Production for Boeing's 757 ended in 2004, so it's getting harder and harder to catch a flight on this narrow body. However, Delta still operates a lot of them so I was happy to see that they had a flight scheduled with this plane from SAN to JFK. This flight wasn't as smooth as I had hoped though. It’s hard to believe that anyone would even try to smoke on an aircraft. It’s not just the safety of you but everyone else that is put in jeopardy! Good job on the crew tooking it seriously! ✈️
Yeah, I was caught completely off guard. I honestly didn’t think I’d ever see something like this in 2021.
Fun fact: That´s the reason why airplane lavatories have ash trays. So even if someone smokes, the cigarette can be safely disposed. Great video as always!

(PS, my very first flights were on 707s and DC-8s, so the 757 was a huge step up when it was new. I still enjoy flying on them, most recently UA EWR-Heathrow.)
The 757s are definitely really cool planes. It’s sad to see them being retired.

I’ve flown on a 757 so many times now delta lax to Atlanta to lax to Dca every time I get a 757-200 to Dca and 300 to Atlanta
