I watch A LOT of youtube videos and I haven't been this excited about watching one in a while! I like Shannon and Judy before but now I like you guys so much better! This was a great idea and it's great to see that Shannon is so sweet and generous!!

I know the money aspect of it. But sometimes a person can only take so much of stupid comments, and they are stupid. Money isn't everything.
I love that the makeup bloggers are generally so supportive of one another and will share time and resources. It speaks volumes about them. Great swap both ways!

She knew how to do them the first time, she just had a less than grateful person to do a swap with. I feel like she was made to go super above and beyond because she was made to feel horrible about the last one. Stuff here is extremely expensive.

I hate that there is always such negative comments directed to one person in a swap. You have to keep in mind that they agreed on 5 high end products and five drugstore ones. Shannon went completely overboard and that's sweet, but it also puts the other person in some sort of negative light. It has happened to shaaanxo too in the past, which probably is why she went all out this time. I think they both did a really good job! Plus Judy is a mom of 3 kids, all under 2 so you can't blame her for not putting as much time into wrapping and stuff. Judy and Shannon, I think you both did awesome!

Ok so after watching Shannon's first swap with Jen, I honestly feel like this swap made up for everyone bashing on Shannon. If you know Judy from watching her videos, everything she sent Shannon are things she really loves and uses on a daily basis. I didn't expect Judy to send Shannon things like Tom Ford because I don't see her use high end products like that. The reason I love Judy is because she is practical and doesn't always "splurge" on makeup. So for everyone who wants to hate on what she sent, go ahead. ***** I hope you won't let the negative comments get to you. I think you were sweet enough to reach out to her in the first place.
Right? I've never seen Shannon's videos (besides of course all the ones I just went and watched) but Judy truly did send her favorites. She was true to how she is in every video she puts up. And that's what the swap was about. People just like drama!

You meant New Zealand, right? I think Shannon learned a way to get makeup cheaper. She has talked about it in her videos. She purchases from Sephora, Nordstrom, Ulta, etc.., then uses a service to have it shipped to NZ. The shipping service is relatively inexpensive.

There is always so much hate around swaps. I don't know why youtubers always do extras, if there is budget... budget is budget right?
But there wasn't a budget. I think they just stated a number of drugstore and high end...it all seemed pretty vague...which is a recipe for one person to look better than the other. With that said, I still think it was a pretty even swap..but I agree.. I always love the swap videos but the comments make me cringe.

I don't get how people could turn such a kind and generous thing so negative. Like honestly keep your nasty comments to yourself. Yeah Shannon gave more, but there was NO guidelines. Maybe Judy should have wrapped them better? You think she was time with like 2 month old twins and a toddler? She barely get out the houses as it is.
