A few weeks ago I rented a farm near Franklin WV to do a video about the Civil War in that area. The farm was deep in 150 acres. A few days in we started to hear some noises in the surrounding forest that I have never heard in PA. Maybe a wolf, but I never heard a wolf sound like that in PA. The sounds are at the end of my "Running from Stonewall" video if you want to hear it.

I think the videography and cinematography you have on this channel is excellent. I would like to see more experiments conducted, like trail cameras meticulously placed, DNA gathering, food placed where only this creature can get to it. Would be interesting to see these results.
They can most certainly see the laser that triggers the camera!! Trail cameras are basically useless, in my opinion...You'd have to use a camera with a 50 terabyte sd card that records constantly...
They do a great job! And they don’t focus on Sasquatch either. It’s just a bonus. I get lost in the visuals just being one with the forest. I could never do what they do. I’d get lost end up way far from the camp and probably fall off a cliff and die. Or die from shock from something that wasn’t there. My imagination is my down fall. It would get the best of me. People don’t understand it looks sooo different at night. It’s very scary even if there is nothing to it.

My backyard...I know this area well. Fifty years of hunting, fishing, and outdoorsmanship. Nothing seen or heard thus far, Bigfoot-wise anyway. Rock piles like that are pretty common. At one point (mid-19th to the early 20th century), almost the entire state was clear cut by the logging industry. Rock piles and walls still stand that were used as property markers and/or for clearing pastures for farming and/or livestock. There's little "old-growth" forest left. But, Organ Cave just outside of Caldwell WV is a fun one to visit. It was used to house black powder and other munitions during the Civil War, and changed hands between Union and Confederate troops several times. There's still evidence of what it was used for in there (at least there was the last time I was there). There's some albino freshwater shrimp and eye-less albino catfish that inhabit the stream inside of it that have evolved over the eons in perpetual darkness there as well. It's a fun thing to explore if one is ever in that part of the state around the Lewisburg/White Sulfur Springs area. The Greenbrier Hotel that sits on top of and houses the US Government's Nuclear fallout shelter, and the Green Bank Radio Space Observatory are a short drive away too. But I gotta say fellas, noise discipline, noise discipline...as loud as you guys are most everything within a mile of ya is long gone.
Thats what I kept thinking was anything within a few hundred yards hears them coming long before they would see them. Especially if they're pursuing something as elusive and perceptive as a bigfoot.
yup, it'd surprise most just how far noise will travel in the woods and on the water. If one has to communicate, whispering and/or hand signals are preferred. If ya gotta move, go slowly, and step toe to heel instead of heel to toe as we normally do (I know that I'm probably "preaching to the choir" here, but I have experienced the need to hunt if I wanted to eat, and noise discipline played a huge part in being successful). Apologies for the ratchet-jawing...
ah, wow - you go to the loveliest and spectacular places! I wish I could explore North America like you do. I live in Britain. At 38.04 - what is that behind John's right shoulder? It looks like two green glowing eyes, looking his way. A small animal? Oh... a reflection from the camera?
I'm an American by birth but a Mountaineer by the grace of God. Love these mountains. They get in your soul. It's hard to describe but wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I've been to beaches, down south, north etc. Skiing, hiking, hunting , fishing, white water rafting and more. Beautiful state. Just don't go snooping up hollers where the stills might be, won't walk out lol.
I’m surprised there are only a few people who have mentioned that Sasquatch are nomads. They roam, never in one place too long. It has mostly to do with food. They travel great distances pretty quickly actually. They mark their trail constantly for others to follow behind them later. They just want to survive and staying one place for too long diminishes their food supply. When there is one there are many. The forest is a huge place. Yet it can even be threatened by over eating. Think of Sasquatch as the guardian of the forest. They are much like the Navi .
I live really close to kanawha state forest. A little over 3 years ago,I heard a bigfoot howl coming from kanawha state forest. It was exactly like the the ohio howl.. complete with the all the local dogs responding. I also heard one whoop coming from the mountian across the street as I was walking from my car one night. Another time, I heard mumbling gibberish coming from the drop off,in the creek next to my house. It sounded kind of high pitched like what is thought to be a female in the cierra sounds recordings. Nobody goes down there, especially at night.
The audio at the end does sound like black bear shenanigans! Lol Great sound track for the region, I'm an Appalachian myself and approve! You all have great cameras, and technology that you take along for the investigations! Keep on making these great videos, I'm glad I found, and subscribed to your channel! Y'all have a good one!
Most of my family is from West Virginia and western Virginia area and I had heard stories of Boogers and Wild Woman of the Woods. On my first visit to my Uncle Howard's place over around Renick, W.Va. I had to go to the bathroom one night and went out to the outhouse which is what they had at the time. My uncle had told us that we are tell him if we had to go at night but being a small kid I forgot to let him know but I guess they had heard the screen door slam when I went out. Anyway I was in the out house and something hit the top of the outhouse which scared me big time. When it hit the top a second time I screamed and it screamed and that is when my uncle and Dad came out with a shotgun and fired it in the air. Iheard whatever it was start to run off behind me I run towards the house. My Dad and uncle smiled and laught at me and said I meet a booger, which at the time I didn't know what they meant. I was about 6 or 7 years old and I am 67 now and I have never forgotten that. Thanks for your videos guys.

Hi guys-good show. I really enjoy your work. BTW-I saw Jeff Meldrum in the video. I met and talked with Dr Meldrum for a couple of hours at his lab (Idaho State, Pocatello Idaho) in the first week of June, 2022. (and we have communicated by email many times) Was this expedition (West Virginia) after the 1sdt week in June? Jeff didnt mention it to me, so I would guess it had not happened at that point. Keep up the good work!
Oh wow I’m close to parsons like 10 -20 miles away never heard stories or anything I’m a avid hunter and outdoorsman never seen or heard anything crazy or off but it’s still cool seeing people trying
Regarding the pick up on the thermal ...I slowed the footage down to 1/4 and I'm pretty sure I see front and back legs (side view) and the head move just a millisecond time stamp 40:40 before your cut away . Bear and maybe a cub off to the side. It's a good thing you guys weren't closer to them. It might have gotten dicey. Great stuff guys
Interesting he mentioned her describing it with a Grinch like gut, I've heard this rarely but have heard similar accounts. As if we don't have enough to wonder about 😏👍
I'll tell you a little trick on how to not let water from rain get at the bottom of your tent . Don't let the tarp stick out from under tent. Make sure all. The edges are under the tent so water doesn't build up between tarp and tent
I think you all need to keep lights and noise down when your walking. They know you are there and it’s like “here we are , go hide “. I know get it’s dark. But everyone has lights and they know you are there then. I wanna see success. you need to be more stealth. I wish i could go. Ha ha. Love you show
Love ur channel and vids. I'd love to see u all investigating Shawnee state forest in friendship ohio...that's where I gonna see one hopefully. Family and I go there regularly and do night hikes. Keep up good work guys.
Aleks seems to be the chef!! His burgers look yummy! Food outdoors always tastes better! Those subterranean caves are interesting, but not for me. (Especially after watching a movie called “Ascent”. I do enjoy you brave guys traipsing in there.
You're catching H2o with the tarp extended beyond the floor pattern of the tent, thus having it under your bed. Also may I say an additional tarp over tent will provide extra protection from the elements.
What about reports of Sasquatch in Oregon causes Survivorman to say here that Oregon is among the "three most damgerous" places where Sasquatch encounters occur? Thanks.
What is the name of the Seasoning you guys are using on your hamburgers Especially after they're cooked because the way ELI reacts and gets excited I HAVE TO KNOW?
Y’all need to check out the Woodbooger farm over near Louisa/Paintsville Kentucky. Rick Wells has had many many encounters over the years…. check out his RUclips channel Woodbooger Farm. Some of his family came from southern West Virginia originally and he has heard some whoops and screams at 22 Mine road when traveling through there on 119. By the way I was born and raised in 27 holler (Right Fork of Trace Creek Rd) that heads up at 22 mine Rd. in Mingo county.
What are the rock stands for, hunting? That would only make sense to have rocks ready to throw if they see a deer. Look for frequently used deer trails and get rocks ready on the top of the hill, it's much easier to throw downhill, plus further range.
Nice hike , great walk in the woods , the cave was very interesting . I don’t think you will ever find it walking through the woods . My belief is it’s very intelligent and it will find you if it wants . The creature is a predator , that means your the prey .
Are u guys sqaching in dolly sods? Good place gents. Guys on spruce knob mountain about 4 miles from the lake going towards rt 28 I stopped to answer naturas call no place to pull over so I just stopped in the dirt road I went into the woods a little ways and low and behold and elaborate tree structure. Right smak dab in the middle of nowhere.
What's the deal with pepperoni rolls? I'm a 63 year old lifelong West Virginian. I can honestly say pepperoni rolls are not as vital to us as biscuits and gravy and definitely not a staple food like a lot of people insinuate. It must be a Fairmont thing because I live right in the heart of the New River Gorge National Park (Fayetteville) and I don't know of any establishment that sells them short of a gas station. Cool video though!
I must say that this episode was very interesting I am Surprised that no one seemed to notice that you were being watched by a pair of eyes clearly seen in the woods in the dark I even went back and looked at it 3 times and still saw the 1 pair of white circles with something in the middle just like we have on our faces with 2 eyes and nose in the middle Perhaps sometime in the future you will go back on your Video and look very closely at it When you were in the woods at night and right after or just before you dropped whatever you had in your hand

The thing I like the most about this channel is the way you film the scenery, and the way you guys work together. It very pleasant watching! i would love to visit your beautiful country one day! Thank you for your content! QEC
Get the book, Truth Denied, by Scott Carpenter... Or look up Dr. Melba Ketchum, who did the DNA testing that proved that they are 95% human, 5% unknown... Matriarchal is human, Patriarchal is 100% unknown!!
Woooooooo baby so hyped for this one
Oh wow I’m close to parsons like 10 -20 miles away never heard stories or anything I’m a avid hunter and outdoorsman never seen or heard anything crazy or off but it’s still cool seeing people trying
Fab one guys, I love caves.

I'll always love West Virginia
Tree damage at 30:31 could be from a pileated woodpecker.
As if we don't have enough to wonder about 😏👍
Real guts but that's what make ur show on top of my list. Find bigfoot but b safe partners.🧐👍👊💪
I'll tell you a little trick on how to not let water from rain get at the bottom of your tent . Don't let the tarp stick out from under tent. Make sure all. The edges are under the tent so water doesn't build up between tarp and tent
Pepperoni rolls are so popular Kroger sells them!! I love them.
Great Video !!!!!
I think you all need to keep lights and noise down when your walking. They know you are there and it’s like “here we are , go hide “. I know get it’s dark. But everyone has lights and they know you are there then. I wanna see success. you need to be more stealth. I wish i could go. Ha ha. Love you show
Living in weston ,WV nice Video!!!
The "Ron Spomer Outdoors" theme music kept throwing me off. I kept thinking I'd clicked on a different video on accident.
Beautiful Land. I wish I could live there.
Love ur channel and vids. I'd love to see u all investigating Shawnee state forest in friendship ohio...that's where I gonna see one hopefully. Family and I go there regularly and do night hikes. Keep up good work guys.
Its a verry beautyfull place ❤❤❤
Aleks seems to be the chef!! His burgers look yummy! Food outdoors always tastes better!
Those subterranean caves are interesting, but not for me. (Especially after watching a movie called “Ascent”. I do enjoy you brave guys traipsing in there.
Great video, definitely beautiful area for these creatures to inhabit🍂
Look up the Xanue Forrest people if you want to know the truth about Sasquach
@@jerrybartlett273 Thank you. I will do that...🤗
@@bonitawilcox2909 your welcome and I will be glad to answer any questions you may have. They are amazing
@@jerrybartlett273 ok...great...thank you.🤗
@@bonitawilcox2909 l am trying to get the truth out to open minded believers
You're catching H2o with the tarp extended beyond the floor pattern of the tent, thus having it under your bed. Also may I say an additional tarp over tent will provide extra protection from the elements.
can bigfoot have a clear vision at night time .Has bigfoot got two diffrent eye vision one for day time and one for night time
I love your content!!♥️♥️

What about reports of Sasquatch in Oregon causes Survivorman to say here that Oregon is among the "three most damgerous" places where Sasquatch encounters occur? Thanks.
What is the name of the Seasoning you guys are using on your hamburgers Especially after they're cooked because the way ELI reacts and gets excited I HAVE TO KNOW?
5 Hour Sasquatch encounter @ Beavermouth in Quesnel British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦
Nice!!!!
New sub ! Liked 🙏👍🤘😃
So beautiful,
What's the deal with pepperoni rolls?
I'm a 63 year old lifelong West Virginian. I can honestly say pepperoni rolls are not as vital to us as biscuits and gravy and definitely not a staple food like a lot of people insinuate. It must be a Fairmont thing because I live right in the heart of the New River Gorge National Park (Fayetteville) and I don't know of any establishment that sells them short of a gas station. Cool video though!
keepin it real 👍
i love it
I must say that this episode was very interesting I am Surprised that no one seemed to notice that you were being watched by a pair of eyes clearly seen in the woods in the dark I even went back and looked at it 3 times and still saw the 1 pair of white circles with something in the middle just like we have on our faces with 2 eyes and nose in the middle Perhaps sometime in the future you will go back on your Video and look very closely at it When you were in the woods at night and right after or just before you dropped whatever you had in your hand
