      I saw them in Phila. last year in a small venue, was 15' away from Sly. For 2.5 hours he beat those drums asses- they were on life support when the show was over. Couldnt take my eyes off him- the man is a MASTER.

    I Got to See them in Concert with All the Old members and New in 1982 on Maui , Micheal Rose & Don Carlos , Puma , Duckie , and Garth& Junior Reid Debut, sly Robbie even On the Anthem World Tour , Huge Set Up Two Drum Sets Bass Lines ! World Class Vocalist & Percussions , the Transition Roots Vocals to Eltronica ,keyboards with the Genera Changes of the 80's to More Pop Crucial Roots , The 80's was Amazing (Blessed to Been In the MAGIQ Times )

    I saw black Uhuru in London at the Brixton academy and the rainbow theater in 1981 and 1983 with my brother Phill very good gigs nice one one love

      Yes puma was so special the band shifted units because of her female presence. She was a beautiful princess with a voice pity she wasn't more appreciloved. Politics in the band meant she died a broken woman shame. Duckie Simpsons moving account in his 3 part interview here on RUclips, is very revealing of the struggles behind the scenes shocking.

    Funny thing is that a lot of young rasta lovers know michel rose,, but not black uhuru. Than the day comes that they see this,, the best of M. Rose in the biggest band ever, Black uhuru. Thats a big surprise for them hahaha

    Those were the days Road block at Finsbury Park that night the Uhuru Live Sly and Robbie's and the fullness of Michael Rose Puma Jones Duckie Simpson house was rocked by the relentless beats of the bands energy those days long gone but the memories and these recordings remain that's at least some consolation what has happened to reggae music not the same anymore

    One Love! 🎼🎵🎵Met them a couple of times backstage when they played Berlin. Puma was no longer with the band at that point.RIP, sister.❤1st time I saw them was with the riddim twins. Very conscious, irie vibes. Love Uhuru.❤ Respect. Culture roots reggae, yes I.🔥🔥🎵🎶

    Beautiful concert , musicaly, they are top level, Sly and Robbie of course but not only, the guitar is vert Nice to.... and so are the others.
    I have the Luck to ear and see Them in Paris around 2005 , ufortunatly without The Nice " Puma" 🙏❤🥁🎸

    although others maybe pioneered reggae earlier and are much notorious, i personally consider this particular live album THE BEST, the quintessence of reggae. At least, what i personally expect from reggae, this music fully delivers!!
