My husband was saved after reading Revelation with another unbeliever (as they were partying). He said to himself that if that's true, he didn't want to go through that. He went to church (christian), and a couple of Sundays later, he trusted in God and believed Jesus died for him. He has walked with Christ since.😊 Plus, he has not stopped reading his Bible daily. BTW Revelation is true!!!!
Oh how I agree with you! I have a written a book on Revelation that I have been working on for 42 years. Should be out on Amazon in couple months: The Last Prophecy of Christ. Amazing book-Revelation.
Dittos. Brilliant but so relatable and funny. No profound concept he could not explain in a clear, understandable way. God gifted him well. Yes indeed, my favorite among the giants.
Everyone needs to hear this sermon as most people, and even some Christians don't know this. He was such a gifted teacher and this sermon has to be one of his best !❤
I actually donated saved from What to a thrift store. I must say it breaks my heart that when you look in these stores the donated you see is Joyce Myers, Rick Warren, and such. I don't want to assume we don't share as much, we're probably fewer but I encourage everyone to share your theology books. The options at these thrift stores are pitiful. 😢
Brother John MacArthur is usually my favorite speaker.. but, our Heavenly Father does not have favorites.. so, i am trying to [*discipline myself to] listen to others like-minded speakers, also..
All the ministers from Legionnaire Ministeries...Reformation Bibke College. Sanford, FL you will find there NOT ONLY John McArthur...but other likeminded teachers.
When we die we go into the ground from dust we came and Industrial return at Jesus Second Coming we will go into the New Jerusalem in the new Earth where Jesus Will Rule and reign in Jerusalem heaven on Earth no Harps and clouds
RC Sproul's life work boiled down in a song. "Jesus loves me, this I know. As for you, I don't think so. Only some to Him belong. We are right and you are wrong. Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! Aren't you happy and proud that God chose us for heaven and decided not to fry us in Hell like everyone else! 'Eenie Meenie Miney Moe, this one goes to heaven off to hell another one goes!' But then again, I hope this isn't evanescent grace that I'm walking in and instead I'm actually deceived and one of the reprobates that He created to burn as a candle for His glory in Hell forever." TRUTH IN LOVE
I have listened to several pastors who I believe are Calvinist and I will say I have agreed with some things they talk about but I have been listening to this guy you mentioned I have listened to 4 episodes of his teachings now and a lot of it makes sense what he’s saying and teaching on One thing I have learned as a young Christian is how important context is also
Also like how he covered on church history I always was concerned what happened in the earlier churches how so many different doctrines and beliefs came from the early church and it’s starting to make sense now with how he broke it down
What was the decisive cause of your faith in Christ? The Calvinist says "The cause of my faith was Christ." The Arminian says "The cause of my faith in Christ was myself." There's way more to it than that (Depravity,Election, Atonement,New birth, perseverance, naming faith, etc), but the original question definitely identifies which "camp" one subscribes to. Both are biblically based. Both rely on scripture to form a differing perspective (and somewhat opposing view) with either viewpoint, the other can always point to scripture and say "yea, but what about THIS?" Both believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. I don't believe either have lost salvation because of it. I prefer to understand what I can of each and move on without firmly planting my feet in either camp. Are those that attack him so righteous as to also say "ALL protestants or ALL Catholics" are lost? I cannot. With all that said: I think RC Sproul (in the Calvinist camp) is an awesome teacher.
@@The_Lord_has_it defeating Calvinism with scripture by Brandon holthaus on sermon audio online. It has 1-30 episodes or so of him teaching on the verses Calvinist use to defend and back up their theology. I would highly recommend you do study and learn what others believe, their are many posing as light but are actually dark. If it happened in the early church it’s definitely happening now in this day of the church age. I use to listen to tons of Calvinistic teachings and now going into it with an open mind I see things a lot differently now than what the Calvinist theology teaches. A lot of things are taken out of context and scriptures are singled out to just one or two verses instead of reading the whole thing within its context.
We are chosen as God's chosen children it's only in the end, those who endure to the end will be saved... we are not appointed to his Wrath...it's called resurrection, not rapture.. the dead shall rise first and then those that are living will join him in the clouds and then we shall return to Earth Jesus will go and handle the judgment and then we will be with Christ for eternity into the Millennium then new Jerusalem/new earth after the great white Throne judgement

Run from cennssaliost. Without the holy spirits power is essential. To know christ is to have a intimate relationship with the holy spirit.
Do you all know that he died December 14, 2017?
