents, un-forgiveness, pride, envy, jealousy, strife, gossip, slander, discord, hate, fits of rage, malice, effeminate [FEMININE MALES], transgenderism, homo sexuality, vanity, gluttony, selfish ambition, greed, covetousness, idolatry, extortion, debauchery, witchcraft, murder and dis-belief.
    -----------------------
    (1 Corinthians 15:34) “(AWAKE TO RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND SIN NOT); for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame”
    (Romans 6:16) “Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of (OBEDIENCE LEADING TO RIGHTEOUSNESS?)”
    (1 John 2:29) "If you know that He [JESUS] is righteous, you know that everyone who (PRACTICES RIGHTEOUSNESS) is born of Him [JESUS]"
    (1 John 3:6-8) “(WHOSOEVER ABIDETH IN HIM [JESUS] SINNETH NOT): whosoever sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him [JESUS]. Little children, let no one deceive you. (HE WHO DOETH RIGHTEOUSNESS IS RIGHTEOUS, JUST AS HE [JESUS] IS RIGHTEOUS. HE THAT COMMITTETH SIN IS OF THE DEVIL)”
    (1 John 3:10) "Whoever does not (PRACTICE RIGHTEOUSNESS) is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother”
    (Titus 2:11-13) “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, (WE SHOULD LIVE SOBERLY, RIGHTEOUSLY, AND GODLY), in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ”
    (Ezekiel 3:20-21) “Again, (WHEN A RIGHTEOUS MAN DOTH TURN FROM HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND COMMIT INIQUITY) [SIN], and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless if thou (WARN THE RIGHTEOUS MAN, THAT THE RIGHTEOUS SIN NOT), and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul”
    (Luke 5:31-32) And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the (RIGHTEOUS) [THE OBEDIENT], but sinners to repentance”
    (Matthew 5:6) Jesus said, “Blessed are they which do hunger and (THIRST AFTER RIGHTEOUSNESS): for they shall be filled”
    (Matthew 6:33) Jesus said, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and (HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS); and all these things shall be added unto you”
    (Matthew 5:10) Jesus said, “Blessed are they which are persecuted for (RIGHTEOUSNESS) sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (ALSO READ 2 TIMOTHY 3:12)
    (Proverbs 15:29) “The Lord is far from the wicked: but (HE HEARETH THE PRAYER OF THE RIGHTEOUS)” (READ ALSO JOHN 9:31)
    (Matthew 5:20) Jesus said, "For I say unto you, That except (YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS) shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, (YE SHALL IN NO CASE ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN)"
    -----------------------
    We are commanded to “WALK” just as “JESUS WALKED” (1 JOHN 2:6). We are commanded to “PURIFY OURSELVES” just as "JESUS IS PURE” (1 JOHN 3:3). We are commanded to be “HOLY” just as “GOD IS HOLY” (1 PETER 1:14-16 2 ● CORINTHIANS 7:1). We are commanded to be “RIGHTEOUS” just as "JESUS IS RIGHTEOUS” (1 JOHN 3:7 ● 1 JOHN 2:29). We are commanded to be “PERFECT” as “OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN IS PERFECT” (MATTHEW 5:48). We are commanded to "GO AND SIN NO MORE" (JOHN 5:14 ● JOHN 8:11).

      Romans 3:20 “Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.”
      Read Romans 7:1-6 and wherever there is a pronoun, change it to your name - doing this will help you understand it. Write it out on a piece of paper. And where it speaks of the woman/wife - insert your wife’s name (assuming you are a man - but as applicable). Read it as many times as it takes to where it makes sense to you - 25 times if you must.
      “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” - To be very straight, you haven’t gone for one hour of your life perfect - and you never will. So if your measure of success is your ability to be perfect like God you are going to drive yourself insane. It cannot be done. We are made perfect through Jesus the Christ. Our sins are washed whiter than snow. You cannot attain perfection here - and you will not find any example in the Bible where someone did - not even Paul.
      Romans 7:21-25 “So this is the principle I have discovered: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law. But I see another law at work in my body, warring against the law of my mind and holding me captive to the law of sin that dwells within me. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God, through Jesus Christ our Lord!”

    You have to believe. - multiple scriptures
    You have to repent - multiple scriptures
    You have to be baptized - multiple scriptures
    You have to receive the Holy Spirit - multiple scriptures
    That is just the way to achieve your salvation.
    Once you have your salvation intact you must do other things to retain your salvation.

    All those scriptures he ignored in order to support his "faith alone" doctrine!

    Paul Washer the Humanist back at it again……. remember that you are responsible for your salvation, not Christ. The sacrifice on the cross is just an idea, but to truly be saved you must do certain things in order for God to react and grant you salvation.
    Wait does that not sound right? That’s what Paul Washer teaches, so take it up with him. Beware of Humanism in the guise of Salvation

    • @Psalm146-2
      @Psalm146-2 7 месяцев назад +2

      You know very well he’s not a humanist and you know very well that Paul believes “For by grace are ye saved through faith.” But let me ask you this… when you were first saved were you able to articulate the Gospel like you were able to 10 years later? Were you able to articulate it better 20 years after you were saved? 30 years? Yes, you were able to articulate it better and time went on and your understanding was refined. So would it have been right to call you a humanist when you didn’t articulate it so well? No. Because it is a journey where God blesses us with increased understanding the longer we walk with Him. You didn’t figure it out of your own intelligence, I haven’t figured it out of my own intelligence, and Paul hasn’t figured it out based on his intelligence - we understand because we’ve been blessed by God. So instead of speaking so arrogantly as though you were somehow superior how about a little humility and stop cutting people down if they don’t communicate it perfectly?

    • @Zedek_PhD
      @Zedek_PhD 7 месяцев назад

      No. Anyone who teaches that we have to/can do or need to do in order to be saved is a humanist in the guise of a Christian. It’s pure advocation in us doing something that leads to our salvation that others will not have unless they do it as well. That’s the definition of humanism. Although men like him speak highly of Christ and the work on the cross, his accomplished mission of saving creation is at worst a fairy tale in their subconscious and at best his sacrifice was not enough even though it was. Humanism not Christ
