I rode in a Havel Jolion hybrid the other night, it had 18000kms on it, 4 months old and it felt pretty good.
Nice and smooth and the interior was pretty good.
The uber driver was very happy with it.
I am still not sure if I would own one though lol

Well you’re right about the affordability part; it’s centre piece of the CCP’s global strategy to secure the dominating percentage of civilian and commercial vehicle manufacturing.
But that’s come hardly out of ingenuity and hard fought competition with global rivals. Rather, it’s been all bought and heavily subsidised by the government there.
It took the likes of Japanese car companies such as Toyota, Mitsubishi and Nissan multiple decades before securing strong footholds in various overseas markets.
In as little as 10 years, they’ve gone from asbestos contaminated vehicles to putting out fleets with bought know-how (looking at Volvo…) into the markets in every design and sub-category.

If I could get a front engine rear drive sports car with a some what decent engine maybe from another manufacturer and maybe turbo for around 15k to 20k new I would jump on it.
